Worlds Over, Time to Die. Nothing Left but our Souls Inside.

It's been a few months since I've written in here but with all that's been happening, I need someone... something to talk to.

My family is broken. I am broken. I thought coming here, finding Kate... I thought it was all a godsend but all of my love and hope for this rotten world was snatched from me when my wife said they were gone. I've cried most of the nights just to make sure I'm still feeling but with all that is going on in my life as well as the group's life has been all too much.

Danielle apparently cheated on Vic with Mike which cause a huge rift between the two girls as well as the brothers. Jaime has been distant from everyone and his girlfriend has tried her hardest to be the peacemaker but her attempts yielded little to no results.

I felt for everyone and I had to stay mostly strong for my family. Katelynn has tried to hold her emotions in for Liam as best she can but she mumbles sad things in her sleep. Liam is a completely different kid. I don't think he'll ever be the same.

This group was a mess. We needed to get our shit together because at this rate, the zombies aren't gonna be the ones we need to worry about killing us.

"I'm going out to see if there's anything out there, food water.. supplies... if anyone wants to come with me." I said hesitantly. I looked around and saw Tony hop up with his sister, guns in hand. I nodded to them, took one last look around the tense group and left.

"This has really gone to shit, hasn't it?" Rebecca said quietly and both Tony and I nodded sadly.

"Everyone just needs to stop doing stupid things to each other. I think the only ones who actually have each other in this are Jess and Hime." Tony said and I agreed. While they were distant from each other, we all knew they were the most secure with themselves. Afterall, they had been with each other since high school.

We talked quietly to each other, keeping most things light and skirting around all of the real problems we were facing but we were okay with that.


At the end of the 'hunt' we got a small buck, two rabbits and found an old shelter with some canned goods to bring back. At least we would all be able to eat for a few days.

We got back to my house and the energy around it screamed ' a fight is gonna happen'

Everyone looked so close to ripping each others throats out. Three of us looked at everyone and hesitantly announce our coming back. No one moved an inch, no glances not even a flinch of a finger was seen in this tense house. Maybe something happened while we were gone? It definitely wasn't this bad when we left.

Tony and I walked back out to clean the buck for dinner while Rebecca got everything else done inside. The air around us, around the whole house felt so thick.

After all that, we brought dinner in and sectioned it off to be cooked. We rationed it out so we could get two meals out of it.

I was scared to tell everyone that dinner was ready and I think Becks picked up on it because she confidently yelled it so everyone throughout the house could hear. Out of every room, they trickled out exchanging bitter glances to one another and grabbed their plates, sitting at the table to eat.

"It's gonna be a long night." Tony mumbled to himself and I nodded in agreement.


After a tense half hour I could see Vic mumbling something to Danielle, he gradually got louder and louder until all our attention was aimed towards them.

Danielle sat there, blank stare on her face but you could see the anger flush through her body. We all started to tense up at Vic's angry plea's for her to tell him what was wrong. He cared for her so much even after the shit she did. It's weird how he'll somehow forgive her for what she did but not his own brother.

"I'M PREGNANT, OKAY?! WAS IT SO FUCKING HARD TO WAIT UNTIL I WAS READY TO SAY ANYTHING? YOU FUCKING BASTARD." Danielle yelled and like a cartoon, all our jaws dropped. We looked between the seething now-pregnant girl and the bewildered boyfriend(?)

In that very moment something changed. The air felt a tad bit lighter yet heavier in a different way.

I don't think any of us knew what to do and soon I saw Katelynn get up and take an angry sobbing Danielle to a different room and Vic collapsed into his own chair, mumbling to himself with a crazy stare.

I think it's time to put the journal down for now. We need to sort this shit out now.

Why hello there lovelies! Quite the bomb drop here.. I'll let whomever make their predictions on who the father is but damn, even I myself am shocked.
