I Introduce The Selfish Machine

I followed Tony to the basement in Vic's house. The walls were white and padded, causing the room to be soundproof. It wasn't as run down and messy as I thought it would be. When we walked in, I saw all the other members of Pierce The Veil packing up their equipment.
"Hey Tony...Hey, Piper." Jaime said to us. I smiled slightly and waved at Jaime.
"What's going on?" Tony asked. I looked up at his face to see that confusion covered it.
"We got booked a string of shows last minute and we have to leave within the hour to make it to Washington." Vic said, not looking up from the cords he was packing. "We already got your guitar so you can go home and pack, just be back as fast as you can."
For the first time since I can remember, I wrapped my arm around Tony's. I sighed deeply. I didn't want him to go. It made me feel sad thinking about him being gone for so long.
Tony turned and looked down at me. "Piper, I'm sorry. I really didn't know about this." He said, lacing his fingers with mine.
I didn't pull away.
"No, it's okay Tony. Things like this happen." I said. I started to feel really sad.
He moved a hand up to my face, using his thumb to push my hair back. "Hey, are you okay?"
Then, I said something I never thought I would say to a man ever in my life.
"I'm gonna miss you, Tony."
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Vic, Jaime, and Mike just stop moving. They were all staring at me, like I just said I held the cure to cancer. Apparently it was very well known how bitter I actually am.
"Are you really?" He asked. I nodded my head. I really didn't want him to go. I enjoyed his company so much and I just liked being around him.
Vic spoke up, making their little huddle not seem so awkward. "I mean, Piper can come with us if she wants. She's small enough to sleep on the couch, we may even have an extra bunk."
Tony and I both turned to Vic. "Really?" I asked.
"It would be pretty cool if you went." Mike said.
I looked back at Tony.
"So, what do you say, Piper Lynn? You want to go on tour with Pierce The Veil?" Tony asked me.
I smiled at him. "Hell yeah I do."
