Vic's POV
She was adopted Jayy Von Monroe when she was about 17 years of age, although she wasn't that much younger than he was, it didn't affect their father daughter relationship at all. I met her when I was about 28 years old. And I've been in love with her since.
She was now turning 20 and one of the most beautiful adults I had ever seen in my life. She was kind and caring and always there when you needed someone. She was mature, and had a smile that could light up a whole room. I wasn't sure how she felt about me but I was going to soon find out.
I sat in the lobby of our tour bus while Tibby, Tony's girlfriend did whatever the hell she was doing, that seeming to be making a collage of her and her best friend for her birthday, but it was turning out to be more of a mess then a collage.
"You doing ok?" I asked her.
"Yea, despite the fact that Mel, is going to hate this." I laugh. "What's so god damn funny!"
"Nothing, she's going to love it, it's the thought that counts.
"I think you should shut up!" she got up and walked away mad at something I said. I take out my phone and text Mel,
V-If Tibbs Comes over mad tell her I say sorry.
M-why would she mad you do something
V- not really sure but I'm sure she's heading to the BOTDF bus now
M-ok
Mel POV
I was sitting in the back of the Blood on the dance floor bus when all of a sudden the doors opened and on came my best friend Tibby. I only had known her for about a year. We met last year on warped tour. We had been friends ever since.
"Hey Tib tib"
"I'm almost done with your birthday present." She says and cuddles her tiny little self against me. She was so adorable.
"Really?"
"yup it sucks donkey ass but...I hope you like it."
"Of course I will love it." she makes baby cooing noises and settles into my lap. I sighed and held her close and son she was off to sleep.
When I woke up Tibby wasn't there but I found my dad playing some sort of card game with Dahvie.
"Hey birthday girl." Jayy said.
"hi." I said and got a burrito out of the freezer and placed it in the microwave to eat it soon. I loved Mexican food. I sat down next to my dad and looked at him. "wait my birthday isn't until tomorrow."
"That was delayed comment. Dahvie said. I hit him playfully.
"It's like 1:00 am it's your birthday."
"Oh," I say. I yawn and get up and get my burrito out of the microwave and eat it.
Later that day I was walking the venue when Tibby came up to me dragging Tony Behind her.
"Happy b day you old fucker." Being that she is four years younger than me she thinks I'm old.
"Tibby, I'm not that old... Besides you boyfriend is much older than me."
"Yea he's old to." Tony scoffs and laughs
"Hi Tony." I say. He nods and smiles. Tibby gives me a piece of paper with Pictures of us on it. it symbolized that I've always been there for her and she loved me so much.
"Aw thank you."
"No Problem, what are you going to do today." I shrug. "Go do something fun."
"Maybe I'm just taking a walk."
"Enjoy your life Mel you only have one." She smiles and hugs me tight and tells tony something and runs away, Tony chases after her. I roll my eyes and keep walking. I walked around the whole venue, then Vic Popped out of nowhere and said,
"hey." I jumped and said,
"Good god you scared the jeebes out of me."
"Well good, now you don't have any Jeebes to worry about." I laugh at that. "Hey, it's your birthday right?" I nod. "Well I was wondering if I could take you out for dinner?" I looked at him shocked that he would actually want to do such a thing.
"You want to take me out?" he nodded.
"why." He opened his mouth to say something but then closed it and fiddled with his thumbs he smiled and said. "Well, I like you, have for quite some time." I looked to him. Never would I have thought that this Rock boy liked me. I nodded my head.
"Thanks. And yea I would like to go out with you, I like you too." He smiled and took my hand and we walked to I don't know where, but all I know is that I'm finally dating the rock star of my dreams.
