Since my little encounter with Mike in the bunks the bus had grown quiet. The sounds of tires crossing road and wind was the only thing I could hear from where I lay on the couch, with the occasional lyrics of frozens let it go coming from the bunks. I was scrolling through my Instagram double tapping some photos, while scrolling past others. I lowered my phone when I felt the couch dip and my feet placed elsewhere. Mike sat my feet placed neatly on his lap and a small smile prominent on his face.
"so did you really mean what you said back there, do you really not think I'm a princess?" Mike questioned feigning hurt.
I let out a chuckle rolling my eyes at the man in front of me,
"of course not Mike your the most prettiest princess ever, I was just jealous I wasnt."
Mike squeezed my foot, "you've always been a princess in my eyes." I averted my eyes from Mike poking him with my toe before going back to my phone, the conversation having taken an awkward turn.
"Em I'm serious you are a princess even prettier than I am you deserve a prince."
I groaned removing my feet from Mike; sitting up, "can we not do this right now Mike you can't just say things you don't mean."
Mike stared at me sternly, " you think I don't mean it?"
I stared at the man in front of me in disbelief, " Jesus Mike you can't be serious since my pregnancy and up until now you have been back and fourth from being a dick to being sweet it's confusing and it shouldn't have to be, you made your choice with Alysha so you don't get to call me princess or tell me what I deserve" I spoke my voice raising. A look of anger crossed mikes features, "yeah well apparently I didn't have a say in you sleeping with my brother either!" He replied venom lacing his voice.
Tears brimmed my eyes, "shit em, I'm sorry, that wasn't, fuck." I held my finger up, " it's fine Mike just go" I whispered pointing to the bunks. I watched Mike get up walking slowly to the bunks. I wiped the tears from my eyes laying on the couch and closing my eyes.

I awoke to a start taking in the surroundings, the bus had stopped moving. I called out to the boys and Dawn but nothing could be heard the bus was empty. I like outside and noticed we had arrived at the venue. I stood up tossing on my shoes and cardigan running out the bus and into the venue. Pierce the Veils Bulls in the Bronx could be heard coming from the stage. I looked around walking to the break room to see if dawn was in there. I opened the door not seeing anything except food and drinks filled throughout the room. I turned closing the door behind me heading towards the stage area. From where I stood I could see dawn perched neatly on mikes lap as he banged away on the drums before him. The intensity of the boys and crowd begin to grow as the Mexican inspired break down was coming up. Dawn spotted me, climbing off her fathers lap to run over to me.
"momma momma les dance les dance!" Dawn shouted over the music. I felt my hand being pulled closer to the stage as the beat down started to play. Dawn began to twirl around catching vics attention.
"everybody please help me welcome my niece Dawn fuentes!" He shouted into the mic. The crowd roared exciting Dawn who ran further on stage twirling and bouncing around clapping her hands when her father started. Vic waltzed to ward me pulling on my hand, I shook my head resisting but eventually gave in. I danced around with the boys and Dawn the crowd going crazy along with us. The song ended Dawn bowed as did I, vic gave us one last thank you before we walked off. The boys continued on before finishing up the show great. The crowd sounded loud as the boys exited giving Dawn and I hugs. Mike was the last one to see us picking up Dawn placing kisses on her head. Dawn squeezed him talking animatedly of how much fun the show has been. Mike came forward pulling me into a hug as well.
"em I'm sorry about earlier it was out of line and a dick move but believe me when I say I'm trying to fix things." He whispered into my ear I nodded squeezing his side. Mike pulled away taking Dawn with him swaying her "so I say we have a family day tomorrow." Mike announced causing Dawn to cheer. I raised a brow at the retreating two. It's never too late for a change.
