I tugged on the sleeves of my black Pantera huddie and slipped into my desk. Pulling out my notebook and a slightly chewed up pen, I flipped the doodled on journal open to the next clean page.

"All right class, we have a new student today." Mr. Bensin entered the classroom as the bell rang giving the students that were messing around a warning look. A brown haired boy followed behind him. "His name is Vic." Mr. Bensin announced, waving his hands in front of the boy as if he was showing off his new car. I kept my eyes glued to my blank paper as he continued to speak. "Vic you may pick a seat...... anywhere, I don't really care." He patted Vic on the back and proceeded to the white board, popping the lid off an expo marker and scribbling direction's across the white surface.

"Is this seat taken?" A soft voice asked. I lifted my head and peered at the boy. His Long brown hair flicked to the left of his face and his big brown eyes trained on mine. I smiled, blowing the blue hair from out of my eyes.

"Nope." He smiled at my response and silently slid into the squeaky seat. I watched as he placed his bag over the back of his chair, adjusting his grey beanie that sat perfectly atop his head.

"Alright, everyone get out your History books and flip to page 256." Mr. Bensin began. With the expo marker still in hand, Mr. Bensin peered up at Vic. "Vic.... um, share with Bethany." He sighed.

I watched as Vic smiled, scooting his desk across the white tiles with a loud screeching sound, until it alined with mine. I smirked at Mr. Bensins disapproving look and silently applauded Vic in my head, grinning to myself.

I shut my locker with an almost silent click and proceeded down the hall, watching every step I took with intensity. 'Just keep your head down Bethany, keep your head down.' I repeated to myself over and over again in my head.

"Hey, watch were your going." I growled as a group of rowdy boys shoved someone into me, causing me to drop all my books.

"Oh, um, sorry." A familiar voice chuckled. I bent down to pick up my books and giggled as Vic did the same. "Hmmm......" He sighed thoughtfully.

"What?" I questioned, peering at Vic's smiling face.

"Well, it seems I cant get rid of you." He winked, a teasing smirk playing at his lips.

I giggled. "Yay, I guess you can't." Quickly standing up, I watched as the rest of the hyper students piled down the hall and thanked Vic as he handed me the rest of my stuff.

"So, I'll see you around?" Vic asked, his nose scrunching up in a cute manner causing his nose ring to shine in the light.

"Yeah." I smiled, pulling my bag farther up my shoulder and waving goodbye before following the sea of students down the hall and out the double doors.
