Come Out Of Your Shell (A Tony Perry One Shot)

I was on my way to go visit Mike. He wanted me to meet the rest of his band. Mike plays drums for Pierce the Veil but he was my best friend before he was a drummer. And he never let me meet the other members before! Of course, I had met Vic. Vic was Mike’s brother and the singer in their band.
So there I was, parking my car outside Mike’s house. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous. What if they didn’t like me?
I walked up to the door and knocked three times. Don’t ask why it was three times but me and Mike did the knock so we knew it was one another. After a minute or so Mike answered, a big grin on his face. He hugged me and I smiled.
"Hey (Y/N)! Ready?"
I nodded and laughed a little. “Sure. Why not.”
He lead me through to the living room where Vic and two others were sitting. They all stood up when I entered the room and I felt like I had just walked into something serious.
"(Y/N) this is Vic, who you know."
I nodded and smiled. “Hey.”
"That’s Jaime."
Jaime grinned at me. “Mike never told me you were hot!”
I blushed and laughed a little.
"He’s a little… Forward." Mike chuckled.
"And that one?" I pointed to the shy looking man covered in tattoos by the couch. To say he was attractive would be an understatement.
"Oh, that’s Tony. He gets shy sometimes. Needs to come out of his shell."
I nodded and smiled at him. “Hi…”
He looked at me and I felt my insides melt to jelly. “Hey (Y/N).”
Mike grinned. “Right. Now you know the gang. Xbox time!” he clapped his hands and rubbed them together.

We played xbox for a while, and when I say we played I mean I whooped their asses on Call of Duty and they didn’t even let me win.
"That’s not fair. You must be cheating!"
Jaime frowned as I killed his character for the tenth time.
I liked Jaime He was funny and cute.
I was sitting on the sofa in between Mike and Tony. Jaime was on the floor by our feet and Vic was taking residence in the chair near the TV.
"I’m not cheating. You’re just crap." I grinned and smiled when I heard Tony chuckle next to me.
"Don’t say that to him. You’ll ruin his pride." He whispered.

A few weeks passed since I met the boys and I talked to them all every day. Today Mike and Tony were coming round for lunch.
I heard a knock on my door, heard it open and I laughed. They’re here.
"(Y/N)! We have arr- Oh my god that food smells good!" Mike grinned, coming over to me and hugging me tight.
"Nice to see you too." I jabbed him in the ribs with a grin and looked at Tony with a smile… "Hey."
"Hey (Y/N)." He bit his lip and looked down.
Mike just laughed at him. “Come on man. Come out of your shell!”
I smiled and went to the kitchen to check on the food. Tony was acting strange. He always does. He’s fine when we text and call but in person he shuts himself in… Did I do something wrong?

Mike’s P.O.V
I knew he liked her. Not only was it obvious but he told me.
"Tell her."
He looked at me, eyes wide. “Are you crazy? No. I can’t do that.”
"Why not?" I sighed. "Tony, you like her. She likes you."
He raised an eyebrow. “How do you know?” He bit his lip. “This is mad. She doesn’t like me.”
(Y/N) walked out of the kitchen. “Who doesn’t like you, Tony? Because I’ll go talk to her. Gotta be mad if she doesn’t like you.”
Tony blushed slightly and looked down. “No one… It’s okay.”
"Oh…" (Y/N) sighed. "Right… okay."

Back to your P.O.V
I sat on the sofa. “Lunch wont be long. Just waiting on the pasta.”
They both nodded and sat down. I looked at Mike. “Can I talk to you for a minute? Alone…”
He raised and eyebrow but nodded. “Yheah… okay.”
We both went to the kitchen and I closed the door.
"What is it?" He asked
"Who does he like…?" All I got was a laugh. "Seriously, Mike… please tell me."
"Why do you want to know? Interested?" He smirked.
"You know I am." I frowned.
He laughed again.
"Mike…."
"You. He likes you (Y/N)."
My eyes widened and I blushed. “Don’t joke with me, Mike Fuentes.”
"I’m not. Ask him yourself."
"No…."
"Fine. I will." He grinned and walked out of the kitchen. "Tony!" He called out and I followed trying to stop him.
"Mike Fuentes, don’t you dare!"
"Tony. She likes you. You like her. Ask her out."
I looked at them both, cheeks burning hot. “Mike. Stop it.”
Tony looked at me. “You… Really?”
I looked down and sighed, looking back at him with a small nod. “Kinda…”
He grinned and sat up straight, looking at me. “Cool… I, uhmm… Kinda like you too.”
Mike grinned. “Told you!”
"Shut up." Me and Tony said in unison.

After our lunch Mike suggested we watch a movie with popcorn.
"I don’t have any…" I sighed. "But we could watch a movie."
"You can’t watch a movie without popcorn (Y/N)." He grinned. "I’ll go to the shop and get some." He wiggled his eyebrows.
I nodded a little. “Fine. Okay. But not salted. That’s disgusting.”
Once he left I sat on the sofa next to Tony. He looked at me and I smiled a little.
"It was a joke, wasn’t it.. You don’t like me… Not in the way I like you."
He frowned slightly and moved closer to me. “I do, (Y/N). I really do…”
He put his hand on top of mine and smiled when I took it.
"I suppose that’s a good thing then." I looked at him. "Because I really do too."
He smiled and slowly snaked his arms around my waist, cuddling me.
I relaxed into the cuddle.
"(Y/N)?"
I turned my head to look at him. “Yheah?”
"Uhmm… Will you be my girlfriend?"
I smiled and nodded a little. “Of course… Yes.”
He grinned and kissed my cheek. “Cool.”
"Well would you look who came out of his shell." Mike grinned from the doorway, arms full of microwavable popcorn bags.
