The Cost of Freedom Is High

“Rise and shine, princess!” Someone exclaimed, throwing on the lights.

I covered my eyes and buried my face into one of the couch’s pillows.

“It’s so bright.” I groaned.

“You’ve now slept for like 22 hours Bella, time to face the day.” They said again.

Finally, I opened my eyes and saw that Kuza was standing next to me in front of the couch.

“Hi.” I smiled.

“Get up and we’ll go downstairs.” Kuza told me.

“Give me a few seconds.” I asked him.

“No way, for all we know you’d fall asleep for an entire week.” Kuza chuckled and threw me up and over his shoulder.

“I am capable of walking, you know that, right?” I wondered.

“Yeah, but this is so much more fun.” Kuza said.

“Please let me down.” I pleaded with puppy dog eyes.

“Really, after all this time apart?” Kuza replied.

“Please, sir.” I begged, knowing that acknowledgement would get him.

“There you go.” Kuza sighed, setting me down on my feet.

“Thank you.” I said as we made our way down the main level hallway towards the dining room.

“Well, look who has awoken from their slumber.” Ben exclaimed.

“Hi.” I moaned , still squinting a bit from the brightness and still a bit groggy.

Everyone from ETF, MIW, and AA were around the table, and of course there was only one empty seat for Kuza.

Robert took it upon himself, and pulled me down onto his lap.

“Here you go.” Robert told me, handing me a water bottle with smoothie in it.

“Thanks.” I muttered.

I noticed on the table everyone had a piece of paper in front of them, leaning forward I was able to look at it. It was the official list of all the bands attending Warped Tour and the official dates and cities.

One band name in particular stuck out to me, but I couldn’t figure it out.

Vampires Everywhere!

“Why does Vampires Everywhere! sound so familiar?” I asked them.

“It’s Michael and DJ’s band.” Chris told me.

“Shit, I forgot about that.” I groaned.

“Okay, I’m a bit confused. You obviously hate Michael and DJ, but you seem fine with us. Please explain.” Cameron stated.

“You’re obviously similar in what you do, the difference is just how you act and go about doing certain things.” I explained.

“Go a bit deeper.” Robert said.

“To be frank they’re cocky assholes, and you guys are a lot more I don’t know. Not douchey I suppose.” I replied, not being able to explain it any other way.

“Well aren’t you frank.” TJ chuckled.

“Sorry, there really wasn’t any other way to explain it.” I apologized.

“I understand, we didn’t exactly want to send you to someone who wasn’t going to ride you hard. No pun intended.” Ben said.

Really? Out of every expression in the world ‘ride you hard’ was the one he had to go with. Classic Ben Bruce though.

“It’s fine, what’s done is done and I’ve definitely learned my lessons. I just kind of want to move on from that.” I explained.

“Good, glad to hear it.” Danny replied.

“So what’s the plan for today?” I asked.

“Nothing really special, we’ve got to get a few things ready because tomorrow All Time Low, Of Mice & Men, and Pierce The Veil are coming back tomorrow.” Chris told me.

“Cool.” I stated.

“Everything’s set up outside.” Denis announced loudly, walking into the room.

“Awesome.” Craig replied.

“Oh hey there Bella.” Denis said.

“Hi."

“Come on, let’s go.” Robert whooped, getting up and throwing me over his shoulder.

Whatever, if that was the worse I had to deal with, I’d just suck it up.

Robert carried me all the way outside, and everyone else followed suit.

Once in the outside courtyard, which was heavily fenced in I was set down and I took a look around. The only thing really different about the yard was that there was a line of balls down the middle of the yard.

“What’s going on?” I asked Robert.

“Stay by me and you’ll see.” He replied.

I did as he told me and watched as everyone else came out and either stayed on our side of the line or the other side.

I was about to ask Robert again but before I knew it someone screamed the word ‘Dodgeball!’

Oh, crap.

9:00 pm

I found myself curled up in a comfortable hanging chair in the secretive library that was downstairs.

To be honest I didn’t even know what I was reading, I just loved that whatever this book was, it was taking me to some far off fantasy island with a princess falling in love for a prince.

As soon as Warped came around sometime during their my prince would come and rescue me.

My eyes started to flutter, due to both the intense physical activity we had done today with dodgeball, kickball, and basketball, and that teenage love for sleep.

Putting the book back in the bookshelf, I made my way back up to the lounge room where all of the guys were hanging out.

“Hey, back so soon?” Vinny chuckled.

“I’m actually going to go to bed if that’s okay.” I stated.

“Yeah that’s fine, go ahead and pick one of our rooms to sleep in for the night. We’ll make a schedule soon enough.” Craig told me.

“Okay thanks, night.” I said, leaving the room and walking upstairs.

As I was about halfway through the hallway upstairs I was suddenly taken, and pushed up against the wall.

“Shhh.” James whispered, putting a finger over my mouth.

“You scared me.” I panted out.

“I’m about to make you feel something you’ve never felt before.” He promised me.

My mind started racing, of course this was going to happen. I don’t know why it waited this long actually.

“James, I can’t right now.” I told him, my heart starting to race a bit.

“Don’t worry, I think I know how to get you going.” James said.

In the blink of an eye he had pulled the middle of my underwear to the side and slipped two fingers inside of me.

I shut my eyes tight as a wave of ecstasy rolled through my body and my core started to get wet.

“Fuck.” I groaned.

I don't think it takes much imagination as to what will be happening next chapter.
