You can't leave me.

Music

Since I missed math I had to go to music next. I loved music it was my favorite subject. Me and Tony walked to music together, turns out we have music together too. We have most of our classes together now that I think about it.
We walk into the class room and sit all the way in the back so we are less likely to be seen..... We failed at that. Every one who came into the class would snicker and say things like "emo bitch" "looks like it's another one" "look who has a boyfriend" and so on. I started to think. Maybe it isn't a good idea to try to be Tony's friend it would ruin his chances of having a good life here he would have to live like me and deal with bitches like Taylor everyday. DING class has officially begun and it was to late to move seats away from Tony.
"ok class what we will do today is work on a new project."
the whole class starts to talk and to guess possible ideas of what the project would be.
"What you will have to do is find a partner and make a song." The whole class has a mix of emotions. "There does not need to be vocals but both people need to be playing an instrument if there is no vocals." The whole class scatters to find partners and I feel Tony tap my shoulder. I look around and then give him a little nod with out saying another word but he knew that was a yes. We sat there silently waiting for the teacher to give instructions. "Once you have found your partner you may start planing." I turn my chair so I am facing Tony and he does the same.
"I can play guitar." I look at him and smile. He seems like the type of person to play guitar.
"I can play that and the piano" he smiles at me
"can you sing?" He looks at me like he was hoping I would say yes. I shrug my shoulders then look down
"my brother always said I could but I never belived him."
"then sing." I look back up to see him smiling at me
"what?" He still is looking at me "I said then sing like sing a song." He really wants me to sing. "I-I don't know I don't really think I'm that good." He puts his hands together and makes a pouty face. "Pwzzzzz pwetty pwz with chewrrys on top."
i laugh at him. "Fine but don't say I didn't warn you."
he gets comfortable in his chair like he was about to watch a movie. I breath in and start to sing what John always told me to. It wansnt really a song but just something he put together
"you gotta stay strong.... Hold your head up high never forget the day we met because it could hold something real... We could be something real. You gotta stay strong you gotta hold on. My best friend is the world to me and I can't see my life without her and it would be dev-es-stat-ing. Yeah you. You can't leave me."
he looks at me he looks like he was on the verge of crying. "That was beautiful. You are an amazing singer Mary. Where is that song from?." I look up at him small tears running down my cheeks but I wipe them away.
"my brother. He would sing that to me when I was sad and
then make me sing it." I laugh a little as I remember how john would make me sing

*FLASH BACK*
"I can't do it anymore! Why does everyone hate me!" I through a book across the room. It hits the wall and slides to
the ground. John pulls me into a hug as I slide on the ground and cry. "You can't leave me" he would mostly sing those words over and over again. "Sing it."
"John I'm not gonna sing." He sits me on his lap and cradles me. "Yes you are now please sing. Please sing for me I love it when you sing." I look upset him then put my head back to lean against his chest and start to sing. He would hum along with me and sway. When I was finished he would always calm me down and tell me everything would be alright. It always worked.

*END OF FLASH BACK*

"Mary. Mary." I snap out of my thoughts and look at Tony
"are you ok Mary?" I nod and he gets out a piece of paper and writes down the song. "can we use this?" I nod smiling.
