Welcome to the New Age

We are currently battling a horde of demons off. Oh, did I forget to mention? I suppose I did. We are in the past. We travel half a millenia or so into the past. Where we try to repair the jewel that Kagome shattered on accident. Technically, it wasn't even her fault. She had shot an arrow with the leg of a crow yokai back at the owner of said leg. Long story short, the Jewel increases a yokai's already incredibly rapid regenerating ability like tenfold. And so when the leg reconnected with the three eyed crow's body, the arrow pierced the jewel ans shattered it into many pieces. We are not sure how many since we have only found about ten I believe.
The jewel shard that we find are placed in a glass bottle Kagome wears around her neck. Well, most anyway. I wear an identical one with half the shards in it. I mask it's presence so none will try to take it. e already have enough trouble. I know I am in possession of a jewel because when Kagome's was bitten out of her side, mine responded with a wave of aura. It came pulsing from my side. It was a strange sensation.
Anyway, back to the present. InuYasha dodges the large Onii's hand. He leaps up and chops it's head off with the Tetsusaiga, the great fang of Inu No Taisho. Kagome and I pulled it out together, though we hadn't known it at the time. Anyway, veering off track again. I hate that I think about the past a lot when I'm in a battle. I jump out of the way to avoid getting killed. As usual, InuYasha abandons us. I'm telling you, Kikyo has him wrapped around her pinky; h's a whipped dog. I'm so going to kill him after he gets back. Bastard left us to kill a horde of yokai and hurt and continues to hurt Kagome.
I hear Shippo scream in pain. Shit. Kagome and my eyes lock. We both have the same expression on our face: fear. We bolt for him, purifying any demons in our way. We get to him just in time.I let out my miko aura while Kagome protects him. One) I am sooo not dying until after I get to go to the concert, Two) I'm also not dying until I get to go on Warped Tour (we already have the tickets and it's the first year that they are coming to Japan), and Third) No on and I mean NO ONE hurts my son. Kagome and my adopted son that is. My miko energy washes over the area in waves. I make sure it reaches far enough to singe that little Inu hanyo bastard.
I'm going to rip his dog ears off when he gets back. My miko aura purifies all the yokai in range. I'm soo going to enjoy making him sit. I go over to Kagome and put my hand on her shoulder. I check Shippo over. He was just knocked out thankfully. "I'm sorry InuYasha left us again. You have to knw he's no good for you Kagome. All he does is hurt you over and over again. I'm beginning to think he finds pleasure in it." Kagome looks at me sadly.
"I know. It's just...my heart is still kind of clinging to him." i igh.
"I promise you'll find the one you're destined for. I'll make sure of it sis." I say as I ruffle her white and blue hair. Kags huffs but grins.
"Deal."
"Now, let's go back to our campsite and wait for InuYasha. I have a few things to say to his ass." I say darkly. Kagome just giggles and nods.
