Fearless

The smell of Tony's cologne hit me right as I walked in.

Yeah, I knew what that smelled like.

It's okay Ang, you can do this

I walked up the stairs which lead into Mike's living room.

I saw him.

He was on his phone, looking as calm as can be.

Well, at least Mike didn't tell him I was coming.

I stopped mid-step

I couldn't

This would turn out bad.

Come on! Man up!

You got yourself into this

Do not, do not chicken out.

Fuck it.

I walked over, and plopped down on the couch which Tony say on.

He turned his head, obviously shocked.

He put down his phone.

I smirked.

Tony's Pov

She was here.

Sitting right beside me.

Mike and Bailey walked in the living room, Bailey went to sit right by Angel.

Mike went into the center of the living room and smiled while he clapped his hands together.

"Everyone else should be here soon." He grinned.

I shoot him a glare.

I stood up, grabbed his sleeve and said "Excuse us." while I dragged him into the kitchen.

"Why the fuck would you not tell me she was coming?" I whispered harshly.

"Dude, she wants to talk to you, she's scared. This is a huge step for her, don't screw yourself by saying anything stupid." Mike snarled, as he stomped out of the kitchen towards my nightmare.

I walked into the living room and made ye contact with Angel.

She nodded.

So did I.

She got up, and said as I did before which was "Excuse us".

We walked side by side, into the next room.


We entered the guest bedroom Mike had in his house.

"Is here okay?" I asked quietly.

"Yeah." She mumbled as she sat on the edge of the bed.

I just stood there, then something Mike told me not to do, the one and only thing

I said something very, very stupid.

"What's your problem?"

She looked at me from under her long lashes, obviously pissed.

"I have the same question to you."

"Didn't anyone ever teach you it's rude to answer a question, with a question?"

"Nope."

"Well-"

"You gonna teach me?" She said, darkly.

I stood, impressed actually.

I've never seen her like this.

"I have a couple tricks up my sleeve." I replied, even darker.

I may still be the old me,

But I'm still pretty clever.

"Would you mind showing me?"

"Well, here's one way. You actually have an answer for the question someone's asking you." I said slyly.

"Then lets use it on you," She paused "Why didn't want to stop kissing me, Tony Perry?"

"Because I didn't. Isn't it simple enough?" I shrugged.

"But it wasn't supposed to go that way.." She looked at the floor.

"Well, lots of things happen that are unexpected Angel."

Her eyes met mine.

She was so beautiful.

I missed her.

"I miss you, a lot." She got up and wrapped her arms around my neck, hugging me.

I hugged back.

I guess Angel and I were good now..

But I still didn't feel right

I wanted more from her.

I was sure to get it.
