Chapter 6: Jet Lagged

I fell back onto the bed of my hotel room. My eyes were wide open, but in reality, I was exhausted. It took so long to get through the airport. First getting all of our luggage, then the press crowding us all along with trying to get through the normal crowd at the airport.

"I never want to be famous..." I mumbled, my arms covering my eyes blocking out the sun pouring in from the windows.

"I said that once." Vic laughed as he wandered into my room and looked at me. He walked over to the windows and closed the curtains. "You okay?"

"Just jet lagged..." I mumbled again.

"Don't worry. All the rest of the traveling is a lot shorter. Except going back to the States... But you've got a month to prepare for that." Vic smiled.

I moved my arms away from my face and then looked to Vic. "I just don't want my feelings for Tony getting in the way."

Vic shrugged. "Well, think of it this way... You have your own room in every hotel along the way on this tour. You can always drag him back for a quick make out if you ever need to."

I sat up immediately and shushed him. "Vic!"

It was around 11am when we arrived in London. Our hotel was in the middle of everything. I was tired but I also knew I wouldn't be able to sleep. The guys all wanted to explore the area as well. We found ourselves in the gardens near by and I thought it would be a good opportunity to get some "behind the scenes" pictures.

As I was taking pictures of some of the flowers around me, I looked up for a moment to see Tony taking a picture on his phone of the surrounding area. I smiled and walked towards him.

"Hey... Can I take some pictures of you?" I asked as I approached him.

He turned to me and lowered his phone and smiled. "Sure." He said as he put his phone into his back pocket of his jeans. "Uh... Should I strike a pose?" He chuckled.

I smiled and nodded. "Go ahead."

He put his arms up and flexed. I put the camera up to look through it and positioned it perfectly with Big Ben behind him. I focused and took the photo. I looked at it on the screen and smiled. Before I knew it, Tony was next to me, leaning over my shoulder to look at the screen on my camera as well. I blushed a bit and showed it to him.

He gave a big cheesy smile. "That's an awesome picture! I definitely need that one!"

I blushed even more. "Y-you really like it?" I asked.

He nodded. "Hell yeah!"

That was honestly one of the best feelings in the world. Having him compliment my photos. I smiled.

"I'll make sure to print one just for you." I said.

As he smiled at me, I heard my name being called by the other three. "Hey Rax! Let's get a group photo, of all of us!" Vic called to me. I looked to see him waving me over. I nodded a bit and walked over with Tony who joined them.

I walked over to them just as Vic called aside a random person who was obviously a tourist and handed her his phone asking to take a picture of all of us together. The group huddled together. I felt an arm go over my shoulder and I blushed, seeing it was covered in tattoos, knowing immediately it was Tony.

We had a few pictures taken all together. Vic thanked the tourist and brought his phone back over to our group. We looked over the pictures together. In all of them, I looked quite happy to have Tony's arm around me. As we all approved of the photos, we continued on our little tour of the area.

After about 2 hours, jet lag hit all of us at the same time. Our bodies were still on California time after all. We started to head back to the hotel which wasn't too far.

As we made our way back, of course fans of the band noticed the guys and stopped them for pictures. It made me think about the time when I was like them, freaking out about the band and meeting them. Now, it was just a normal thing for me to be around them. I still idolized them because they were still my favorite band, but I had gotten to know them on a personal level which changed my overall experience with them.

We arrived back at the hotel lobby all going into the same elevator to go up to our two separate rooms. We made no plans for later knowing we would all be sleeping for the rest of the day. At the doors we said goodnight for now. I stood in my doorway for a moment to share a slight smile with Tony before we retreated back into our rooms.

Notes

Sort of a short and cute chapter! Stay tuned for more! <3

I'm so sorry to hear you lost your best friend. I lost mine too. I have a yellow ribbon I always wear in a locket with his picture.

Someone told me once..."Sometimes people come into your life for a certain time. They can stay forever, or they can't. All you know is that they changed you in your heart."

I love this story. It's amazing.
