Red.

~ 7 months later ~
"Emma, Em, babe, wake up, how are you feeling?" I pushed my head further into the pillow my head pounding madly.
"mmmm shhhh Mike go away please." I begged into the fluff of cotton. Mike pulled at my arm turning me to face him, hand coming up to my cheek.
"how are you feeling babe you've been resting all morning, Dawn misses her momma."
I poured up at Mike, "I miss her too but she hasn't been to happy with me and we both know why." I said grabbing his hand in mine. Mike grinned reaching out his other hand to run my swollen belly.
"She's still trying to come around but she ls excited to be a big sister."
I smiled running my hand over my stomach as well, "I'll go cook us up some breakfast and then we can go out and have some family time." I smiled, watching as Mike retreated calling out to dawn.

7 months had changed a lot, dawn was now 5, me and Mike were an official couple, and well we had a bun in the oven. Five months in to be exact, Dawn wasn't to excited actually she still hadn't come around. Dawn had been more attached to Mike these past months, occasionally enjoying my company. It was understandable Dawn had been my one and only so now that's this "monster thing" as she liked to call it occupied my stomach she was feeling nothing but jealousy. I stood from the bed walking to the closet to pull out a flowy dress seeing as I has showered earlier. I went for a black and white striped maxi dress and some black sandals, I threw my hair into a bun walking to the kitchen. Dawn sat on the table with vic who was helping her serve some cereal.
" Hey vic when did you get here?" I questioned drawing their attention. Vic smiled coming forward to hug me, "hey em, just awhile ago Mike invited me and the parentals over for breakfast." I nodded before looking past him to my daughter, her eyes were trained on my belly, a small smile on her face. When her eyes met mine she looked away scowling a bit, I chuckled walking to her.
"hey baby, what are you doing?"
dawn looked up at me giving me a small smile, "nothing momma just eating sum cereals." She said pointing to her bowl. I smiled placing a kiss on her forehead lingering a bit.
"Dawn I love you, please never forget that, I'll never love you more than the baby, I'll love you both the same." Dawn looked up at me Pukering her lips at me. I kissed her before her squeezing to me, " I love you momma, I sorry I was with dadde I was just sad cause I thought you no love me no more."
I laughed kissing her head repeatedly, "oh Dawn baby no you'll always be mommas girl always okay?" Dawn nodded, a knock on the door grabbing her attention.
"grama and granpa are here!" Dawn exclained climbing off her chair to run to the door. Dawn returned back holding both her grandparents hands nearly dragging them in. I hugged mama and papa, mama fuentes cooing at my belly earning a tug of her pants from Dawn who insisted she pay attention to her. We all chuckled, Dawn covering her face into my leg insisting she wasn't jealous. Mike served us all plates as we took our seats at the table. Mike and vic sat next to me mama and pale in front of us with Dawn on my lap. We sat and talked about our future plans such as the band, the baby... And marriage. I chuckled remembering the first time Mike had started calling me mrs. Fuentes seems he never got around to doing anything.

We eventually moved the family talk to the kitchen Mike having gotten quiter since. I sat next to him Dawn cuddled on him. I rubbed his hand sensing how tense he had become.
"Mike you okay? I whispered. He turned to me squeezing my hand, "I'm fine babe just a little tired I guess." I nodded my head sitting up before lifting myself from the couch, "would anyone like a drink?" I asked. They all nodded as I went to the kitchen to get some cups. I grabbed the cups and drinks an awkwardness settling in as the house grew eerily quiet. I shrugged it off grabbing the tray with drinks and returning to the living room. Something was off, "where's mike and Dawn?" I asked smiling at the three before me setting there drinks down. Vic and mama fuentes pointed behind me. I gave them a confused look before turning stopping midway, breath catching in my throat. Mike kneeled before me with Dawn standing next to him a bouquet of roses in her hand. My hand came up to my mouth. Mike whispered something to Dawn, she smiled running up to me passing me the flowers as she squeezed my legs staying by me. Mike cleared his throat all eyes on him,
"Em I know the last time you saw me in this postion it was probably not the best, and I finally realized that, but now I finally have you and Dawn and another blessing on its way and I don't think I could ever be happier, it took me this long to realize what a mistake I had made putting you through all things I did, I needed a wake-up call and that was you, my brother and friends and my parents, I don't want to go any longer not being able to call you my wife or come home from tours knowing your still Emma, I want to come home to able to call you my wife. I want to be able to actually call us a family. So I guess what I'm trying to say here is, Emma will you do me the greates pleasure of becoming Mrs Emma Fuentes?" I
nodded my head feverishly not being able to make out the words. Dawn cheered as Mike stood crossing over to me, placing the ring on my finger as he placed his lips on mine. A group of arms wrapped around us both congratulating the two of us. Mike knelt down grabbing Dawn who wrapped her arms around the both of us.
"tio, grama, granpa my momma and daddy are finally happy!"
Mike and I nodded kissing both her cheeks placing her down, Mike wrapped his arm around me pulling me close, he placed a kiss on my head. "We're finally happy em." He whispered.
i looked up at him smiling widely before leaning up on my toes, "finally." I whispered beforing placing a kiss on his lips.
