I Know It's Hard, But Who Are You To Fall Apart On Me?
And I Can't Wait Just To See You Again.
It's official, I'm not a huge fan of planes. Maybe it was because that was the first plane I have ever been on. Or maybe it was the fact that the guy next to me was a total creep. Either way, I prefer to just drive everywhere. No turbulence, no creeps. As I walked out of the hall into the lobby of the airport, I realized Kyle never told me if someone was meeting me or what. Shit. Just as I was about to dial Kyle to find out what to do, someone taps me on the shoulder. I turn to find a girl with blonde hair with green ends and a metal pole through her bottom lip and a small dermal under her left eye, smiling at me.
"Hi, you wouldn't happen to be Blade? The photographer from Alt Press Magazine." The blonde asked.
"Uh, yes. That's me. Who are you?" I asked confused and slightly creeped out.
"Oh, my bad. My names Ember!" She beamed.
"Nice to meet you. But how do you know me?" I said giving her a strange look.
"Ah, right. I'm Pierce The Veil's merch girl. I was told to meet you when you landed."
"Oh, okay. Well thanks. I was a bit confused to as where to go from here, nobody told me."
"Well no worries. I will get you to the tour bus safely." Ember said while helping me with my bags and having me follow her out. "Is this your first tour?"
"Um, yeah. What about you? Have you been a merch girl before?"
"Yes, a few times. This is my second time with Pierce The Veil. They are great guys!"
"Oh really. What are they like?" I asked hoping she would calm some of my nerves. The whole plane ride I couldn't stop thinking about the moment I meet Pierce The Veil. I was nervous, excited, and a bit scared they wouldn't like me.
"Well, Mike is really nice. He can be a bit of a horn-dog sometimes though. So just to warn you, he will probably continually hit on you the whole time. Tony is really shy, but he such a sweetheart and so easy to talk to. Vic is just the sweetest ever. He is always there when you need someone and is just so down to earth. And he gives the best hugs, ever." Ember gushed, seeming to be off in her own world as she drove.
"Uh, I see. Um, what about the forth guy? Jaime, right?" I said, snapping her back to reality.
"Oh, right. And then lastly, Jaime. He's the funny one. Always messing around and cracking jokes. He's just a big kid. But he is so sweet and cares about everyone."
"Oh, Maybe meeting them won't be so bad. I don't know why I'm so nervous." I said, not meaning to speak out loud.
"Oh, don't be nervous, they will love you! I just know it!" Ember beamed.
"Thanks." I said smiling. At least someone seems to like me. So I will have someone to talk to for the tour. And Ember seems really sweet. Also a bit head over heels for Vic, but I'll wait to bring that up.

"Alright, we're here! Welcome to your new home for the next couple months." Ember squealed.
"Home sweet home, I guess. You will be staying on the bus too, right?" I said, hoping I wouldn't be the only girl.
"Oh, yes. Don't look so worried." Ember laughed. "Well, time to meet everyone, then we hit the road!"
I grabbed all of my things and climbed out. Guess this is it, finally time to meet the guys. Oh, please don't let me make a fool out of myself in front of them..
"Alright everyone, this is Blade! The photographer from Alt Press Magazine. She will be here for the whole tour." Ember introduced me to the four guys sitting in the front lounge, but only 3 belonged to the band.
"Hey! Nice to meet you!" They all said in unison.
"Hi." I smiled nervously.
A guy with long brown wavy hair with a beanie and a hoop through his nose stood up and walked over to me. "Hey, I'm Vic. So glad you could be a part of this tour!" He said giving me a hug. Okay, Ember was right about that hug thing.
Next a tall skinny guy with a hoop through his bottom lip and tattoos covering his body came over. "I'm Mike. The younger and better looking brother of Vic." He said winking at me. I couldn't help but laugh a little.
"I'm Tony." Said the guy on the couch smiling shyly. He was covered in tattoos and with a small dermal below his left eye.
"And I'm Casey! The best part of this band, the drum tech!" He joked and sprang off the couch and gave me a hug.
"Nice to meet you guys." I smiled at them. Then looked around to see if there was anyone missing. Where was Jaime?
"Wait, where is Jaime? I thought all of you were going to be here when I got back." Ember said.
"Oh, Hime had to run to the store cause Tone forgot some things. He should be back any minute. But Blade, feel free to go check out the rest of the bus and get your stuff unpacked. Your bunk is the second middle one on the right." Vic said nodding towards the back.
"Hmm, right next to mine." Mike said smiling at me.
"Thanks." I said, shaking my head at what Mike said. I headed to the back and set my stuff by everyone else's bags. Man was I exhausted. Maybe I could take a short nap when we got on the road. But for now I might as well get my camera and stuff out and get it ready for tonight's show.

I woke up cuddling my camera. Damn, I must have nodded off while waiting for my laptop to boot up. I wonder how long I have been asleep? I jumped down from my bunk and walked out into the front lobby to find a spiky haired guy playing with what looked like half of a guitar.
"Oh, hi! I'm Hi-Me! You must be the photographer. Least that's what I'm guessing since you were passed out back there hugging a camera." Jaime said laughing a bit.
"Oh, yea. That's me, I'm Blade." I said blushing slightly hoping he didn't notice.
"Nice to meet you. Sorry I wasn't here earlier to meet you." He smiled showing his dimples.
"That's alright. Better late than never."
"So are you ready to witness your first Pierce The Veil show from side stage? Cause we just arrived, everyone is out unloading."
"Damn, I was asleep that long.. And yea I'm pretty excited and nervous."
"Yea you were out cold back there, we tried to wake you up for lunch." He laughed. "But don't be nervous, you'll be just fine. Just make sure you make me look good in those pictures of yours." He joked and smiled at me again. Damn, those dimples.
"Don't you worry, I will. It's my job." I smiled back at him. "Smile." He smiled big and I lifted my camera and snapped a picture.
