It'd been a few hours since Jaime called Luna and he had done some house and yard work. He wanted to see his girl now so he called her up.

"Hi hi!" Luna answered cheerily, now lounging in her backyard reading since Vic had left an hour before.

"Hey babe. At the risk of sounding clingy... Are you ready for company? I miss your face" he laughed softly.

"Yes! Please come over I'm bored as hell." Luna laughed. "I miss you too. This whole being apart thing doesn't fly well."

"Okay I’ll be there soon." He said before hanging up and driving to Tony's house. He got there in 10 minutes, got out of the car and knocked on the door. Tony came to the door a minute later and opened it.

"Hey man, what's up" Jaime said, giving tony a bro hug.

"Not much" Tony replied.

"Hey, where's Lu?" Jaime asked.

"Out back" Tony replied.

Jaime started walking towards the back.

"Oh hey wait, Jaime?" Tony called after him.

"Hmm?" Jaime stopped and turned around.

"I think we should fuck with her. I'm still playing up the whole crush on you thing since she thinks I like you. And since she thinks you're gay for me..." Tony laughed.

"Dude, yeah. What do you think we should do?" Jaime asked.

Tony held out his hand and walked up to Jaime. Jaime smirked and took Tony's hand in his and they walked to the back yard together. They opened the door and stood in front of Luna hand in hand.

Luna looked from their hands to their smiling faces and glared. "Um excuse me get your hands off my boyfriend."

Tony looked at Jaime’s eyes to see if they were on the same wavelength. Jaime nodded and Tony leaned in and kissed Jamie's cheek before turning and walking inside, dying of laughter once he shut the door.

Luna just stared. "What even..."

Jaime cracked a smile.

"Wait a minute..." Luna frowned but then she started to laugh. "Hey fuck you Tony!!!" She yelled back towards the house.

Jaime laughed "we were just fucking with you baby. Tony doesn't even like me" he said as he sat down with her and wrapped his arms around Luna.

"Hiiiii." Luna tilted her head back and beamed up at him. "I missed you today."

"I missed you more. At least you had company I had damn house work" Jaime said.

"Awww yeah I had a good time, I haven't seen Vic in forever." Luna replied.

Jaime lifted Luna and sat behind her, with him between his legs and wrapped his arms around her. "What did Vic have to say?" He said, leaning his head back on the lounge chairs.

"We just caught up, and I told him about us. He was sad we didn't tell him." She laughed, but it wasn't as hearty as usual and she left out the part about telling him about the incident from a few years ago.

"You okay?" Jaime said, squeezing her hip slightly and peering over her shoulder. She didn't sound like herself.

"Yeah, fine. Just tired." Luna smiled for him, forcing it to reach her eyes so she would seem normal.

Jaime frowned. "I can see that's not true baby..."

"My talk with tony this morning was just tough. It brought back a lot of old memories. Ill probably feel better tomorrow." Luna said.

"Hmm ok" Jaime said as he settled back into the lawn chair and closed his eyes. He didn't believe her really, he knew she wasn't telling him something, but she's had a rough couple of days with a lot of secrets getting out so he left it. He started rubbing her hips without thinking about it while he rested.

"I love when you do that." Luna mumbled, closing her eyes. "It's comforting."

Jaime smiled and slipped his thumbs just under the waistband of her jeans and continued rubbing her hips.

Luna relaxed against his chest and hummed softly in appreciation. "You always know how to make me feel better." She mumbled, starting to cheer up a little.

Jaime kissed Luna's neck gently.

"Hey LuLu, dinners ready" Tony said as he stepped outside.

Jaimes head shot up, he removed his fingers from inside of Luna's jeans and pulled her shirt down.

Tony narrowed his eyes at Jaime "for the sake of everyone involved... I am going to pretend that never happened.... Jaime are you staying for dinner?"

Jaime nodded.

Luna turned bright red as she stood up, stepping behind Jaime and hiding her face. "What's for dinner?" She asked quietly.

"Food. Eat." Tony pointed to the counter where he had put everything.

Luna rolled her eyes at him and got herself a plate, only getting a little bit of each thing.

Jaime and Tony took their food as well and headed to the kitchen table. They sat across from each other and began eating.

Luna sat next to Tony in her usual spot and picked at what little she had on her plate.

Tony and Jaime both noticed how Luna wasn’t really eating. They glanced at each other to see who was going to say something. Jaime shook his head, he knew she wouldn't tell him shit. So Tony spoke up. "Why aren't you eating baby girl?"

"I guess I'm not really that hungry." She mumbled, keeping her eyes on her plate.

"Luna Ariana that's bull and you know it. You're always hungry." Tony sighed.

"So I'm not allowed to have a change of appetite?" Luna snapped, putting her fork down.

"LuLu were just worried okay? It's just not like you and we're a little concerned." Tony continued.

"Excuse me." Luna pushed away from the table and disappeared, the sound of the shower running soon becoming evident.

Jaime sighed. "What's going on tone?" He asked.

"Well. I think I know, but you should talk to her." Tone said, gesturing to the bathroom.

Jaime got up and headed to the bathroom.

He knocked on the door "Lune?" He called.

"What." Was the only reply.

"Can I come in?" He asked.

Luna was quiet for a few minutes but then sighed. "Sure." She stepped out of the shower just enough to click off the lock on the door.

Jaime heard the door lock click and tried the handle to see if she'd unlocked it. She had, and he stepped inside.

"Baby. What's wrong?" He said when he saw her.

"Will you get mad at me if I say I'm not ready to tell you yet?" She asked from behind the curtain, standing under the stream of hot water.

Jaime sighed. "No.... I just don't want you to get all depressed again because all this is what it's looking like and it scares me to death...." Jaime trailed off, looking at his shoes.

Luna turned off the water. "Well... I just told my brother something terrible that I've kept bottled up for almost 2 years. I was trying to forget about it but now it's all back." She slid down the wall until she was sitting, and it squeaked as she went.

Jaime just stared. He didn't know what to say. He didn't want to press it and make her say anything she didn't want to, but he didn't want to just stand there.

She stood up after a minute, on shaky legs. "Can you pass me my towel please?"

Jaime grabbed the towel from the counter and handed it to her. "Honey you don't need to tell me anything you don't want to okay? And I don't want you to feel like you need to tell me anything that you aren't ready to. I just want to make sure you're okay."

"I promise I’ll tell you as soon as I'm ready. But I don't know if I'm okay and it's scaring me a little." She wrapped it around her body and stepped out into his sight.

Jaime’s heart dropped at her words. The only thing he wanted was for the love of his life to be happy and she isn't and that made him upset.

He opened his arms and pulled her into them, resting her head against his chest and just holding her tight. He never wanted to let her go.

Luna let him hold her in silence for a few minutes. "Lay down with me after I get dressed?" She requested, pulling back just enough to look up at his face with pleading eyes.

“Mhm, go on” he shooed her to her bedroom.

Luna turned around and walked from the bathroom to her room, dropping the towel and putting comfortable clothes on. Once she was decent she sat down on her bed with a sigh.

Jaime sank down the counter when Luna left to her room and cried into his hands. Why was this happening? She was so happy before, and now she’s not. After a few minutes of crying he rubbed his eyes to clear the tears. He glanced in the mirror. Fuck, red. Hopefully she wouldn't notice. He went to her room and knocked on the door.

"It's open, love." Luna said, falling backwards until she was lying with her legs dangling off the side.

Jaime wiped his eyes one more time and took a deep breath before entering her room. He walked over to the bed and climbed in next to her.

Luna immediately curled into his side, putting her head on his chest. "I'll be okay." She murmured. "Maybe not right now, but eventually." The words were mostly to soothe herself, and she didn't mean to say it out loud.

These words tugged at his heart strings. He reached up and wiped another tear that had fallen from his eyes. No matter how hard he tried he couldn't stop crying.

"Why are you crying?" She asked after awhile. "You're going to make me cry."

"It's nothing" Jaime said, trying to hide that he was crying.

Luna kissed him gently. "Shh... I’ll be ok I promise. Because of you."

"And what if you're not?" Jaime turned his face away from her so she couldn't see him.

"Baby come on don't be like that... Being negative doesn't help negative situations in the slightest." Luna put her hand on his cheek. "Look at me, c'mon."

He turned his head slowly and looked at her, tears welled up in his eyes.

Luna leaned down and kissed the tears off his cheeks, her own dripping onto his face now. "I'm going to be ok. This is just a rough patch. You won't lose me I promise. I won't let myself get that bad again."

"I just love you so much" Jaime choked out.

"I know, I know... I love you too." Luna closed her eyes and let her tears roll down her cheeks, settling into him again.

Jaime wrapped his arms around Luna tightly, leaning his head back and closing his eyes.

About an hour later Tony came to Luna's room. He knocked before entering.

"I'm going to sleep... It's getting late, Jaime..." He said, giving him a look that said 'get your ass out of my sister’s bed'.

Luna sat up. "Okay..." She frowned, not wanting Jaime to leave and have her be left all alone.

"I love you okay? Call me tomorrow" Jaime said, pecking her on the lips and walking out of her room.

"Night tone!" He called down the hallway.

"Night himetime!" Tony called back.

Luna sighed and got under her covers, turning the light off and drifting off to sleep.

She woke up around 2:30 in a cold sweat, from an extremely realistic nightmare. Trembling, she wandered down the hall and opened the door of her brother's bedroom a little, poking her head in. "Hey... Hey tony?"

Tony woke up startled, his sister doesn't usually come in his room after they've gone to bed, what could be wrong? He thought to himself. "What is it lulu? Are you okay?" He asked quietly, trying to adjust to the darkness.

"I h-had a really bad n-nightmare. Can I sleep in h-here?" Luna was shaking so hard by now that she was having trouble speaking.

"Oh, honey.. Come here you're shaking." he scooted over and lifted his blanket so that Luna could climb in. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close when she cuddled up to him. "You're alright, calm down I'm here" he kissed her head.

Luna closed her eyes and took a deep breath, a tiny whimper escaping her lips.

Tony rubbed her back and pulled her closer so she could feel his heart.

Tony started singing softly in her ear.

Luna smiled and relaxed, falling asleep to the sound of his even breathing and heartbeat.

Tony soon fell asleep after realizing that Luna had fallen asleep peacefully. He hoped being in his arms would keep the dreams away for the rest of the night.
