The Reason

Vic's POV

No. No. No. No.
This can't be happening. This has to be fake. This cannot be real. I can't believe I ever fell in love with that stingy, obsessive, cantankerous woman. I lay down under the tree I was sitting under and think. I had to get away from everyone to just think. I decided to sit, or lay, under a tree that was next to a small pond that was far from the buses and stage. Somewhere where I could be alone. As I layed there, sleepiness washed over me and my eyes slowly shut.
It was dark. I was in the middle of a field that seemed to be in forest. The sky was a dark red color and clouds were slowly taking over. I looked around as the wind softly blew.

I suddenly heard two types of screams coming from the left and right. The voice of the screams sounded familiar. To left I heard screams of the woman I used to love. The woman I gave my heart to. The woman who brought out the best of me. And to the right I heard the screams of my little girl. The girl who mattered to me more than any person, place or object. The girl who was everything to me.

"Vic, please, help me!"

"Dad! Daddy! Help me! Help!"

"Victor! Please!"

"Dad!"

I could only stand there as I saw both girls come running out of the forest, covered in blood. Before I could react, three men came from each side and began to brutally assault both girls. I saw the tallest man from Kitzie's side grabbed her arms, pinned them to her back and push her to the ground on her stomach. Another man who looked the heaviest but his foot on the side of her head. I tried to run up to help her, to save her, but I couldn't. I Screamed, ran up to them, but no one could see me. I was invisible to them. Before I knew it, the man brought his foot down with full force to her head as rain began to pour. Her screams were silenced immediately as I heard the entire field go silent. The three men from the side were carrying the dead body of my ex lover. And my little girl was laying on the ground in a pool of blood, her skull in pieces. I woke up screaming and In tears. I can't let Kimberly's plan go through. Both girls could get hurt in something and she won't know how to handle things. I can't let my little girl get hurt because of her stupid decisions.
