"I don't know why Jaime has to act like this." I stated to Vic as we walked through random stores through the mall.
"Are you serious?" Vic laughed "Ava, Jaime has the hots for you, and he always has."
"Oh yeah, I remember just how much he had the hots for me when I told him how much I liked him two years ago, and then he told me how he felt the same way then slept with some random chick on your couch." I replied getting a little angry.
"That's when you met Adam." Vic stated as if he was just realizing this. "That's why Jaime always said how this was all his fault.:
"It was my fault for thinking Jaime and I were anything but best friends, and I won't be making that mistake ever again." I sighed
"Ava, I know how screwed up this whole thing is, but there's a reason for everything."
"I know, Vic. Believe me, I know."
"Do you still have feelings for Adam?" Vic coughed as we stopped at Starbucks for a drink.
"I dated him for two years, Vic."
"Because of Jaime."
"At first it was because of Jaime, but eventually I did fall for him."
"You didn't answer his question." I heard someone say from behind me, causing Vic and I to face him.
"Who are you?" Vic asked pulling me next to him.
"I'm still waiting for her response to your question." he stated. He was built just like Jaime, except he had clean cut blonde hair and very dark green eyes, but he didn't look familliar at all.
"I think my question should be answered first." Vic replied now stadning in front of me, getting close to this guy.
"I think, you don't have a say in this." He said matching his tone with Vic.
"I think we shouldn't make a scene in Starbucks." I chimed in pushing them both apart. "You tell us who you are, and why my answer is so important, and I'll give you my answer."
"I'm one of Adams boys, I think that speaks for itself." He replied.
"One of his boys? What is this? A cheap lifetime movie?" Vic laughed
"I have no feelings for Adam left, and you can tell him, that he can stop acting like some gang lord and get answers for himself instead of sending someone that I could take to do it for him." I stated as Vic and I started to walk away.
"He also told me to give you a message. 6, 24, 10." and with that he walked away.
"What did he mean by that?" Vic asked
"I have no idea." I replied wondering myself.
"Where have you guys been, you've been out for hours?" Mike laughed pausing the movie he was watching with Jaime and Tony as soon as we walked through the door.
"Yeah, I tried calling you guys and letting you know we got everything but no one cared to answer." Jaime replied sounding a little annoyed.
"We ran into one of Adams "boys". Vic stated plopping down next to the guys on the couch.
"What, what happened?" Jaime asked the worry fillinf his voice.
"He wanted to know if I still had feelings for Adam, and then gave me a message from him, but it was just three numbers, so I don't even know."
"What were the numbers?" Tony questioned adjusting himself on the couch.
"6, 24, 10" Vic said
"What the fuck is the relevance to that?" Mike asked as we all sat down in silence thinking of what it could possibly mean.
"What if it was a date, June 24, 2010" Tony stated
"That was just last year, we were on Warped... first time we left Ava home without us." Mike replied non chalantly
"Didn't you and JAime get into some sort of fight in the middle of June about staying home... oh shit." Vic sighed.
"That was when Adam put you in the hospital when you told him how upset you were over me." Jaime replied scooting closer to me on the couch.
"He told me if I kept going on about you, it would happen more often, and if you ever came between us, it would get worse." I sank back into the couch.
"Oh my God this is a shitty lifetime movie." Vic chuckled pushing a pillow into his face.
"We don't need your sass right now, Vic." Mike said shoving his brother.
"Well obviously, he's not going to get anywhere near you, Avam not with us around."
"No onw ia getting into anything because of me, no one deserves that." I replied "I should just leave, lay low for awhile."
"You're not fucking seirous, right?" There's no way in hell I'm letting you go again, Ava. This was my fault to begin with if I hadn't..."
"Jaime, the past is in the past." I sighed
"Seriously, we don't even need a TV." Vic stated.
"Vic!" Tony said a little too harshly
"Look, all I'm saying is I'm calling his bluff." Vic replied
"I think we shouldn't just in case, lets just see how the next few days go, alright?" Mike responded glaring at his brother.
"I'm so sorry, Ava." Jaime sat with his head in his hands as everyone exited the room to go to their own thing.
"None of this is your fault."
"You would have bever met him if I didn't sleep with that girl."
"A lot would be different if you didn't do that, but I guess everything happens for a reason."

"I certainly hope we meant it in the same way or else I would feel like a pretty big idiot."
