"That's nice, baby," I sighed into the phone.

Mike chuckled on the other line, "You didn't listen to a single thing I just said, did you?"

I yawned and laughed, "No. I'm too busy concentrating on work. Want to repeat it for me?"

"There's a present for you at the front desk in your office."

I rolled my eyes as I pushed my chair back so I could stand up, "I swear to god if you sent me flowers again I'm going to kick your ass when you get home."

"You loved my flowers," I could hear the smirk in his voice.

I stood in the elevator and waited for it to hit the bottom floor, "At least you sent me ones other than roses."

"I know you hate roses."

The door to the elevator opened up and I walked into the main lobby, "I see no present."

"Turn around," Mike's voice sounded louder than ever.

I turned and came face-to-face with him, a scream popped out of my mouth and I threw my arms around his neck and gave him a giant hug. He picked me up off the ground and gave me a peck on the lips before setting me back down and grinning. He still had two weeks left on tour, what in the hell was he doing here?

"What are you doing home!" I exclaimed, super excited to see him.

He smiled and cracked his knuckles, "Well, Oli and Vic both ended up getting the flu so it's not like either of us could play. So A Day to Remember is just finishing up the tour and we were able to come home."

"So you're like home home… like you're not home for a few days… you're really home?"

He laughed, "Yes, Rae. I'm really home."

"Oh my god I'm so happy!" I screamed and hugged him again. "Does anyone else know?"

"I don't think Mia knows. Jess knows… Alex… I don't know if Vic told her or not."

"How long did you know about coming home?" I asked while pulling him in the elevator with me.

He smirked, "Vic got sick last Wednesday so I've known since Friday."

"You didn't tell me four days ago when you found out?" I smacked his arm. "You asshole!"

"Ow! Don't hit me I bruise easily!" He whined as he rubbed his arm.

I rolled my eyes and walked out of the elevator, "You're such a baby."

He wrapped his arms around me from behind and placed a kiss on my neck, "You're my baby."

I shoved him off, "Don't start something you can't finish, Fuentes."

"Fuentes?" Alex's voice sounded and I saw her poke her head out from her cubicle. Her eyes widened when she saw Mike. "What the hell are you doing home?"

I laughed, "I said the same thing."

Mike sniffled, "Well Vic's in the hospital so we had to cancel the rest of tour. They don't really know how he's doing and…"

"WHAT!" Alex screamed, everyone in the office had gone silent.

"I'm kidding," Mike laughed. "We did cancel the rest of the tour because him and Oli both have the flu."

"I hate you," she grumbled and went back to what she was doing.

I shook my head and started packing my things up from my desk. I popped my head over to the cubicle directly in front of mine, "Hey, Alec, do you think you can take over for the rest of the day? Mike's home and I'd like to get out a little early."

He smiled up at me, "Yeah that's fine. Have a good afternoon."

"You too," I smiled and then finished packing my bag up. I handed it to Mike, "Be a doll and carry this for your baby?"

"Say the magic words," he smirked.

I rolled my eyes, "Please Daddy." He grinned and took my bag from me. I shook my head and grabbed my purse, "You are such a creep."

We walked outside and towards my car. He had parked a few cars down. He put my bags in the backseat and then pressed me up against my car; one hand next to my head and the other on my waist. He kissed me hard, wasting no time in shoving his tongue into my mouth. The kiss was everything I had wanted since the day he left for tour. It was full of passion, lust, desire, and something I couldn't really put my finger on. Somehow while we were kissing, he was able to sneak his hand up the bottom of my skirt and rub me through the small sheer panties I had on underneath. I pulled my mouth from his, a small moan escaping my lips, and I looked up at him with a smile.

He smiled back at me, "Get Chinese with me for lunch?"

"Of course, baby. I'll follow you there," I pecked his lips and got into my car. I waited for him to leave the parking lot before I started driving. It took us a good fifteen minutes to get to the restaurant, and when we got there my stomach started growling like crazy.

"Hungry?" Mike laughed as we sat down in our booth.

"I'm fucking starving I haven't eaten since last night," I groaned looking over the menu. Everything sounded so good. I wanted to order everything.

He laughed, "You can order as much as you want, Rae. I won't judge you."

"Fuck you," I laughed. "Don't read my mind."

Once we got our food he started to tell me about tour and all the stuff that went on. It sounded like the boys had a really good time, and I was super happy for them. Mike told me a story about how Tony got so trashed he decided to walk into a liquor store with a ski mask on; which had me in tears because I could never expect little innocent Tony to do that.

"I'm so happy I'm home, though," he smiled at me from across the table. "What was it that you wanted to talk to me about, babe?"

I internally slapped myself across the face. I did not want to have this conversation right now, especially when Mike is going to find out who my assistant is, but since I made it seem so urgent on Skype there was no way of getting out of this.

I bit my lip, "This is either going to make us or break us, Mike. I want you to realize that before I say anything else, and I also want you to listen to everything I say. Please don't put your input in until I'm done. It might be a bit to take in, alright." He just nodded and watched me as I spoke, "About two years ago I ended a relationship with a guy I was seeing in college. Jaime and Tony knew him, I think Vic may have met him a few times, but I know you never met him or knew about him. His name was Charlie, and he was one of the sweetest guys I ever met. He treated me like a princess, we never fought once, if I wanted something he'd go get it… he was a total push over and a sweetheart. But, if you ask the guys how Charlie was they'd give you a completely different description."

I took a deep breath, "From the guys viewpoint, he was this monster that fought with me everyday and treated me like shit and didn't support my dreams… That was what I told them. I dated the guy for two years, and he was head over heels in love with me, but I couldn't feel the same. The first six months were great, and then I had enough. He wasn't giving me what I craved anymore, I got bored of him." I took another deep breath, "I cheated on him with at least five different people, Mike. I was the worst girlfriend you could ever imagine. I practically had a fuck buddy relationship with someone for a whole year while I was still with him. I never told Jaime. The only people that knew were Alex and Mia."

I looked at Mike, he had a look on his face that was a mix between pissed off and shocked. I felt tears spring in my eyes, "I finally left him because I felt so bad. He was just so perfect to where it would bother me and bore me so I'd get all pissed off and sleep around and then I'd be upset later because of what I did to him. I already screwed up on you once, back when you went to New York. I haven't done it since, but you have a right to know. I've had people persistently try to get me to sleep with them while you were on tour, and I declined. I don't want to do to you what I did to Charlie. You don't deserve it and I'm willing to put in so much effort to make sure that I don't do this to you, but it's ultimately your decision on whether or not you'll want to be with me after hearing this."

I sat back and took a few deep breaths, trying to stop the tears from pouring out my eyes. He had his head in his hands, looking down at the table. He looked up and his gaze met mine, all I could see in his face was anger. "You talked so much trash about me for sleeping with multiple girls, and you did that behind your own boyfriend's back? Someone that treated you like fucking gold? Are you serious, Rae? Are you fucking serious?"

He shook his head and laughed, "I knew it was all too good to be true. You played some fucking other person, acting like you were such an innocent little girl, when you're nothing but a fucking whore. You didn't even tell Jaime? And you call him your best friend? What kind of person are you, Rae? Because you seem like a piece of shit to me." That one hurt.

I knew he was just getting started, "I can't believe I even fucking tried. I accepted your apology the first time, everyone makes mistakes, but yours are way too much baggage. You're right, I don't deserve it. Just get out of my face, Rae. I need to be away from you. These feelings, whatever we are, it's done."

I nodded and stood up from the booth, grabbing my purse while sniffling. I didn't have the courage to say anything back to him.

"Oh and Rae," he said with an evil grin, "It's back on."
