The Cost of Freedom Is High

“I’ll go get her.” I said.

“Just to let you know she can’t get into any doors that are black so don’t even try those.” James told me.

“Okay, thanks.” I replied.

I took off down the main hallway and tried to at least reach a spot where I could hear her footsteps.

“Bella.” I called out to her.

“Leave me alone asshole!” She yelled.

I could hear her voice, but still had no idea as to where she was. This place was truly a huge mansion. I’d say it was a good three times bigger than the one Michael, Phil, and I had shared.

Noticing an open door at the end of the hall I made my way in there.

“Come on out Bella, let’s not start this game.” I stated.

Nothing.

Checking under the bed, in the closet, basically searching every square inch of the room. No Bella to be seen anywhere.

What the hell?

Locking the room behind me, I went back out and just continued to search every room top to bottom locking every door behind me. Once every door that was possible for her to get in were locked I started to make my way downstairs. That was about an hour and a half in total.

Making my way back to the main foyer I found myself running into Thrasher.

“Any luck at all?” Thrasher asked me.

“No, I have no idea where she is.” I admitted.

“I think I might have an idea. I’ve found her there a few times before.” Thrasher responded.

“Where?” I wondered.

“Follow me, I’ll show you.” Thrasher told me.

We quietly made our way up the stairs and towards the shower and bathing room in the middle of this floor.

I walked in behind Thrasher, and locked the door.

“Take the right side, and I’ll get the left. If you hear anything just go after her.” Thrasher whispered.

I nodded and we made our slow walk down the side of the large room, checking each miniature stall with a shower and bath.

“Anything?” I asked, finding nothing on my side.

“No, I guess now we just go upstairs and regroup with the guys.” He stated.

Agreeing with him we went upstairs and met with all of the other guys who were now awake.

“Shit, you don’t have her either.” Chris sighed.

“We covered every square inch of our area and there was no trace of her anywhere.” I said.

“Well we’ve looked as well, and we checked every single cameron in this house and there’s no show of her. That’s good though as well because she wasn’t on the outside cameras so we know she’s still inside.” Vinny stated.

“She’s obviously in a very well hidden spot, I say for now we just let her calm down a bit and when she’s ready she’ll come down and we’ll go from there.” Tyler suggested.

“I’m not waiting for more than two hours, after that I say we need to go and find her.” Cameron replied.

Before anyone could say anything else, we all heard the sound of some type of door slam.

“Where the hell did that noise come from?” Danny asked.

“We’ve got bigger problems than that.” I stated.

Looking out the window I saw Michael’s black car being driven out of the driveway and away from the property.

“Oh, fuck.” Michael exclaimed.

“We need to go and get her now.” Kuza hissed.

My instincts kicked in and I along with a few others bolted down into two separate cars that were parked in the garage.

I was passenger to Jaime driving. He started up the car but we went nowhere, same as the other car.

“What the hell?” He growled.

The both of us hopped out of the vehicle to inspect what was wrong.

All of the tires were slit.

She was in so much trouble.

“Hey, we’ve got a note from her.” Ryan said, coming out into the garage.

Once he handed it to me I quickly read it, it didn’t take long.
