Fast times at Clairemont High

"Cam is that you?" I hear someone whisper through the shadows.

"Yeah?" I asked not knowing who it was.

The voice seemed sad and gravely like the person had been crying.

"Can you give me a minute I want to be alone" After that I recognized the voice.

"Mike are you okay?" I asked

"Just go it's all your fault" He said sternly fighting back tears. I've never seen him so vulnerable.

"Excuse me? This is my fucking house if you have a problem leave." I said starting to get pissy but regretting my words immediately. "I'm sorry I didn't mean for it to come out like that"

Instead of fighting me back Mike softly said "It's okay, I'm use to it"

"Use to what?" I asked

"Use to everyone taking their shit out on me, everyone blames me because they think I don't care, they think I don't have feelings but I do" He said wiping a tear away.

"Mike what happened?" I asked.

"You happened!" He said raising his voice a bit. "It's your fault if you didn't have to move here and be so... so... Well you know. Such a whore then we wouldn't have this problem."

"Excuse me Mike what the fuck did you just call me?"

"A whore because that's what you are." He said crossing his arms. Here's the old Mike again.

"You're a fucking whore, how am I whore?" I yelled at him.

"Because you kissed Vic." He yelled back.

"I know I'm sorry, I just happened." I whispered.

"No Cameron it doesn't 'just happen'" He said calming down "I didn't know that you did I thought he just had a little crush on you, and I went to go and talk to him you and he told me that you guys kissed and he knows that we did because some one told him, now he's hurt Cameron. He's fragile you can't just do this to him. But you had to go and whore off with me and now he won't talk to me because he thinks I stole the girl he liked again."

"About me and you?" I asked wondering why he was going to talk to Vic about me

"Yes because I was starting to like you and I wanted to see if Vic would be okay if I asked you out but forget that, fuck you. You ruined the only good relationship I had with family." Mike said starting to stand up.

"Wait Mike don't go I'm sorry I really like you." I said grabbing his arm.

"Well it's too late for that now you messed up." He said jerking his hand away from mine and jumping out of the tree house. He fell down and landed on his butt.

"Are you okay?" I asked, but he ignored me and wiped the dirt off his skinny jeans and walked away.


I have to go talk to Vic and fix things.
