*Amy's POV*
It was around 5 am on Christmas morning. I just had a night mare but didn't tell anyone. I was too scared to fall back asleep since I was afraid the dream would continue. I was sitting on the sofa with my winter edition build-a-bear named sky in the crook of my right arm and my baby blanket covering my legs. I was too lazy to put on some longer shorts Oh well.
I heard footsteps coming from the hallway that connected to the guys house.
The footsteps were soft so they were either Tony's of Jaime's.
I turned around and saw a shadow, with spiky hair.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him
"I was about to ask you the same thing" He replied
He sat down next to on the sofa
"Nightmare" I said quietly not taking my eyes off of the Christmas tree.
Out of the corner of my eyes I could see him looking from my wrists to my thighs. He opened his mouth to say something but before he could I lifted the blanket off of me and showed himmy thighs and wrists "No I haven't cut"
"Thank you for not, but that wasn't what I was going to ask you"

*Jaime's POV*
"What happened" I asked.
Her eyes immediately grew sad.
she pulled back her blanket and held her teddy bear closer. I could tell she didn't want to tell me but sometimes it's better to let everything out instead of keeping it all in.
"I woke up and it was a regular day. My dad was a drunk and did a ton of stupid stuff. Usually my mom would take me and Dove places just so that we didn't have to deal with him." I could see her eyes start to well up "That day daddy was really drunk. I tried to stop him from hitting mom. He ended up trowing a bottle at my head. I fell but he picked me up and threw me at the wall. When Dove tried to help me and mom he kicked her in her ribs. No one could move to help mom." She started shaking. I just held her and she continued "He had a bottle in one hand and a gun in the other. I screamed hoping to get someones attention. he told her 'Oh Angie. So sweet. So small. It's a shame you have to die' then, he fired the gun. Three times. Stomach, chest, head. I guess someone heard the screaming and called the cops because I heard the wailing outside. He turned to look at me and Dove. 'I'll come back for you darlings' he said and ran. I blacked out at that point. I was only 14. They took Dove and I to a psychologist to help with the trauma. We were also questioned for weeks on end. It was too much. I started cutting. At first it hurt but after days of doing it I got used to the feeling. I cut deeper and deeper each time. It felt right. Like I was supposed to feel pain. One day I decided enough was enough. I went to an empty bridge with a 125 ft drop. I thought no one was there but I left a note anyway. I was about to jump when Damian saw me. We never met before but went to the same school. He helped me recover. I guess him and dove you can say are my guardian angels because without them I would be dead" She choked on the last word.
"And I am forever thankful that they saved you" I told her.
I sang her Props & Mayhem since that was her favorite song by us
I held her until she calmed down
I looked at the clock. 9 am. they guys would be waking up by now
"Hey Amy wanna give everyone a rude awakening" I smirked
"What the hell, why not" she said deviously
Amy and I both got blow horns that I got from Warped tour.
"I got the boys you got the others" I whispered
"Aye aye captain"
I went to our section of the house. First I opened Tony's door then Mike's then Vic's. I stood at the end of the hall and took a deep breath
"GUYS IT CHRISTMAS YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP BEFORE I BURN ALL OF YOU PRESENTS!!!" I yelled while blowing the horn. Tony, Mike, and Vic all ran into the hall and saw me smiling.
"You're dead Preciado" Mike said
At that I ran with everything I had
