Darling, You'll Be Okay..

-Jenna-

-Jenna-
I stared at Vic.
I squeezed his hand, “Vic, I-I don’t know what to say.”
“I don’t expect you to say anything. I just wanted you to know.”
I looked around, making sure nobody was around and I sighed, “Vic, I’m very, very, very in love with your brother. We’ve been talking about marriage, and having a baby. I’m so sorry. You’ve been like a brother to me over the years, and I appreciate that, but I’m in love with Mike.”
He nodded, “I understand. I knew I should’ve just kept it to myself.”
“I’m glad you told me, and got it off your chest, but it’s just not right.”

“Baby!” Mike called.
I stood up, then leaned down and kissed Vic’s cheek, “You’ll find your Mrs. Right. I know you will.”
“Jenna!” Mike called.
I winked at him, and then turned and walked into the bathroom.
“Hey babe.” I whispered.
He kissed me, “What’s the matter sweetie, you seem upset?”
“I just haven’t had my nap yet, and I’m sleepy.”
“Well, let me get dressed, and we can grab a nap together, sound good?”
I hugged him tighter, and smiled, “Yeah, I can’t wait.”
He put his clothes on, and brushed his teeth.
I stood against the wall, staring at my feet.
“Jenna, you’re not tired, you’re thinking. You always act like this when you’re thinking.”
I sighed, “Vic is in love with me. He told me just now. I told him that I was deeply in love with you.”
“You’re just confused, because Vic has feelings for you, and you don’t know how to feel about it.”
I smiled through tears at him, “You can read my like a book.”
He hugged me, “Baby, I love you, very much. And I know that Vic means well, but you have to ask yourself if it’s okay with you that he feels that way.”
“I am okay with it. I mean I can’t change the fact that Vic has feelings for me, But I just don’t know how to face him now. But there was no way I was going to just leave you, and he knew that. Mike, just cuddle me and make it all okay again.”
He laughed and put the cap on his deodorant, “Come on baby.”

I flopped on the bed, face first.
Mike picked me up with one arm, pulling the blankets back, and dropped me back where I was, sliding into bed with me.
“I can’t cuddle you if you’re going to plank.”
I laughed and curled up beside him.
“I told a little white lie, though.”
He looked down at me, “What did you say?”
I sighed, “I told Vic we were talking about having a baby.”
“Well, on that topic, you’ve never told me you wanted a baby, sweetie.”
I sighed, “I figured that was up there with getting married. One of those things we’d need to wait to do. But yes, of course. One day after we’re married and everything, I’d love to have a baby.”
He kissed the top of my head, “I agree. I’d love for us to have a baby. And get married. Soon.”
I looked up, “Really?! I thought you wanted to wait a few years.”
He shrugged, “Well, all the shit we’ve been through together, and how we’ve really stuck it out, I think that you’re ready. I’m ready. We’re ready. I want to do it.”
I kissed him, “I love you babe.”
“Shut up.” He chuckled.
We laid there in silence for a few minutes, and then he spoke again, “You know we’re probably on the fast track to having a baby, with that performance earlier, and the fact that there was no protection.”
I smiled, “Well, I guess whatever happens, happens.”

There was another knock on the door, and I stood up, “Hang on.”
I opened it and found Vic.
“H-Hi.” He stuttered.
“What’s up?”
“Can I talk to you alone?” He whispered.
I nodded, “Mike, I’m going to talk to Vic.”
“Okay. I’m right in here if you guys need me.”

I closed the door, “What’s going on baby.” I whispered sweetly.
He sighed, “I’ve done some thinking, and I’m really sorry I went all Notebook on you. I have too much respect and love for my brother to try to take you away from him that way.”
I sighed, “It’s okay Vic. I understand. You got it off your chest, and I shot you down, but Mike and I just talked about it, and we’ve decided we’re getting married. Soon. And we’re trying to have a baby too.”
“That is great, and I’m really happy for you guys!” He smiled.
“Thank you.”
He held his arms out, “Can I get a hug?”
I smiled, “You are such a goof,” I hugged him, “There’s a girl out there who will absolutely adore that goofiness, and fall in love with you, but it’s not me.”
He nodded, “You’re right. Thanks Jenna.”
“You’re welcome.”

“I’m gonna go back in. You go get some rest, and I’m going to take a nap.”
He nodded, “See you later, alligator.”
I winked, “After while, Crocodile.”

I walked back inside.
“Hey, how’d it go?”
I nodded, “Good. We squared it all away. He’s okay with everything.”
He nodded, “Great. That’s great.”
I crawled into bed, “Yeah, now are you going to cuddle me, or what?”
He kissed me and pulled my shirt over my head, “Actually, I had other ideas.”
I laughed, “Michael, we already did that today.”
He pulled me over on top of him, “We’re trying to have a baby, remember?”
I giggled against his lips, “You really are determined.”
“Shut up, and take off your shorts.”

“Mike! Jenna! Almost showtime, we gotta get down to the venue!” Vic called.
I sat up, “Come on baby, we gotta go.”
He yawned, “I’m up.”
I stood up, “You know sleep will be in short supply if we have a baby.”
He nodded, “I know. I’m committed to losing sleep and smelling like spit-up.”
“That’s good. I’m glad to hear that babe.”
He threw his clothes back on, and we headed down to the venue.

“Where have you two been all afternoon?” Tony asked.
“In our room, relaxing.” I replied, smiling at Mike.
“We’re getting married.” He said.
I looked up at him, and he smiled.
“You are?” When?” This coming from Justin Hills.
“We haven’t set a date yet. Hell, I don’t even have a ring. We’re working on it slowly.”
“They’re also trying to have a baby.” Vic added.
“I just could not picture you as a dad, Mike.” Kellin joked.
“Laugh all you want Kell, I’m gonna be a dad, and I’m going to be damn good at it.” Mike said.
I hugged him, “We’re going to make great parents, you just wait.”
“Mike forgets to feed your cat most of the time!” Jaime cried.
“Yeah, but a cat can’t cry, and scream and fuss annoyingly until you feed it. That’s the difference.” I said.
“He won’t want to get up and feed it. He’ll make you do it, cause he’s lazy.” Jaime laughed.
“Hell no! If I create a baby, I’m going to take part in caring for it. I’m not one of those brothas who doesn’t take care of the life they created.”
I smiled, “That’s my man.”
“Let’s go, we have a show.” Tony called.
I followed the boys out to the bus, and we drove out to the venue.
“I’m in the room next to you guys, I could hear everything. It’s bad enough we had to listen to it on the bus, but now in the hotel too.” Tony said.
“You’re jealous cause you’re not getting any, Turtle.” Mike teased.
“Your hand doesn’t count!” Adam yelled.
Tony gave both of us a dirty look.
“What time is it?” Mike asked.
“Seven fifteen.”
“What time do we go on?”
“Nine sharp.”
“Jenna, you’re pretty loud. I heard you four doors down. It was pretty hot.” Adam laughed.
“Shut up!” I shoved him.
Mike laughed, “You guys are so jealous of me, and my wicked babe of a fiancee.”
Everyone looked back and forth at each other, and muttered.
“So you ARE jealous of him?” I asked.
Vic turned and walked out, and the others, just scattered slowly.
Mike laughed, “They want you.”
I rolled my eyes, “Well, they’re shit out of luck. I’m yours, and only yours.”
He kissed me, “I love you.”
I smiled, “I love you too. You’ve got a show to play, go get ready.”

He sauntered off, strutting like a proud rooster.
I shook my head and laughed at him.
“So, how’s the baby thing coming?” Alex asked.
I nodded, “Pretty good. Haven’t you heard the guys complaining about the noise?”
He laughed, “I guess I missed storytime today.”
I just grinned, “Listen closely tonight, you’ll hear what I’m talking about.”
He laughed, “I’m two floors down.”
I smiled, “And your point is?”
He shook his head, “You’re a freaky girl.”
“Now you know why Mike loves me so much. What time do you go on?”
“Ten.”
“Well then I guess you’d better get moving.”
He laughed and walked into the dressing room.

I walked out to the stage, and peeked around the corner.
I saw the fans waiting for the show.
I stepped halfway out and waved at them.
They all smiled and waved, some screaming that they loved me, and others screaming for me to give them a hug.
“How are you guys doing tonight?” I called.
“Awesome!”
“Great! Are your ready for the show?”
“Yeah!”
“Well, I think the boys are due out any second now, so enjoy the show.”

I waved and walked backstage.
The boys were headed on stage.
When Mike walked past me, we exchanged a quick kiss, and a smile.

I flopped myself down on the couch, and sighed.
“What’s up?”
I looked up to see Kellin sitting on the arm of the couch.
“Playing Candy Crush Saga.”
“Fun?”
“Nope. Just nothing else to do.”
“Why aren’t you out there?”
I laughed, “I can’t carry a tune in a wheelbarrow.”
“I don’t buy that. Girls like you usually have some talent, and I’ve seen you dance, so I’m guessing your talent is your voice.”
“Nope. Tonedeaf.”
“Prove it.”
I looked up, “You don’t want me to do that.”
“Oh, I want you to do that.”
I sighed, “What do you want me to sing then?”
“Sing that.” He said.
I nodded my head toward the stage, where Vic was singing Bulletproof Love, “That?”
He nodded, “That.”
“Oh no way. Even if I could sing, I couldn’t sing that.”
“Try.”
I sighed, “Asshole.”
I started to sing quietly.
“I can’t hear you. A-Are you whispering right now? Sing louder.”
I sang a little louder, closing my eyes tightly, so not to see Kellin’s reaction.
“How do you think you’re bad?”
I sighed, “I was in the choir when I was younger.”
He gave me a look.
“Jenna!”
I stood up, “That’s Chris. I gotta go.”

I walked out toward the stage.
“What’s up?!” I called over the music.
“I have to go make a phone call, Mike needs a water, can you?”
I nodded, and got a bottle of water out of the fridge.
I slipped behind the stack of amps, and tip-toed behind him.
I set the water down beside his foot, and patted him on the back.
I walked back around and stood side-stage.
Vic turned and signaled a light wave, and I waved back.

Between songs, Mike looked up and blew me a kiss, which I caught and blew him one in return.
He waved me over, and I slipped behind the stack of amps again, and walked up behind him.
“What’s up?” I asked.
He signaled me to come closer, and then kissed me.
“Having a good show?” I asked.
He nodded, “Yeah.”
“Good, well get back to it.” I said.
“Stay where you are.” He replied.
“Why?”
“Because, I want you to.”
I smiled, and kissed him again, “Okay. Just don’t hit me with any rogue drumsticks.”
He laughed and turned around.
I hoisted myself up on top of the stack of amps, and sat cross-legged, looking out at the crowd.
Tony turned around, and laughed, “What the hell are you doing?”
I shrugged, “Enjoying the show, what does it look like?!”
He motioned for Vic and Jaime to look at me, and they both laughed.
I waved at everyone, smiling.

I sat there for the remainder of the set, singing along, and at one point, I stood up and danced.
At the end, the boys lined up and bowed to the crowd.
After that, Mike walked over and looked up at me, waving for me to jump down.
Without a second thought, I stood up, and leapt off the amp, landing safely in his arms, kissing him.
“Great show babe.” I whispered.
“You obviously had fun.”
I laughed, “That’s the point of the show, to have fun.”
I waved to the crowd, and he carried me backstage.

He set me on my feet, “Nice moves out there by the way.”
I smiled, “Shut up, and kiss me.”
“Next show, we need a pole out there, Jenna’ll give ‘em one hell of a show.” Jaime teased.
I rolled my eyes, “No way in hell, I’m stripping in front of your fans.”
“Mike would never allow it.”
I looked at Mike, who shook his head, “Nope, this is mine and mine only.”
“Someone’s possessive.” Tony said.
“I’m not a man who shares.”
I kissed him, “You don’t have to worry about it, I’m not that kind of girl.”
He smiled against my lips, “Good.”

He picked me up again, and I locked my legs around him, kissing him, “Down boy. We’ve got all night to do that. Let’s not give Jaime the satisfaction.”
He glared to his left at Jaime, who turned and pretended to be interested in his phone.
Mike put me down, and picked up a towel to wipe his face.

I turned and walked into the dressing room, where All Time Low was getting ready to take the stage.
“Have a good show guys.” I said, patting Jack’s back.
“Why don’t you come dance on our amps?” Alex asked.
I smiled, “Because, I’m Pierce The Veil’s groupie, get your own.”
He just laughed.
“Jenna, come on, we’re going to the hotel to get ready, we’re going out tonight!” Mike called.
I grabbed my purse, waved to Alex and Jack, and jogged after the boys.
