Turbulence.

Just where the hell were you?

My shot glass slammed against the bar counter as a permanent cocky smirk played on my lips.
"You got skills, girl."
I agreed with the stranger mentally as I fixed my shirt, making sure enough of my cleavage was showing. Who cares if it's not the best kind of attention? I like it.
"I've been out drinking guys since I was in high school."
"Question is.... do you remember what shot you're on?"
I laughed and pushed back my hair, looking around. I was sitting at the bar, chatting with random people all night long while scanning the packed dance floor for someone who caught my interest. Of course, the one guy that caught my attention understood what the smile I was giving him was about. Not five minutes later, he sat down next to me and ordered me some fruity drink. Of course I denied and corrected the drink. He smiled at me as I was handed a few shot classes filled with tequila and a small bowl of lime wedges.
"Not at all. I was drinking before you asked to sit down next to me, Which, by the way, trying to get me shitfaced so you could take me home with you won't work."
His smile almost disappeared until I gave him one in return, slightly laughing. A nervous laugh passed through his lips, clearly because I found out what his plan was. Why else would you challenge a girl to shots?
I started leaning up to the man who is a few years older than myself, I placed my left hand on his jaw line and moved my mouth to his right ear before whispering.
"If you want to take me home, just ask."
I pulled away, only to be stopped by his hand on the back of my head, keeping my face inches from his. He bit his bottom lip before licking them, his brown eyes staring at me, full of lust.
"Want to get out of here?"
My small nod was cut short when his lips forcefully crashed on mine, which I had no intention of pulling away any time soon.

Everything moved as if I was underwater, blurry, muffled and clouded. My hand was being tugged in the direction of the exit, then down the street leaving the night club's bassy music fading as we continued to walk. The alcohol warmed my body enough to get rid of the chill from outside. Being mid August, it was warm outside during the day and chilly outside at night.
I couldn't process what was happening as I was hoisted up on the wall by the man whose name had slipped my mind. He wrapped my legs around him as he attacked my neck with kisses and bites, making small moans come from my mouth. My fingers tangled in his hair, tugging as a response to his actions.
"My place or yours?"
My mind was racing as his every movement made me want him more. If I had it my way, it'd happen right here.
"Yours."
I felt him smile against my neck before carefully setting me down, leading me to his house which was a few blocks from the club.
~

I was pulled away from my dreamless night as my phone kept vibrating on the side table. I cleared my throat and held my phone up to my ear, not caring who I was about to be talking to.
"H-Hello?"
"Where the hell are you? Did you forget you were my ride to school today?"
"Shit, Hailey, I'll be there in twenty. Can you call and let Mr. Hutchinson know we're gonna be late?"
"Yeah. You're lucky you're his favorite. You know if any other student did this, he'd flip shit."
I chuckled knowing she's right.
"Okay. I'm gonna go and get ready."
"Fine. Just hurry. When you get here, just honk."
" 'Kay."
I hung up my phone, looking at the time in big white letters. 10:45. I have fifteen minutes until I'm officially late for school. If I didn't have to worry about Hailey, I'd say fuck it and sleep some more. I laid my head down, dreading having to get out of bed, until I felt someone stir on the other side of me.
Shit shit shit.
How could I not tell this wasn't my room, that this wasn't how my bed feels?
I carefully got out of his bed, trying to gather up my clothes from the night before, trying not to mix up his with mine.
How could I possibly forget about last night?!
I quickly pulled my clothes on while trying to fix my hair and makeup. I grabbed my purse and my heels, keeping my heels in my hand instead of trying to walk in them. I quickly grabbed one of his hoodies to fight against the November air. He had given it to me last night to wear on our walk to his house.
I bit my lip, staring at the dead asleep guy. I sighed as I rummaged around in my purse for a pen and a piece of paper. I pulled out a crumpled up receipt for a pack of cigarettes then scribbled on it, leaving the paper ontop of his phone which laid on his dresser.

'Amazing time last night. ;)
By the way, I'm taking a hoodie. It's chilly out.
Next Saturday, same place, you'll get it back.'
~

"I am soooo sorry."
Hailey rolled her eyes at me as she climbed into my tan 1999 Chevy Tahoe. Hailey stood about two inches taller than myself and looked nothing like me. She had platinum blonde hair with black underneath it, of course the blonde wasn't her natural hair color. She wore skirts and heels on a daily basis, opposed to my vans, converses and skinny jeans. Her
nails were always manicured with whatever her favorite color was for the week. She reads magazines
the way Christians read the bible to keep up on the latest trends, as where I just buy shirts that have bands on them. The only time I dress up is when I'm going out to find someone or just for a good night. Her eyes were bright blue. Her favorite way of describing them was like an aquarium. She had one piercing, her naval, which she loved showing off. She had a flat belly and a solid C cup. As where I, was slightly chubby with a cup size that was hard to find in stores.
I met her back the last month of my senior year in high school. I was having a bad week and ended up tripping when I was rushing. While all her friends laughed at me, she actually helped me up. After that whenever she saw me in the hall she'd start a conversation with me. I liked that we were so different but hated it at the same time.
"What the hell happened?"
She set her purse down by her feet as she put on her seat belt, giving me an evil glare.
"I was out drinking last night, so I ended up sleeping hard. Didn't hear my alarm clock go off."
That is technically the truth, I just left out the part that I slept with a stranger.
"You know, one day you're going to get caught. How many times can you use a fake ID at the same place and no one notice?" She leaned up, pressing the play button on my radio, letting her FUN cd take over my speakers with the song 'Out on the town'.
"Because, Andre is the bouncer and I think he likes me. He probably knows I'm only nineteen but doesn't care."
I chuckled as I pulled off in the direction of our college, going only a little over the speed limit to get there.
~

"You know him?"
I stared at the tattooed guy who had to door open for the girls who were giggling over him. A smile played on his full lips. He's always been one to love the attention from girls.
"Yeah. Back in high school before you and I met, we used to hang out in the same group of friends. His name is Tony."
Technically the truth...
"He's fucking hot."
I rolled my eyes and scoffed. Nothing new. All my friends that were girls always found him attractive. How could you not though?
Tattoos, quiet, he was one of the sweetest people I know, polite to everyone he's met. He has an amazing talent when it comes to the guitar. If you needed anything, he'd be there in a heartbeat for you. That is, until he gets too close to you. That's when he starts treating you like shit.
"I just want to know why he's here."
My best friend shrugged, still keeping her eyes on someone I haven't spoken to or seen in almost a year
"TONY!"
I instantly regretted calling his name when his gaze left the girls' and made contact with mine. He ignored the two girls that were trying to flirt with him, twirling their hair around their french manicured nails. His smile grew wider when he saw it was me who called him over. He looked down at them, saying something before jogging over to me.
"Hey, Dee."
"Lydia. No more nicknames."
He held up his hands in defense then placed them in his jacket pockets.
"What're you doing here?"
He shrugged and looked around.
"I'm gonna go get to class. You said you'd take me home, right?"
I nodded at Hailey who was walking backwards waiting for my answer.
"Okay. See you later."
I waved 'bye' to her before bringing my attention back to Tony.
"Jaime's here picking up his sister. But I seem to of lost him. Which is weird since this campus isn't big."
"Jaime is here?"
Tony looked down at me to see how much my smile has grown. Jaime. He was the first person I met when I moved here. My first day of sophomore year.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck."
I hurriedly threw my bookbag over my shoulder, running down one of the confusing hallways, trying to find out where I need to go. My last school was so much more simple.
When you walked in the front door, you could either go left to the cafeteria which was also used as the auditorium, go right for the office or the nurse, or you could go straight down the two halls, the gym and library being at the end of them.
But this school has two floors, hallways that criss-cross, something called 'the new wing', and in the center of all of that, they have a door that leads to the outside, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCHOOL THERE IS AN OUTSIDE! Why the hell can't this school just be simple?

Before I knew what was happening, all the weight from my back was gone.
"UGH! YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!"
I turned around to see all of my text books and papers spread out in the hallway. I took off my now empty bookbag and sat down on the floor, groaning loudly before laying back.
"Awe. You can't give up now. There's only a hour left of school."
I sighed and looked up at whoever was talking to me. He had on a beanie, small curls falling out from the side of it. I moved my attention to the rest of him, noticing a 'The Bled' shirt with black straight leg jeans and black vans. He held out his hands, offering me help up.
"Thanks."
A small smile took over my lips as I took his hand, expecting to do all the work by myself but instead he hoisted me up, catching me when I almost fell forward from the sudden movement.
I heard him chuckle before apologizing.
He had a good foot of a height difference on me, causing me to crane my neck to look at him. Dimples showed on both cheeks as he smiled at me, along with brown eyes taking in my features.
"I'm having a rough day... and I think I'm lost."
He laughed at me and bent down to pile up my books.
"Don't worry. Everyone here had a tough first day. I probably walked into a wrong room like eight times."
I knelt down and started helping him with my books.
"I'm Lydia. Thanks by the way."
"Did they assign you a locker yet?"
I nodded and pulled out a small piece of paper, with my locker number and combination on it.
"I just haven't found it."
"Well let's go then."
He smiled and adjusted my books so he wont drop them then grabbed my hand, leading me down another hall.

"If you ever need help with anything. Most of the time, for the last hour of school I'm in the guidance office. So just ask to talk to Jaime, or if you just want to talk."
He smiled and winked at me, causing my cheeks to heat up. I nodded and put the rest of my books in my locker before closing it.
"Thanks, Jaime."
He nodded before heading back in the direction we came from.
"Do you think I could take you up on that offer now? I really don't like history."
He stopped in his tracks and looked back at me, smiling and nodding his head.

"So, It looks like you had fun last night."
I was pulled away from my thoughts when Tony's fingers quickly made contact with my neck, flicking at the light purple marks from last night. I backed up and stared at him, slightly annoyed.
"Don't touch me."
He chuckled and looked around, probably looking for Jaime through the crowd of college students.
"You used to do it to me all the time in high school. Thought I'd do it for a change."
"We're not in high school. If we were, I'd probably wouldn't have touched the marks those filthy sluts left on you."
Tony quickly took his attention away from the crowd to myself, shocked by what I said.
"Weren't you friends with them? Why're they sluts? You sleep with people too. What's keeping you from being a slut?"
"Unlike my 'friends' I knew when a guy was off limits. I'm not a slut because I haven't cheated on anyone. I also didn't sleep with my best friend's boyfriend."
His smile dropped, realizing he's hit a nerve on me.
"I was drunk, Dee. I didn't mean to..."
"Yeah. You never meant to do anything."
"I've changed.... I'm not some stupid horny teenaged boy anymore..."
"That's great! Too bad you couldn't control yourself back when it mattered. When you get a girlfriend, the normal thing is to stop fucking around with girls. Not go out looking for someone because your girl won't put out."
I adjusted my bookbag on my shoulder as I turned around. My aggravated face turning into an excited smile at the sight of the spikey haired mexican.
"Preciado!"
"Nesmith!"
I was off the ground and in his arms before he finished saying my last name.
"Holy shit! I've missed you!"
"I've missed you too! Last I've heard you, Tony, and Brandon were joining a band. Uh, Trigger my Nightmare, right? How's that going?"
He placed me down and bit his lip, causing his dimples to barely show. It was the face he used to always make when he was unsure of what to say.
"It was fun... We're having our last show this Saturday down at Shaka's.... If you want to see us play one last time. It's normally twenty-one and up, but when bands play, it's eighteen and up."
I looked back at Tony, debating if I want to put up with him for that long. I'd have to act like everything is alright.... Jaime thinks the reason we stopped hanging out is because I got busy with the whole graduating and college thing, and the fact Tony got busy with a job and a band. He doesn't know it's because of Tony's bad decisions.
"Uh, I'll see if I can go. You know, make sure I'm not doing anything else."
"Thanks. I'll make sure you get in free. I'm pretty tight with the bouncer there."
He smiled widely, bouncing on the ball of his feet with excitement.
I chuckled at the thought.
So am I Hime, so am I.
"Well, I gotta get going, Hime. I'm done with my classes for the day. So now I have a shit ton of work. I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer."
"It's okay. As long as I see you this weekend. Bye Nesmith."
He smiled widely as he hugged me one last time before I had to leave.
"Bye, Dee."
Tony waved in my direction, not getting a wave in return as I walked off towards my car, regretting my decision to go only by alittle.

@Erawr

Its fine, I just really love it /.\

@TheRosesOnYourDoor
At the beginning of this chapter, I got stuck. I had no idea what to do. Everytime I had started writing out the scene, I absolutely hated it. Aside from hating everything I wrote, I also had writers block. There was supposed to be alot more added on to the newest chapter, but I kept telling myself that I NEEDED to post something since it had been so long. So I cut it short, wrapped it up and posted it, just so there was at least something to read. I'm going to try and work more on the story, since last night I came up with a few more ideas, so hopefully it won't be months between updates. I'm so sorry about the wait!
