Chapter 13: Mornings

I woke up to the feeling of Tony's lips kissing my forehead. My eyes fluttered open as I looked up, our eyes meeting. He smiled at me.

"Morning, princess." He whispered as he kissed down my cheek and to my lips.

"Morning." I whispered back. Our bodies were snuggled together under the blankets. The morning air was chilly, so his warmth felt nice.

Our lips pressed against each other for multiple little innocent kisses. I chuckled slightly under his lips as I felt him smile against mine.

There was a knock at the door. "Tony! Quick trying to make little baby turtles and get up!" We heard Jaime yell from the other side.

"We're not!" Tony yelled back and laughed.

I smiled and pulled away from him a bit. "We should get up. It's 9am. We have to be out of here by 10."

Tony nodded a bit and sat up in my bed, stretching his arms over his head with a yawn.

I got up from my bed and walked over to the window, opening the curtains only a little, not wanting to blind myself just yet today.

Last night felt so good being able to fall asleep next to Tony and hold each other. It was like a part of a dream for me. It was comforting to know he was there by my side. I turned to see Tony standing up from my bed.

"You want a quick breakfast?" He asked as he ran his hand through his hair. God damn, he was so attractive when he did that.

"Sure." I replied as I began to walk over to him. I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him, and he hugged me back.

"Alright, I'll get us a bunch of stuff. We'll eat breakfast with the guys in the room." He said kissing the top of my head.

"See you there in a bit." I let him go and he walked to the door and walked out.

I looked to see my phone blinking with a notification. I walked over to the night table it was on and sat on the edge of my bed picking up the phone and unlocking it. It was a text from my best friend Trista. I had realized I hadn't texted her since the start of the tour. Things were so crazy I hadn't really paid much attention to my phone at all unless it had to do with Tony.

'You haven't died yet, have you?' The text read.

I laughed a bit and replied to the text.

'I'm quite alive and slept next to Tony Perry last night.' Sent.

I left the text at that, waiting for the extremely surprised texts that followed. Yeah, I said texts, knowing she couldn't contain herself in just one.

I started checking the rest of my messages. There was one from my mom that said 'Hey hunny! I hope you're having an amazing time!'

As I was about to reply, I was suddenly spammed with texts in reply from Trista. Oh boy, here we go.

'WHAT?!'

'EXCUSE ME?!'

'YOU DID WHAT?!'

'EXPLAIN TO ME NOW, WOMAN!!!'

One after another the texts arrived, each one with her own personalized notification sound.
With a wide smile on my face, I replied. 'You're talking to Mrs. Perry.'

As I sent it, I started to receive a call from her. I answered it. "Good morning from London, England."

All I heard on the other side was Trista screaming. "You're joking, right?!"

I laughed a bit. "Nope."

"He... actually asked you to be his girlfriend?!" She was still shocked.

"Yeah, last night after the first show. And I got my kiss in the rain!" My voice sang slightly as I remembered the kisses we shared in the pouring rain.

"Holy shit. Just... holy shit!" She couldn't contain herself. "I'm so happy for you! It's like... crazy to think how much we used to obsess over them and now you're dating Tony!"

"Yeah. Sometimes it doesn't feel real." As I said that, Tony came walking through the door with a huge plate of food.

I looked to him and smirked. "Speak of the devil, guess who just walked through the door." I looked at my phone and put it on speaker for Tony to hear.

"Is Tony there?" Trista asked.

Tony laughed and sat down next to me. "This is the Turtle speaking. What's up?"

There was a moment of silence on the phone, but then finally Trista spoke up. "Okay, I think I might be slightly dying."

"Please don't die." I chuckled and kissed Tony on the cheek. "Text me, Trista. We're going to eat breakfast and we have to head out on the bus in a bit. Alrighty?"

"Yeah, I'll text you. See ya! And don't get pregnant!" She hung up quickly before I could even say anything back. What was it with the baby jokes this morning?

"Well, that's my best friend Trista. No doubt you'll meet her eventually." I put my phone away, still laughing a bit.

"You told her about us?" Tony smiled and got back up with the plate of food in his hands.

"Yeah. Should I not have?" I asked, hopping I didn't do anything wrong.

"I actually think it's adorable you're telling people." He gestured me to come with him. "Come on, we've got pancakes to demolish!"

I laughed and followed him as he led the way to the room next door.

As we walked in, everyone had their own plates of food. Mike sat at the table with some toast an some scrambled eggs, looking very hungover and not having much of an appetite. I smiled at him and as soon as he noticed it was me, he waved me over. I moved towards him and he pulled me over for a big hug.

"You were right and you're amazing." He said as he let me go. "Hey, Vic? Can we adopt her? Please?"

Vic laughed. "You want a little sister?"

Mike nodded frantically and finally let me go.

"You heard the man." I laughed in return.

"Pleaseeeee?" Mike pleaded like a child as he shoved a piece of buttered toast into his mouth.

"You're officially a Fuentes." Vic said as he lifted up a glass of orange juice into the air for a toast. Everyone else followed, lifting their glasses of whatever they have. Mikes probably had some sort of alcohol mixed with juice. Even Tony raised his glass and smiled at me.

The second time they had made a toast to me, and now I was Vic and Mike's little sister. What more could possibly happen on this tour?

Notes

Cute little chapter again. Things could get pretty interesting real soon! <3

I'm so sorry to hear you lost your best friend. I lost mine too. I have a yellow ribbon I always wear in a locket with his picture.

Someone told me once..."Sometimes people come into your life for a certain time. They can stay forever, or they can't. All you know is that they changed you in your heart."

I love this story. It's amazing.
