Alex: We here Ginger!!!
Ginger: Coming
“Hey Alex!” He say coming towards us. He pulled me into a hug and when he pulled away he shook Tony’s hand. “How ya doin’?” Alan asked as he shook his hand.
“Good, you?” Tony asked smiling.
“Good, happy to see you two so happy! And you Melody?” He asked looking to Mel. She smiled smugly and tilted her head.
“Good Ashby.. And your tour?” She said looking at his feet. He nodded an led us in. We passed the techs and crew getting things off of trucks, the merch people were wheeling over crates of merch.
“So just chill side stage! We go on first.” Alan said pointing us in the direction. He headed for where the band was. I turned to Mel and smiled.
“Just because you two fucked once doesn’t mean you have to act bitter.” I whispered and pointed to the bands direction. She looked over at Of Mice and smiled. Just as she was about to turn her head back Corey Taylor passed us, hand in hand with his wife. If you don’t know who Corey Taylor is.. you obviously have never listened to Mel talk about Slipknot. He is the lead singer and she thinks he is a total, and I quote, “Babe of all babes, I’d tap that… if he wasn’t married.” And that was just a small bit of her rants.

As we stood side stage the guys geared up. They ran onstage to the beginning of The Depths. Austin was still jumping up and down next to us. He flashed me a smiled and ran out onstage and yelled get up. I peered out and saw how crazy the crowd was. Mel and I felt a tap on our shoulders and we turned around quick. It was Em and we all hugged. Mel started to lecture her on why she didn’t travel with us to Europe. I tuned it out and went back to watching OM&M. MIW was next, then Lamb of God, Korn… then Slipknot. I was ready for this show. I’ve been ready.
