"It's been awhile," Mike cooed as his fingers ran along his old drum set. His brother on the other hand kept his eyes on the guitar before him. One by one, Vic strummed a few chords on the acoustic guitar and lightly smiled. The feeling of old instruments never failed to amuse him especially when he missed touring.

A year had passed since the well-known band, Pierce the Veil, had called it quits. After disaster had struck one of the members, the others felt no need to continue anymore. Without their 'brother', they were nothing; they weren't whole. Fans weren't sad at first but shortly got used to the band's final decision as days turned into weeks and soon months.

The two brothers had gotten jobs and slowly but steadily became used to with being an everyday person again. No longer were they selling out shows by the minute or standing in front of venues which were filled to the brim with fans. Those days were over and neither of them knew whether or not if it would return.

Jaime's sight never left the analog clock inside the Fuentes brothers' garage. With each passing minute he thought back to old touring memories. Not a day went by that he hadn't done so. Touring and meeting new faces almost every single night was his everything. Sadly, it had all been taken away in the blink of an eye. Truthfully, he knew the reason behind it but kept it hid from both Vic and Mike. Tony had made him promised he wouldn't tell and Jaime did just that.

With a secret came destruction and Jaime wasn't ready to let anyone else find out the truth. He wasn't ready for things to come crashing down.
