The Last Punch

"It's fucking ridiculous... I mean.. Gahhhh." I was smoking as I talked to Mel on the phone.
"I mean you and Tony were fucking great.. He was drunk... I don't know girlie. I don't even know Nathan. Neither do you. You fucked him once and only met him a few days ago." I could hear Ghost with her. He was meowing loudly, probably begging for food. "But you haven't been single in forever. Maybe just give it a rest for a change." I listened as the words smoothly poured out of her mouth.
"True, thanks babes." I smiled taking another drag.
"Anything for you. Is Em keeping you safe?" She asked. I replied with a 'mmhmm' and she giggled.
"I gotta go and tell them. I can't keep them waiting cause they might tear each others heads off." I laughed and so did she.
"Just remember, fucking around isn't a bad thing necessarily. Just keep it hush hush. A friends with benefits kinda gig. Love you Al, see you in a few months." With that Mel hung up and I shoved the phone in my pocket. I flicked the cigarette butt out of the back lounge window and headed for the door. The bus was on the road and it had to have been 12 o’clock. As I walked through the bunks I noticed a majority of the members we asleep, with only Tony and Em in the front.
“Hey.” I said quietly wrapping myself in a sweater. I went to the fridge and grabbed a water.
“You gonna sit?” Tony asked, patting the seat next to him. I nodded and sat next to him. “I was thinking… Just being single for a bit is a good thing. Right?” Tony mentioned and I looked at him suddenly.
“Yeah, that was exactly what I was thinking..” I said turning my head back to look at Em. She nodded and smiled.
“Well, goodnight ladies.” Tony got up and walked to his bunk. But not before he kissed the top of my head. Emme looked at me and she smiled.
“You still like him..” She whispered with a smirk on her face. “I knew it..” She quietly laughed and so did I.
“Shut up and go to bed, you’re just tired.” I waved my hand and she got up. Flipping me off with both hands she got to her bunk and got changed quickly. “Good night..” She whispered down the hall. I shook my head and pulled out my phone, to find just another post about me getting back together with Mike or Tony. And someone had a picture of Nathan and I.. At this point I knew it wouldn’t end.. Fuck
