They All Accept The Lie

"You're not the only one! You wake up, drink, go to work, drink, come home, drink, and yell, and hit, and I'm sick of it all. It's over Adam." I yelled back matching my voice with his.
"Oh you think you're going to end this relationship? I ended this relationship when I began to cheat on you three years ago." Adam yelled backing me up against a wall. "Worthless bitch." He spat as he slapped me in the face, and made his way upstairs throwing all my shit outside the door of it as I just slid down the wall beginning to cry. After crying for what felt like hours, I finally calmed myself down enough to grab my cell phone and dial my best friends number.
"Ava, baby, what's crackin!" I heard his voice ring as he answered the phone followed by the rest of the guys yelling my name.
"Preciado, how's it going?" I asked smiling slightly at hearing my best friends voice.
"It's going alright, we just got home a few hours ago from tour, Ava, are you okay? You sound pretty shaken up." Jaime asked lowering the tone of excitement in his voice.
"I um, Adam and I.."
"What the fuck did that bastard do now? I swear to God, Ava, if he hit you again I'm coming over there right now and beating his ass."
"We're done, Jaime. We got into a huge arguement and he um, let me know that he's been cheating on me for the last three years, and um I um.."
"I'm coming to get you now, have your things packed." Jaime finsihed hanging up the phone.
"Ava" Jaime whispered when I opened the front door to let him in. He brought his hand up to the bruise forming on my face as I flinched away slightly, making eye contact with Tony standing behind him giving me a soft smile.
"Ava, what have you gotten yourself into." Tony said giving me a hug.
"Can we just get out of here?" I replied grabbing one of my bags trying to blink back some of the tears threatening to fall.
"Not until I kill Adam." Jaime said as the look on his face began to go cold.
"Jaime, he's not even worth it, I just want to leave okay?" I said pushing Jaime back away from the stairs.
"You're telling me a guy, who has been abusing my best friend for over a year now, and has been cheating on her for three years, is not worth it? To fuck it's not." Jaime said beginning to yell.
"Don't yell at me, Jaime. I've been through enough of that tonight." I replied walking out the front door and getting into his car. A few minutes passed and I heard shouting, and Tony yelling that was enough. Soon enough they both walked out of the house, Jaime with almost no scratches to be found on him, except for his knuckles that were bleeding quite a lot.
"Feel better?" I asked sarcastically.
"A lot actually, thanks." Jaime mumbled he knew how much I hated violence, esspecially because of what happened between Adam and I.
"Because violence is the answer to everything." I mumbled back turning my head to watch the trees pass by as we drove to the home the boys all shared.
"Not right now, Ava." Jaime spoke as Tony put his hand on my shoulder from the back seat giving it a quick squeeze.
"Ava!" Vic yelled as we all walked silently through the front door of their home.
"Victor!" I yelled back as he engulfed me in a hug.
"Babe, your face." Vic said softly kissing it softly. "You left that asshole, right?"
"Right." I smiled giving him another quick hug. "I won't invade your space for long, I promise. I'll begin looking at places in the morning."
"Fuck no you're not, we haven't seen you since last year because of all the touring, you better believe you're staying here for more than just a few days, we missed you, Ava." Vic grinned handing me a water bottle out of the fridge.
"I don't mind sleeping on the couch, I know you guys only have enough bedrooms for the each of you and I'm not letting any of you take the couch." I replied
"You can't share a bed with your best friend?" Jaime whispered hugging me from behind.
"That depends, is my best friend going to be violent?" I asked still slightly mad at him.
"You're fucking joking, right?" Jaime said pissed as he turned me around to face him. "You honestly have to ask if I'm going to be violent because I beat the shit out of your psycopath of an ex boyfriend? I don't give a shit how you feel about violence, Ava. He deserved it and you know it. I've never hurt you in my entire life, or even come remotely close to hurting you, I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've ever even fought with you other than when you told me Adam hit you the first time over a year ago!" Jaime added getting louder.
"I'm sorry" I said softly turning away. I knew I couldn't keep getting onto him about it, because of how stubborn he is.
"I'm sorry too, Ava." Jaime said turning me back around and engulfing me in another hug as Vic smiled shaking his head and leaving the kitchen. "So are you really going to stay on the couch?"
"I don't think I'd mind sharing a bed with my best friend." I smiled softly as Jaime led me up to his room where my bags were already slightly unpacked, Jaime throwing me a pair of his boxers and the tank top I always sleep in to change into.
