Make Me A Promise

We Miss You ~ Part 1

Vic's POV

Let me tell you one thing I've learnt in life. Never take anything for granted. That's one thing you don't do.

I meant Bianca when Mike first started high school here in San Diego after being thrown out of one for various things. I remember the first time we 'met'. I was trying to make sure Mike wouldn't screw his last year up, when she came right between us both flashing a smile.

It was after that, that I learned her & Mike had already met. When she was out of ear shot he told me that, that was the girl he had hooked up with the night before.

Anyway, as time went one we became good friends. Her best friends Tony Perry & Jaime Preciado joined my band. We became a close group of friends despite the fact 2 of the group didn't get on very well.

As time went on, Pierce The Veil got popular and we bagged ourselves a recording contract. With the hectic life, sometimes we didn't get chance to talk to Bianca much. I made sure I called her though, I can't say much for the others. We hadn't seen her for a year when we were 'reunited' as such. We were about to drop our first tour, no-one told us who our tour manager was going to be.

When I saw her I knew straight away it was her, even though she gave us a fake name. I decided not to question her, I didn't know why she was pretending to be someone else but it was a good reason.

When it finally got out, it caused a lot of arguments and fights. It turned nasty at some points. Her & Mike rekindled what they had back in high school. They were cute together, I won't lie but they clashed a lot. To throw in a bit of tension, Tony was in love with her. Anyone could tell, it wasn't hard to notice. I think she knew but I don't think she loved him like that.

We kind of took her for granted, she was always making us happy. We didn't even know she was the one who needed saving. She assured us she was okay and that her life was perfect. If only it was as perfect as she made it out to be.

She fell pregnant with little Adriana, it was complicated. There were two possible fathers and it got to her, she wanted Mike to be the dad but due to how good Tony was she also wanted him to be the dad. When it came out that Tony was in fact Adriana's dad, life for her seemed to fit perfectly. Or so it seemed.

The day or well I should say night that she ended her own life was heartbreaking. It broke us all. She had left her daughter, her friends, her family. Natalie was really supportive through everything, she held everything together. We didn't allow ourselves to grieve properly because we wanted to help Tony.

Mike took a bad turn, constantly drinking, not caring. He missed her just as much as the rest of us. He blamed Tony for her suicide, whereas Tony blamed him for it.

I've never felt so broken, she was a beautiful young girl who had everything to live for. Nothing would ever change that.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that even though she's not here with us in person, is that her memory will live on, she'll always be here with us. I just wish we could of saved her before it was too late.

I hope she's in a better place now.

I miss her & I always will.
