The Cost of Freedom Is High

What The Hell Is Going On?

3 Months Later -

Once again alone I woke up, and ventured my way back down to the main ‘family’ room. I’d gotten used to being alone, but it was definitely a weird feeling based on what I’d become accustomed to.

Following my schedule to a perfect T, I got dressed, grabbed my coffee, turned on the radio which presented me the Creatures Album, and I sat down on the butterfly chair to start my knowingly boring day off, or so I thought.

The first three songs passed, but I was suddenly interrupted with the door frantically slamming open.

“What the hell?” I exclaimed, jumping from my place on the chair and backing off and away towards the kitchen.

“It’s okay, it’s me, relax.” Chance cooed, running into the house and lifting me up into a sudden bear hug.

“Chance!” I screamed in joy, wrapping my arms around him embracing him as tight as possible.

“Bella I know you’re excited, and believe me you have no idea how fucking happy I am to see you after all this time, but right now we’ve got about 20 minutes to get this plan for you to get out in motion.” He explained, setting me down.

“Wait, what’s going on?” I asked him now worried.

“I can’t fully explain it to you right now, but I need you to trust me. Do I have that?” Chance asked me.

“Of course, tell me what to do and I’ll do it.” I said, now worried off of the fact that he appears to be a bit nervous himself.

“You need to run, and at 10:30 am exactly. I don’t care where you go, just run as fast as possible.” He told me.

“Wait, you’re confusing me. I thought you were going to help get me out.” I replied.

“I know, and I am. It’s just not something I can fully explain, this time I’m not taking any chances of letting them know what the full plan is. That’s why not even you can know everything.” He explained.

“Chance-” I began, but with a quick look at his watch he started out the door.

“I’ve got to go now Bells for this to work. Just please trust me, and I promise you that you’ll be out of this hell forever. I won’t be any longer than 2 weeks, so please besides from running away, act how you’ve been these last couple months. Don’t let them start suspecting anything.” Chance rushed, heading towards the door.

“Chance, how can I have faith this will work. No offense, but we’ve tried this before.” I sullenly whispered.

“Listen to me, and listen well. You are going to get out no matter what, the past doesn’t matter, only the future does right now. I need you to have faith in this and believe in me. You can’t let them ruin your hopes anymore, okay?” He said.

“Okay.” I gingerly smiled back up at him.

“Thank you, I’ll see you later then. Just remember to run, and fast.” He said, his last words before he disappeared back outside and into his black car.

“Fuck.” I muttered.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~2 Hours Later -
The second the clock struck 10:30, both feet were out of the door and I was sprinting like I never have before straight out the back entrance and towards the wooded makeshift forest towards the back of the residence.
I was sprinting down the path that I’d done so long ago, but something caught my eye from back near the house, something that was in no way shape or form good.
A tour bus.
Stopping for a quick second I attempted to read the band name of the bus, but I stopped when I heard a voice from behind me yelling to someone else.
Shit, that wasn’t good at all.
I debated continuing running away from the house, but when leaves suddenly started to crunch and a pair of feet were clearly heard running in my direction I turned around at the speed of light and bolted like hell to the back entrance of the house.
By the time I was in the house my heart was racing out of control, and as I slammed the door shut my hands were shaking like crazy.
“Chance, what the hell did you get me into?” I groaned.
I ran to the front of the house the, making sure to lock all of the main entrance doors in hope that it would keep whoever these people were out.
It would be different if it was OMAM’s bus or even BMTH’s, but this was a bus that was completely unfamiliar to me and I couldn’t see the band name on it.
I was so confused, and the only real option that I could think of is to go and hide in a room for a little bit, and slowly figure things out from there.
I cautiously made my way down the main hallway, and froze when I heard voices coming from the direction I was headed.
Without another thought or second, I turned on my heel and ran like hell back to the main doors.
I opened them up, and once the large door was open I ran straight into a nightmare I had long forgotten about.
“Hello, love.” William Control smiled.
Shit.
I once again turned on my heel, and sprinted back in the direction that I had just come from.
Looking back I noticed William behind me, not running but taking strides towards me.
Fuck was he getting close, with one last quick look behind me I went to turn a corner and suddenly slammed into another skinny yet incredibly strong body.
“Morning, princess.” He smiled down, with his black hair, piercing eyes, and spider bites glaring at me.
Before I could get a word out, he placed his hand over my mouth and shoved a needle into my neck.
The last thought I had before I passed out was “What has Chance gotten me into?”
Truth was, I had no idea.
