Tony's POV
Ever since that day at the skate park, Melodee and I have been so close. It's nice knowing you can have a friend you can trust. I never expected us to be friends, but now we are.

"Turtle... Earth to turtle.... What are you thinking about?" Melodee said sounding concern.

We were at the beach. We always came here to relax and forget about problems, even if we didn't bother talking much, we enjoyed each others company.

"Oh nothing."I laid on my back and she did too, and she rest her head in my chest.

"Are you sure? You seem a little bummed?" I nodded to reassure her.

It's cute how she's always there for me. As the same for me, I'll always be here for her.

"It's getting late maybe we should head back home."she suggested. I agreed and we headed back home I had to drive us, Mel doesn't have her license yet she drives good.

We arrived home, we unbuckled, I walk to her side and I open her door like a gentlemen. As we start walking I offer her my hand and she gladly accept it. I walk her to her door when she hugs me tightly and I hug her as well, we hugged until we were interrupted.

"Tony my man!" Melodee's brother brought me into a brother hug.

"Hey man! I just came to drop off Mel, but she just pulled me into a hug!" I replied laughing.

"Hey you hugged me too and I needed it!" Melodee put her hands in surrender mode.

"Aw. It's okay! You guys are just best friends and really need each other" Jack said with smirk.

"Yeah I don't know what I'll do with out this fucking turtle!" Melodee replied grinning.

"Why do you call me turtle!?"

"Well I don't know.. Maybe because you always talk about them! You silly!" She replied

We talk a little more until it was time for me to head home.

"I should get going, but see you Monday okay."

"Okay bye tony turtle!" I walk out while Melodee and her sister argued about who gets to eat the last slice of pizza we ordered earlier.

~ later that night ~
As i was preparing myself for bed when I get a phone call.
"Hello?" I asked
"Tony I....just....I " And that's all I heard.
I wonder who was that. I check the number it read; unknown
It must of been a wrong number, but they said my name. It wasn't a mistake, it was meant to be.

Melodee POV

I woke up the next morning, I stood up from my bed and headed to my bathroom. I rinse my face with cold water. I decide to get into the shower.

After I dry my hair I put my hair into a messy type of bun. I put on some comfortable clothes, such as tights and a hoodie. I walk down stairs to find a note on the kitchen table it read,

Mel, Mom and I are heading over to grandmas for a while, Cassie is coming too don't worry, Mel grandma is sick, mom is probably going to want to stay long so we left you money and the car keys. Yes you get the car, but take care of it. be careful. I'll call you later. -Jack

And with that it looks like I'll be home alone but I keep the car! My license should be coming soon so that means I can drive where ever i want to!

I felt hungry, I headed outside since I can't drive with out my license yet, I walk instead.

I order a caramel Starbucks coffee medium size. I pay for my order and walk out the store, I noticed some girl staring at me, "maybe i know her" i thought to myself.
"Maybe.... are you Melodee?"
I turn around to face the girl, didn't notice I said my thought out loud, but who is she?
I nodded slowly. "who are you?" I ask, kind of rude of me.
"Ahh it is you! oh my god!!!" screamed a very happy girl. Looks my age. Maybe a year older.
She run towards me and hug me.
" Who are you?" I ask with a chuckle
"Mel! It's me Kimberly!"I furrow my eyebrows in confusion, I couldn't remember any kimberlys'.
" Remember 8th grade! when we always use to hang out but I left to Arizona and-" I didn't let her finish that sentence, I hug her.
" Kimberly my girl! oh my god! You look so pretty, you changed!"
"Yeah i guess..." She sighed happily.
"why are you here? well like why are you back in San Diego?" I ask still shock.
"I missed it. I also wanted to catch up with friends you know and I found you! are you still like in school?" she asks
"Yeah I'm senior." I reply
" Wow! Me too, well duh we're the same age." I laughed
"Hey help me sign up for school, take me to yours?"
"Yeah of course it will be fun you'll get to meet my really awesome friends, but for now where are you staying?"
"At my mom's. Hey give me your number! You changed it!" I sigh feeling guilty that I changed my number with out telling her and loosing contact with her, she is a really good person.

I gave her my number and head home.

I throw my keys on the couch and head up to my room, I sit on my rockin' chair and sway myself back and forth. I sit here thinking, maybe I should call Tony and tell him to come over.
I slip my phone out of my pocket and dial Tony's number. I was about to hang up when he answers.
"Hello?"
"Hey Tone it's Melodee!"
"Oh hey I'm with the guys in the car we were about to call you and tell you we're heading to your place."
"Really? okay." I reply
"okay see you in five."

I don't bother changing, I'll just stay comfortable. I clean up the place a little when there is a knock on my door. I hurriedly head over to the door yelling " I'm coming!"
I swing the door open to find a turtle and a giraffe.
" Hey little one" Mike laughed at his own statement, and walks in carrying bags on his side.
"Hey, Vic and Jaime are getting the rest of the stuff." Tony said while hugging me. He kissed the top of my head before coming in. "Wait!! Don't close the door we're coming!" Vic yelled from his car.
I laughed and open the door to let him and Jaime in.
"What did you guys bring?" I ask excitedly wanting to know.
"Junk food!"
" Lets watch a movie!" Mike yelled from the kitchen a few minutes later he walk into the living room with the note in his hand.
"what is this?" I turn from where I was standing "Oh nothing I'm just staying home alone for a few days I guess...but what movie do we watch?"
"Oh are you going to be okay alone?" Mike asked concerned, i nodded to reassure him.

"NO! Mel why did you have to ask him!!" Vic,Jaime and Mike whined. I accidentally ask Tony what movie he wanted to watch and he obviously pick Star Wars but i like it too so I don't mind.
"Hey!" Tony replied defending himself.

Tony gave me the CD and I insert it inside the DVD player. Vic was sitting on the couch next to Tony, Tony patted the spot next to him, I walk over and sit next to him, he relaxed his head on my chest, I lay my head on top of his, Mike and Jaime sat on the floor as they ate their popcorn.....
