*Time Lasp: One Week Later*

I got up and ready. I looked in the mirror and shook my head in disgust. “Sam, your friends from school are here.” My grandmother said from behind the closed door. “Okay, I’ll be down in a minute.” I sighed and opened my door. I walked downstairs and noticed Tony and Jamie standing in my living room stuffing their faces with my grandmother’s pancakes.

“Save some for her!” She scolded the two boys who had huge smiles plastered on their faces. “I’ll pass.” I scrunched up my nose in disgust and grabbed an apple. I don’t really care for eating because all that was in food was calorie after calorie.

“Okay Hun. I have a doctor’s appointment at 5:30 so you’ll have to be home alone for at least two hours.” She smiled at me. “Okay. I love you.” I kissed her forehead and walked out after Jamie and Tony.

“You must really love her.” Tony said while slowing his pace for me to catch up. “I do, I mean she’s the only one who actually loved me for me.” I felt tears well up in my eyes as I remembered when my parents kicked me out. “Sam, can you tell us what’s wrong?” Jamie demanded worriedly. “My parents never really were there for me and since she’s 81 she has to take care of me and her and I don’t think that’s fair to her.” I wiped my eyes.

“Hey she loved you enough to take you in.” Tony hugged me. “It’s that I know she’s going to die soon or that’s what the doctors keep telling me.” I looked up at him with sad eyes. “You’ll be okay.” He wrapped his arms around me and spun me around.

“God I swear you two act like a couple and it’s only been a week.” Jamie rolled his eyes and got on the bus.

“Shut your mouth Preciado.” I glared and sat down in my seat. I plugged my headphones in and started listening to Black Veil Brides because they’re an amazing band. I felt someone tapping on my shoulder. I broke my gaze from outside and looked at Tony.

“Yes?” I asked. “I was wondering…If you…Would like…To….I don’t know…” He blushed and looked down. “If I what?” I looked at him confused. “You see there’s this band that’s supposed to be really freaking good and I was wondering if you would I don’t know maybe like to go to the concert with me?” He was nervous. “If I say yes what would you do?” I asked while turning off my music.

“I would be happy.” He smiled. “Okay then yes I’ll go to the concert with you.” I gave a quick smile then left the bus to get to Math before anyone else did. No I wasn’t in trouble, I just had a lot of shit that had to be done.

I walked in and noticed we had a sub today. I sat my stuff down and started working on my homework since I got distracted with things that had more importance like taking care of my grandmother.

“There’s our little Sammy bear!” Mike smiled and hugged me. “You saw me 30 minutes ago.” I shook my head and continued to work while they sat down. “Okay seem like we’re going to have a sub so let’s hope this goes well.” Jamie said while poking me with a pencil. “If you want to live long enough to start that band you want to so badly I’d stop poking me.” I smiled as sweetly as I could causing him to pout and put his pencil on his desk.

I tried to pay attention but with the lack of sleep I’ve been getting because of my grandmother needing constant attention it’s been hard to stay awake in my classes. “Tony, wake me up 10 minutes before class ends.” I put my head down and fell asleep.

*Tony’s POV*

I watched as she fell asleep. You could tell something wasn’t right with her. She was all skin and bones. Her red and black hair fading to her natural blackish brown hair. She was a beautiful girl, but she was hiding something. I tried to pay attention to the lesson but she was just so distracting.

“Tony do you have a crush on a certain Sam?” Mike smirked at me. “Shut up before I tell your brother that you’re smoking pot at my house on the weekends.” I threatened.

“He already knows.” He laughed and went back to talking to Jamie about stupid shit. “I think you have a crush on her dude. You get all nervous around her; I’ve never seen you like this.” Jamie stated. He’s right I never got really nervous around girls especially not ones like Sam.

I sighed and started writing down random shit. I noticed her mouth something out of the corner of my eye. I didn’t pay attention to it until she started to say it louder. “Leave him the fuck alone.” I gently woke her up.

“Sam you were starting to talk really loud.” I rubbed her back. She nodded and passed out again. I knew that her grandmother was sick or that’s at least what my mother tells me. “Tony!” I heard the voice that would make the devil himself hide behind his throne. It was my ex Stephanie.
