Senior Year, Biscuits & The Fuentes Family As Told By Nelissa Brown

I know I may have seemed a little scared of Dom. But I'm not, honest. What can she really do? She's already done enough to me. Everything else is just extra. She can't kill me. She'll go to jail and I'm sure Mike won't want to date a convict. I can't hide. But you know what I can do? I can get her back.
I'm not very good with pranks. But luckily I stumbled across a joke shop. I've brought some candy. Apparently when you suck and eat them they'll turn your teeth, tongue, lips and the surrounding area bright blue. I don't know if it'll work but it's worth a shot. I have to do it now too, there's only today left. We go home tonight.
I stood outside Dom's room for ages. I don't know what she does in there. It only takes me ten minutes to get ready, fifteen at a push. Eventually she came out and glared at me. "What do you want?" Dom rolled her eyes. She's so lovely. What a catch.
"I'm just going to breakfast." I shrugged.
"What's that?" she narrowed her eyes at the candy.
"Just some candy I brought." I sighed. She snatched it away and started munching on it. I started smiling.
"You eat one."
"But I don't want to-"
"Eat one." Dom snapped. She pressed it into my hand and watched me as I tried to swallow it whole. This really isn't working out as I planned. Dom grinned at me and went downstairs. I hope I don't look blue.
I went downstairs to breakfast and everyone looked over to me. What have I done? "Why is your tongue blue?" Jaime asked me as I sat down. "No! I thought I just swallowed it." I groaned. He raised his eyebrows at me and I shook my head.
"Have you seen Oli's face?" Sophie asked excitedly. "He won't come out of his room."
"What happened to his face?" B asked as she looked at me. I bet she knows.
"I bet it was Mike." Sophie said.
"I'm right here!" Mike exclaimed.
"Or Nel."
"Back off, Sophie." Mike rolled his eyes.
"You!" Dom screamed and came over to me angrily. Oh no. "You did this." She accused. I was trying to take her seriously but it's difficult when someone's teeth, tongue, lips and mouth is all bright blue. She looks like an ill smirf.
"It turned out good. If it was me then I down up to it." I laughed.
"You're dead!" Dom said angrily. "You're going to hell."
"I wouldn't know anyone in heaven anyway." I shrugged. "So is this one to me?" I asked.
"You bitch!" Dom exclaimed and before I realised what was happening she slapped me right across the face. I gasped and held my cheek.
"Why the hell did you do that for?!" Mike demanded.
"You complete-" B started but Tony clasped his hand over her mouth. I stood up and for the first time in my life actually intentionally glared at someone.
"Don't you know?" I asked sweetly. "Real girls punch!" I yelled. I went to swing my arm forward but Mike grabbed me around the middle. He picked me up and carried me out into the hallway.
"What's going on?!" Mike asked angrily. "What are you doing? You've never even hit someone before."
"Can I go back?" I asked but he shook his head. "Please." I said and went to walk back.
"No." Mike snapped.
"Nelissa!" Ms Davies called. She came over and looked at me angrily. "Are you hurt?" she asked and I shook my head. "We're talking to Dominique now. After I'll be coming to talk to you and Mike." "Me?!" Mike exclaimed. "What did I do?!"
"This is all your fault," I grumbled. "She's your girlfriend."
"Don't remind me." he said grimly.
"Detention when you get back." Ms Davies puffed out and left us alone. Finally.
"I need to go upstairs. Check my face isn't broke." I muttered.
I hurried upstairs and got into my room. I took a seat on my bed and saw the door open. B walked inside and came to sit next to me. "I just poured all of Dom's $60 perfume out of the window." B said.
"Thanks." I muttered.
"You okay?"
"I'm fine," I shrugged. Now that B is here I'm starting to realise I actually don't want anyone around me. I sighed and looked at her. "I think I need some air."
"Want me to come?" B asked.
"No, I'll be fine." I reassured her.
I got up and went downstairs. I went outside and sat down under a tree. But as soon as I was settled Mike walked over. I sighed. What does he want? "Why did you do it?" Mike asked. I didn't say anything. "Was it because I punched Oli? I got your boyfriend so you get my girlfriend back." I shook my head. "Come on, Nelissa."
"Dom told me to stay away from you. She said that you told her you hated me and you don't even know why they're friends. She said if I carried on being friends with you she'd do something bad." I explained.
"Nelissa," Mike sighed. "I never said any of that. You're my silly, frizzy friend who falls over a lot and has a really long name."
"Thanks." I mumbled.
"You're amazing," Mike said and made me look at him. "I just wish you could see what I see and what everyone else does. All of these people are so dull that they've been stealing your happiness and light to try and make themselves seem brighter, but they're not. You need to realise how brilliant you are." he told me gently.
"Thank you." I said and this time I smiled.
"You're welcome," Mike grinned. "Now what did you use?"
"Candy from the joke shop." I shrugged.
"Nice," he nodded. "We friends again? We even?"
"I guess so." I teased.
"I still think Oli is a jerk."
"Oh, I know." I nodded. I might be even with Mike, but I'm not even with Dom.
