The Cost of Freedom Is High

I Can Mess With Him, But Caution Must Be In Place

“Rise and Shine.” Tyler yelled, pulling off the blankets and turning on the lights.

The light burned my eyes.

“Did you really have to do that?” I questioned him, sitting up and rubbing the grogginess out of my eyes.

“I’ve been telling you to get up for five minutes, something was bound to work.” He told me.

“Wait, did you already talk with the others?” I asked.

“Yep, and they will do their part as long as you promise to follow yours.” He said.

“What exactly would that be?” I wondered.

“Simple, you follow all previous rules, be nice even if you hate us, and the only rule we have is no sex. Do that and you’ll be fine.” Tyler replied.

“Okay.” I said, getting up.

“Ah, ah, try again.” He tisked me, standing so that I couldn’t get off the bed.

“What?” I questioned him.

“You’re missing something after the word okay.” He informed me.

Rolling my eyes, I said “Okay, sir.”

He stepped aside, let me get out of bed, and then led us both down to the main and largest living room, where Kuza, Denis, James, Tino, Phil, Michael, DJ, Ryan Sitkowski, and Jaime were all sitting.

“Well, if it isn’t little Miss. Runaway.” James exclaimed, with obvious anger in his voice.

It was oddly controlled though.

“That’s actually my stripper name.” I joked with him.

“Look who got a sense of humor.” Jaime stated, pulling me down onto his lap.

“Thanks?” I said.

“Wait, before anything else I along with everyone else is wondering how you got out.” Denis asked.

“There’s a little attic above the garage, I just stayed in that.” I answered honestly.

“How the hell did you know about that?” Ryan wondered.

“I’m a very observant girl.” I told them.

“Yeah, yeah, whatever.” He groaned.

“Go and actually do us a favor, love, grab the silver box in the front hall and bring it back here. Then you can go and do whatever.” Denis instructed.

“I’ll be back.” I said, getting off of Jaime’s lap and making my way towards the front hall.

I looked around and noticed that Tyler was nowhere to be seen. Hmm, after I give them the box I’d have to find him and give him shit. It was fun, but I still had to watch myself.

“Thank you.” Denis said with a smile on his face, as I put the heavy box down on the floor.

“You’re welcome, sir. May I go?” I asked.

“Go ahead.” James stated.

“Thank you.” I said, and left.

I was on the hunt for Tyler.

After looking everywhere on the floor I was on, against my first judgement I found myself going downstairs into what I guess was kind of the punishment room, the one next to Kuza’s room.

“Well there you are.” I exclaimed with glee, finding him pushing a few boxes up against the wall.

“It wasn’t like I was missing.” He stated.

I leaned up against the wall, crossing my arms, doing what I’d call the classic Tyler stance and watched him continue his work.

“Was it hot up there, or was it just Kuza?” I asked.

“Really?” He chuckled, looking up at me.

“I saw that little look you gave him, and plus you have to go a week without screwing me so I wouldn’t blame you if you got lonely.” I replied.

“I am warning you right now Bella, you’re riding a very thin line, don’t test any of us.” Tyler cautioned me.

With that and Chris’ sudden entrance carrying a few more boxes in I decided that I might want to pull back a bit. They had given me an inch, and I think everyone could tell I wanted it to stretch a bit further, but that was not going to happen.

No one had forgotten their place, and no one would be allowed to.

“You look a bit flustered today.” Chris mentioned as he passed me.

“I’m not, sir. I promise.” I responded.

“OKay, if you say so.” He muttered.

Opening the boxes with a box knife, and tossing out the wrapping I kind of became intrigued with what the unknown objects were in the box.

“You don’t want to know, trust me.” Tyler said.

Props to him, he could read me like a book.

“Thanks for warning me.” I told him.

“No problem. Before I forget though, Bella. Austin and Danny wanted to see you outside to talk about something. So you might want to go and see what’s up.” Chris stated.

“Isn’t it locked?” I wondered.

“You won’t have any problems, they can unlock it from outside.” Chris replied.

“Okay, I guess I’ll see you later.” I said, going up the stairs and back out towards the back yard.

What could be so important that they needed me for?

I guess I was about to find out.
