A few weeks passed, and Magdalynn and Vic were getting closer and closer. They went out on small dates, hung out at his house with all of the guys, and had sleepovers frequently. She was beginning to like him, and her walls were crashing down. He always did the sweetest things for her, and treated her better than any guy ever had. He hadn't pushed sex on her, even though there was an extremely obvious sexual tension between the two of them. Vic could tell that she was beginning to really like him. She became more okay with them holding hands and kissing in public. She seemed really tuned into the things that he liked, and he loved that she paid so much attention to the things that he was saying. But the one thing that he loved about her more than anything was her comfort level around him. She didn't mind being herself. She wasn't painted and perfect all the time. She made it known that she was who she was, and that she wouldn't put an act on for anyone.

Currently, they were in Vic's living room. The couches had all been pushed to the sides of the room, and all of the extra pillows and blankets from his house and her apartment were being strewn around. They were creating a super comfy fort, just like kids. After popping a bowl of popcorn, they snuggled into their little fort, and turned on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotted Mind on his laptop. She snuggled into his side and he kissed her forehead. She rested her hand on his chest and sighed deeply. She loved cuddling with Vic. He squeezed her tight and ran his fingers through her hair. They continued cuddling throughout the movie, and once the credits started rolling, Vic spoke up.

“Magdalynn, what are we?” He rubbed her arm and held her tight.

“What do you mean Vic?” She looked up at him through her eyelashes.

“I mean, what are we? I know you said you don't want to be in a relationship, but I really like you, and I know you really like me. The past couple of weeks have been so amazing. I just really want to be able to call you mine. I think you're beautiful and smart and overall amazing. We barely know each other but you're one of the most perfect girls I've ever met. I don't even know how to explain how much you already mean to me. Please, just give me the opportunity to show you that I can be the best boyfriend in the world”

He squeezed her hand and looked down at her. She had a blank expression on her face, and she was chewing on her bottom lip. Vic's heart was racing, and Magdalynn could feel it beating through his chest. She took a deep breath and let out a sigh with her cheeks puffed out. She knew that they were going to have to address this at some point. She did like him. Every time he kissed her she got butterflies and her heart beat fast. She took one more great big breath before replying to him.

“Alright Vic. I'm ready to try this. I do really like you, and I know that you won't treat me wrong”

Vic's eyes got wide at he had to take a second to make sure that he had heard her right.

“Wait, seriously? You'll be my girlfriend? Oh my God Mag, I didn't think that would work! I was almost positive you were going to say no” He leaned down and kissed her for what seemed like a thousand times. When she had a chance to take a breath, she pulled away from him.

“Yes, I'll be your girlfriend. I think you're really great too babe” She smiled and cuddled into him again. She had a super long day at work, and was ready to get to sleep curled up next to her favorite man.

As Vic woke up the next morning, he couldn't help but smiling with happiness. Magdalynn was laying on his chest. Her lips were lightly parted, and her eyes gently shut. He kissed her lightly on the forehead, and her eyes fluttered open.

“Good morning sweetheart” He whispered smiling down at her.

“Good morning” she yawned and stretched her arms before wrapping them back around Vic and squeezing tight. He thought that this might just be the perfect moment in time.

“What do you wanna do today?” He asked, rubbing her back and playing with the ends of her hair.

“I would love to just lay here all day with you, but I'll feel like such a lazy ass if I do that. I was going to go to the pool at my apartment and tan for a bit today. Do you wanna ask the guys if they want to go swimming?” She rolled off of him and sat up, detangling her hair with her fingers. He nodded and they climbed out of their fort, knocking over couch cushions and blankets in the process.

“We'll clean that up later” Vic winked and headed upstairs to wake up the rest of the boys. “WE'RE GOING SWIMMING MOTHER FUCKERS!” He screamed, filling the house with his voice. One by one, they all came out of their individual rooms, rubbing their eyes and sending middle fingers in Vic's direction.

“C'mon dude, it's like, barely noon!” Jamie said, ruffling his hair and trying to adjust his eyes to the light in the house.

“All the more reason to wake your ass up!” Magdalynn said, laughing at all of them. “Grab your swim trunks, I wanna go swimming”.

Eventually, and with a lot of prodding, everyone was ready to leave. They took two cars, because all the boys were being whiny about having to sit in the back all squished together. They arrived at Magdalynn's apartment quickly. After she ran in to change and grab a towel, they all headed to the pool in the middle of the apartment complex. Thankfully, since it was the middle of the week, there weren't many people at the pool. Magdalynn laid down her towel on a chair and slathered herself in tanning oil while all the guys dived in. It wasn't long, however, until Vic and Mike had picked her up and dumped her into the pool.

“Ooh, I'm gonna get you guys for that one! She said, splashing water in their direction. Jamie decided that he wanted to play chicken. He climbed onto Mike's shoulders, and Vic jumped onto Tony's. Magdalynn sat on the pool's edge, watching as they battled. After a short time, Jamie won, and Vic pouted about how he only won because he was bigger. They continued to splash and play around for a couple hours until everyone decided that they were hungry. They all headed up to Magdalynn's apartment to dry off and change before heading out for dinner. They finally settled on going to In-and-Out Burger. The boys each devoured about double what Magdalynn did, and she laughed at their sloppy eating style.

“Sooooo, who wants to get drunk tonight?” Mike asked looking at everyone. The guys all voiced agreement.

“Sorry fellas, I have to open tomorrow morning” Magdalynn said, glancing at the time on her phone. “I should actually get headed home anyways” She stood up from the table.

“Noooo, come drink with us!” Jamie put on his best puppy dog eyes. “You don't even have to drink that much!”

Magdalynn made a face, weighing the pros and cons in her head. “Fine, but I'm not drinking much at all. I can't show up to work hungover again. My boss will kill me”.

Vic smiled in her direction. He was glad that she was getting along with his friends. His ex, Raychelle, didn't get along with them at all. They had practically banned her from entering the house because of how much of a bitch she was. After they all stood and threw away their trash, Vic wrapped an arm around Magdalynn's waist as they walked to the cars.

“I'm glad you're going to come over again tonight babe” He whispered in her ear.

“Of course. I can't deny Jamie's puppy dog eyes. And, I wanna cuddle with you. Your bed is so much more comfortable than mine is” she winked at him, and he let out a huge smile. “We have to stop by my apartment. I need pajamas and my work clothes for tomorrow”.

“That's fine. We can head over there while the guys go to the liquor store”.

Everyone got in their cars. Tony, Jamie, and Mike headed to the liquor store, while Magdalynn and Vic headed over to her apartment. She grabbed a pair of lace booty shorts and a low cut tank top to sleep in, and packed up her work clothes and makeup in a small backpack. They got back into the car and headed to the house. They beat everyone else there, which meant the guys were going to make tonight crazy. Vic and Magdalynn went inside and cleaned up the mess from their fort. Everyone else walked in just as they were finishing putting the cushions back on the couch. They had quite a bit of alcohol for five people. One handle of Captain Morgan, a huge bottle of Grey Goose, and the biggest bottle of Jagermeister that their local liquor store sold. Jager was Magdalynn's favorite drink. She knew at that point that she was going to get beyond wasted tonight.
