The Academy

The Epitome of A Living Hell

“Back to hell.” I groaned, walking into highschool with my best friend.

“I’d feel better if they just shot me.” Cassie said.

“Exactly.” I agreed with her.

We arrived in the cafeteria when our guy friend Taylor came running over to us.

“You are not going to believe what’s going on first hour.” He panted.

“Spill.” Cassie demanded.

“Motionless in White is coming in to do a presentation.” He squealed.

“No way.” I said.

They were my favorite band in the entire world. I looked up to these guys as my heros and they’ve never let me down whereas most other things have.

“Yes way and I’ve heard that they also came here looking for a certain someone.” Taylor informed us.

“School just got a bit more interesting.” I said with a sly smile on my face.

Suddenly the bell rang and then from across the room I saw Josh Balz get up on the table and Ryan Sitkowski stood up next to him.

“Listen up people, we need everyone to come into the gym. Boys will enter the left and girls will come through the right. If you’re under 18 you’ll sit on the left side of your gender’s side and if you’re 18 or over you’ll sit on the right side of your gender’s side.” Balz screamed.

Within the masses Cassie and I were pushed with the crown until we finally made it into the gym. We parted ways with Taylor and then we went to go and sit on the left side of the girl’s side of the gym. About 10 minutes everyone was settled down and one more surprise came through the door. Danny Worsnop walked in.

“All guys need to come with me!” Danny screamed.

Instantly all of the guys got up and exited the gym, Danny being the last one out. Then the rest of MIW came out into the gym. Ghost, Ricky, and Chris came out and joined Balz and Ryan on the court.

“What the hell’s going on?” Cassie whispered, concern in her voice.

“I don’t know, but I’m starting to get a weird feeling about this.” I told her.

“All girls that are 18 or over I need you to follow Balz out.” Chris announced to everyone.

Right then and there about 100 girls got up and left, leaving around 250 other girls. Cassie, Taylor and I attended a pretty small school.

“If you’re a virgin I need you to leave and follow the other girls out.” Chris continued.

“Wait, what the hell does that have to do with anything? Where are our teachers anyways?” I stood up and asked.

“I don’t think I asked you to ask questions, I said if you’re a virgin get up and follow the other girls.” Chris screamed back at me.

I sat down in shock, I instantly got the feeling that something was not right anymore. Why were Motionless in White even at our school in the first place, and why in the hell were they asking girls under 18 if they were virgins or not. Something wasn’t adding up right.

“Bella, I have to go.” Cassie told me.

“They won’t know, Cas. It was an accident you told me.” I replied.

“Well they seem to know a lot and I really don’t want to mess with them.” She admitted.

She along with about 150 other girls got up and left. Sure we had a small school, but apparently we had a lot of curious young girls.

“Who knows what a dom or a sub is?” Ricky asked.

That was it, I’d heard enough. I stood up and ran down the bleachers and straight out the gym door leading into the cafeteria. I made a dash straight to the office and only found one secretary there, looking terrified as she sat at her desk.

“Where are the guys, and girls that just called out?” I demanded to know.

“Everyone got sent to their classroom.” She basically cried.

“Thank you.” I screamed, exiting the office and running straight to the math hallway where I knew Cassie and Taylor had geometry right now.

Once I got down to the math hall I arrived at their class’ door and opened it. Inside I was shocked to see what was there. Each student was sitting at their desk, blindfolded, and handcuffed to the bars on the underside of the desk.

“Bella, get out of here now!” Taylor yelled from the back of the class, next to Cassie.

I ran over to them and took of their blindfold, but couldn’t take of the handcuffs because I didn’t have the key.

“Bella, it’s not just MIW and Danny.” Cassie panted out, obviously exhausted from something.

“Who’s here?” I questioned her.

“All of MIW as we’ve learned, everyone from Asking Alexandria, but they keep talking about a few other bands that are present.” She told me.

“Find a bobby pin, and get us out.” Taylor commanded.

“There’s one in my backpack.” I told him.

“Great, where’s your backpack?” He wondered.

“Across the school, and upstairs.” I groaned, realizing it would be quite the challenge to get it, if the rumors were true of other band members roaming around.

“Don’t bother, it looks like our heros are going to kill us, you might as well not fall into their trap.” Cassie said.

“No way, I’m not just going to let them come in here and do this, especially to you.” I said.

“That’s a suicide mission Bells.” Taylor scolded me.

“Does it look like I care?” I asked getting up and sneaking over to the door.

“Don’t do this, but if you do, please be safe.” Cassie told me with a pleading look on her face.

Without saying another word I carefully walked out of the room and shut it silently behind it. I stealthily ran across the floor barefoot so that no one would hear me. I finally got to the main foyer and I had to quickly go and hide behind a pillar once I saw Ben Bruce walking my way with Ricky Horror.

“Mate when we find her, we’ll have hit the jackpot.” Ben told Ricky.

I wondered who they were talking about. Was it possibly the same person that Taylor had mentioned they were trying to find.

“Running was the worst possible thing for her to do.” Ricky chuckled.

I gasped in realization that they were talking about me, but I quickly covered my mouth when I noticed that they had heard my gasp.

“Hello?” Ben called out, in that voice that I had once respected.

“Baby Bella.” Ricky called out.

Shit. They knew it was me. I had to get out and now. Taking a deep breath in I gathered my thoughts and then sprinted away from the main foyer and back towards the math room where Cassie and Taylor were.

“James she’s running towards you, make sure you get her!” Ben yelled into a walkie talkie.

I pushed myself as hard as possible to run as fast as I could and when I finally got to the math wing my lungs were killing me and I felt like dying. Suddenly I turned behind me and saw James Cassels running full speed ahead at me.

“Come on sweetheart, stop running!” James panted.

That’s when an idea popped into my head. I slowly stopped and came to a standstill against the wall next to a fire extinguisher.

“Please don’t hurt me.” I fake cried.

“I won’t hurt you, and either will anyone else. We just don’t want you to run and get yourself hurt.” James told me.

“I promise I won’t run. I’m so sorry, I’m just scared.” I fake fretted.

“It’ll all be okay, love.” James said, finally stepping close enough so that I could feel his breath down my neck.

“I know it will.” I whispered back into his ear.

He looked at me with a confused face and that’s when I grabbed the fire extinguisher and brought it down over his head. James was out within seconds. Quickly looking around I saw that no one else was around, so I quickly grabbed a hold of James’ arms and dragged him back into Taylor and Cassie’s math room.

“You bad ass.” Taylor complimented me as I walked into the room.

I looked over at him and quickly realized that no one was handcuffed anymore.

“You got out.” I cheered.

“Yeah and he got knocked out.” Cassie stated, pointing to James’ limp body.

“There was actually a bobby pin of the floor and we just so happened to be able to reach it. Cassie got out first and then she got us all out. Thinking of staying safe though, we should probably handcuff him.” Taylor said.

We agreed and then they let me drag James over to a pole on the ground and handcuff him there so that he couldn’t get up and drag whatever he was handcuffed to.

“Guys someone is coming!” Chance, our school’s quarterback yelled with fear obvious in his eyes.

“Barricade the door.” I instructed.

Chance along with a few other sports players went to go and blockade the door when suddenly the window was shattered open and Ryan Sitkowski along with Cameron Liddell hopped in through the window. Taylor automatically pushed me and Cassie behind him.

“Chance, get off the door, our best shot it to run out of there.” I screamed.

Instantly Chance and the guys let the barricade down and the 25 of us all ran out of the room only to find ourselves surrounded. Ryan and Cameron on one side. Ricky and Ben on the other side. Ghost and Sam to the left of us, and finally completely blocking us off was Balz and Danny.

“Shit.” Cassie whispered.

Out of nowhere Chance stepped forward and got right in Danny’s face.

“You might want to step down mate before things get ugly,” Danny snarled.

“You’re not touching or even looking at these girls, especially Bella of all people. She’s too pure for that.” Chance growled back at him.

“Chance” I started to say but was quickly silenced by Taylor.

“For a pure girl, she’s got quite the taste in men and music.” Ben chuckled.

“Watch it, your friend in their learned his lesson the hard way.” I warned him.

“No need for the hostility children, why don’t we discuss things like proper adults and get ourselves situated in a professional setting.” Chris suggested, looking scary as ever basically appearing from nowhere.

“I think we’ll just go and let you go on your own merry way.” Taylor told him.

“You four either willingly start walking to the conference center, or I’ll let my guys get a little more touchy.” Chris threatened Chance, Taylor, Cassie, and I.

I turned to Taylor since he was my exact height and whispered “When I fall down, you, Chance, and Cassie make a run for it.”

He nodded in understanding. I then closed my eyes and fell flat on my back, pretending to have passed out. It hurt like a bitch. The next thing I heard were heavy boots running across the floor away from me. When I no longer sensed anyone around me I got up and ran to where I had left the fire extinguisher. I picked it up and started to run to where I heard what sounded like fighting happening. I reached the gym main foyer and that’s where I saw all of Cassie and Taylor’s math class trying to fight against Motionless in White and Asking Alexandria. This was the epitome of a nightmare.

Suddenly something sharp and cold pierced into my back and my whole body froze. I collapsed on the floor and looked up. Standing over me was Mike Fuentes of Pierce the Veil.

“I thought you’d be more happy to see me.” Mike stated.

I tried to move or even roll over but nothing was working, it was as if Mike had shut down every function of my body. He swooped down and picked me up and that’s when I saw Taylor and Chance try to run and get me. Chance was tackled by Ghost and Taylor by Ben. As Mike carried me further and further away from the foyer I suddenly notice where Cassie was. She was in the hands of Ricky, being carried out the same way as me. She was in the same predicament as me, she couldn’t talk or move.

What started off as a good day, soon turned into the epitome of a living hell.
