Give Me Therapy
I took a cab home using the cab fare Brendon gave me. When I got home, I was relieved to see no one was surprisingly home other than Brendon. Usually Brendon invites Pete over or something.
I entered the house quietly and Brendon immediately stood from his spot on the couch. "You're home." He comments softly before making his way over to me. "Yup." I mumble rushing into the kitchen.
He followed me as I grabbed a bottle of whiskey and poured myself a glass before downing it in one movement. "I take you didn't enjoy therapy." Brendon sighs rubbing his forehead. "You're so damn right!" I exclaim filling my glass again.
"Maggie you know you can't quit though. I'm paying for you to tell her your thoughts not for you to mope." Brendon says sternly taking the whiskey away. "I told her the story of how Kellin, the reason I'm in this hellhole in the first place, and I met." I snap grabbing the bottle again.
"You told her about Kellin?" Brendon's tone suddenly goes soft. "She asked why I attempted suicide. But I didn't tell her exactly why I went that far the other day." I explain softly.
"You've never told me that either." Brendon chimes in. "I don't really plan on it either." I mumble going to the living room.
It was another Thursday and here we stood in the same spot outside in the same temperature. It looked like a nice day so I didn't wear a jacket but I was freezing to death. Brendon caught this and wrapped me up in his coat before leading me inside.
"You know the drill." Brendon reminds me before pressing his lips to my forehead and handing me money before leaving the lobby. Agnes was waiting since I was late and she gave me a quick nod before letting me into her office.
"So, Maggie skip to the part where Kellin and your relationship had begun to bloom." Agnes informs clicking her pen.
"Come on you can't just leave me like that." Kellin sighs through the phone.
"It's my parents." I sigh back looking around my empty room.
"Stay here." Kellin pleads.
"I can't." I roll my eyes.
"Then we'll run away."
"What?! Are you crazy?!" I snap quietly.
"It's late at night. You're leaving tomorrow for Florida. We can run off to San Diego or something." He suggests with excitement.
"I don't know Kellin." I bite my lip.
"Look, I have a car it can carry our shit. I know where my mom keeps her emergency money it's a lot of money and we could buy an apartment with it. Maggie, I won't let you leave me. I love you." He rambles.
"WHAT?!" I whisper violently.
"Nevermind. Now are we running off or what?!" He snaps.
"I'll write a note." I say smirking and hanging the phone up.
Kellin helped place some important boxes into his car before closing it up and turning to me. I glanced at my house and tugged at my coat. He grabbed my shoulders and kissed me deeply before we jumped into the car.
With that, he sped off.
"Of course we had some problems." I say sadly. "One being I had a huge drug problem." I add nervously. "Times up." Agnes states frowning. "See you next week." I state leaving the building once again.
