There's Nothing Real Inside
"You believe me, right?" Vic spoke up.
We were now cuddled up in his bed watching Transformers since it was the only decent movie on. It was nearing 8:30pm and we just ate dinner. I objected of course, but Vic only made me eat a yogurt and some fruit, saying a little food is better then none. I turned to him, a curious and confused look on my face.
"What do you mean?" I asked. Vic repositioned his body so he was facing me.
"When I told you I wasn't gonna let Balz anywhere near you earlier." He stated, frowning at my sudden discomfort. "You believe me, right?" He asked again. I thought about it.
Obviously I trust Vic, of course I do. But if Balz wanted to do something, he could get his entire gang and even Mike's to keep Vic from stopping him. There would be nothing he could do.
Vic noticed my hesitation, his frown growing.
"I won't let him hurt you, Kells. Why don't you believe me?" Vic asked, hurt flashing through his eyes before quickly being replaced with worry. I shook my head.
"I do believe that you'll do everything in your power to keep him away from me, but how easy is it when it's 6 to 1? or 10 to 1? You'd be out numbered. No matter what you'd do, you'd end up getting really hurt." I frowned at the thought.
"I don't care whether its 6 or 10 or 100 people after me, I'll do everything I can to protect you." He stated. I smiled before kissing him deeply.
"I know, thank you. I love you." I smiled.
"No need to thank me, I'd do anything for you. And I love you too." He kissed my forehead before turning off the tv signalling he wanted to go to sleep.
I rolled over and closed my eyes, feeling Vic's muscular arms wrap around my stomach protectively. The last thing I thought before falling asleep was how lucky I was to have Vic in my life.
"I don't care Michael! I don't want them here when Kellin is!" I heard Vic yell from downstairs. I sat up tiredly and pawed at my eyes before looking at the clock. It read 10:35am, guess I should get up. I tiptoed across Vic's room and into the hallway, stopping when I heard Mike yell.
"It's my house Vic! And I didn't even want him here in the first place! I grit my teeth and let that faggot wander around my house for you! So don't get on my ass about having friends over when I let that little bitch live in my house." Mike yelled. I swallowed the lump in my throat, not wanting to cry this early in the morning.
"Were you not there yesterday when Balz was saying all that disgusting shit about Kellin?! Huh? I know you were there the other night drunk off your ass and laughing when Balz scared the living shit out of him! I don't want these people here, all they want to do is hurt Kellin and I won't allow it!" Vic shouted back loudly. I cringed and decided to put a stop to it.
I went downstairs and saw Vic and Mike in each others faces, yelling their asses off. Balz, Justin, and that tall lanky guy from the other night were standing behind Mike. They noticed me standing there and glared accept for Balz who smirked almost lustfully. Vic turned around and smiled slightly, anger still there.
"Well well well, if it isn't Kellin Queerbag." Justin shot, laughing along with the other two. Mike was too busy trying to decide who to glare at, me or Vic. I winced slightly at his harsh words.
"God Kellin. You gotta stop wearing tight boxers around me. They highlight your package and your ass so well, I might get a boner!" Balz exclaimed. He walked around Mike and started towards me.
"I don't think so." Vic spat, moving so he was blocking Balz's way. The look on both of their faces looked like they were about to kill each other.
