Worlds Over, Time to Die. Nothing Left but our Souls Inside.

It's day 3 of this disaster, and our group has been passing around this journal thing and Vic's been telling everyone to record their thoughts. I'm going to introduce myself before anything else; My name is Alysha Nett, I am Mike's girlfriend. I was a model before all of this went down. I'm currently 26, and I'm from Kansas originally. You want my thoughts?
Holy hell, what happened?
The day after the Self-Help celebration, the world turned upside down- literally. As I'm writing this, the whole group, with the exception of Erin and the ones we already lost, is huddled in a storage unit we stumbled upon. We're all trying to get some sleep, but I can't. How could I? In the past three days, I've seen people ripped apart by these monsters, my best friend has gone missing, and I know nothing about the world outside of California, which means God only knows what could be happening to my family.
Mike is sleeping. So are Vic, Danielle, and Tony's family, except Tony. Kellin, Jaime, and I are the only ones awake. Kellin and Jaime are keeping look out for those retched beasts that we saw. I'd explain exactly what happened that day, but I'm sure you already know if you've been reading this journal.
This morning we were on the road, but no luck escaping Cali....all the roads are blocked with cars and the whole universe seems to be ringing with the screams of the scared and dying. We found this storage unit early today and have been using it as a shelter to regroup and make survival plans. It's become clear that our lives will never be the same again.
Vic's taken on the role as leader, which I can already tell is starting to piss Mike off. He gave everyone jobs and shifts. As of right now, we still have running water, but we are without electricity. Clean water is a limited resource, so we've been collecting it in bottles and saving it for when we really need it. We all have our own jobs, too.
My job, since I can run pretty well, is to collect supplies and weapons for defeating these crazed zombie-things. Vic is the leader, so he and Danielle come up with our next moves, escape routes, and are on top of figuring out what kills these things. Jaime, Mike, Kellin, Jessica, and Justin are in charge of fighting the beasts and protecting the rest of the group, since they're all natural fighters. Tony's main concern for the moment is finding Erin.... he hasn't been able to think about much else. As for Mama and Papa Fuentes (who were with us at the Perry's), they're responsible for helping make sure everyone is healthy and calm. Mrs. Claudia- Tony's mom- is keeping his sisters together and away from any trouble. The other two boys, Nick and Jack, are recruiters. They go out and find people who can join our group and help out.
This whole thing is a mess, but I know in my heart that at least most of us will make it out alive. We have to.
