Savannah's POV:

The alarm clock numbers showed the time: 6:45. School starts at 6:55 and I have to be at Rachels in 5 minutes. My room is filled with sprawled out clothes from my rampage of searching for an outfit for school. I tried on a pair of shorts and a tank top- too revealing. I slipped that off and tried on a skirt- too short. I tried on a floral shirt with my shorts- too fancy. I gave up and decided on a simple outfit. My straightener is being occupied by my punk obsessed brother, straightening his "perfect" hair so I decided on tying up my jet black hair in a messy bun, brushing down my bangs. I grabbed my cheap, 3G phone off the charger, checking the screen which showed 7 new messages from each of my mates:

(1) Tony: Hurry up. Bring Racheal.

(1) Kellin: Me and Vic will meet everyone by the front tree -Vic&Kellin {fwd: group message}

(2) Mike: I'm @ school W/ Vic & Kellin. Where's everyone?! || NEW MESSAGE!: Received @ 6:48: Heelloo?!!.

(2) Jaime: Hey. Don't be l8t. K? See ya! (; xx-J || NEW MESSAGE!: Received @ 6:33: Oh and don't dress nice. We have P.E.

2 missed calls from: Racheal.

I quickly replied to Jaime:

Savannah: Totes. Bringing Racheal and wearing a sweatshirt. ^_^ xx- S

You could probably tell I had a crush on Jaime and Tony had a crush on Racheal. I knew Racheal is gonna give me heat for being late so I just forget calling Racheal. I quickly existed my room, running to the front porch only to come into contact with the one and only brother: Andy. I pushed pass him, kissing my mom and glance at Andy, rolling my eyes as he speaks, "You know if someone from school sees you kissing your mommy, you're automatically dead meat and considered a loser." I nod and let out a long sigh, letting my shoulders rise and drop in a shrug. "I'm already those things, Andy. If it's uncool to kiss your own mother in this society, I don't want to live in it." I smirk at Andy as I leave him for a lecture with mom.
I run down the steps of the porch, out onto the sidewalk towards Racheal's house. I turn the corner at the end of the street and smile at my jet black haired friend with a scowl on her face, "You're late." She huffs and speaks in her quiet yet aggravated tone. I shrug and smile, pulling her on the sidewalks as we walk towards the dreadful high school. "I'm here aren't I? And besides, we have a free period and school's just around the corner." The walk to the high school was short. We walk up the concrete into the gates- gates of hell I might add- only to come in contact with the principal as he smiles down at our short figures, "Hello, ladies. How's your morning?" We both reply with plastered smiles, "Good." We dodge the next 3 teachers that try and speak to us, letting out a long sigh before making ourselves toward the meet up tree where our group of freaks and geeks stand. As a few of our friends notice us, they start their way towards Rachel and I. Tony coming first, "Hey guys," then a small, shy smile creeps up on Tony's face, "Hi Racheal." Racheal giggles and looks down with a smile. So cute. I walk away, leaving to soon to be couple by themselves, walking towards my crush, Jaime. "Hey, Savie." My nose scrunches up in disgust and I eye him weirdly, "Savie?" He smiles and draped a long arm around me, looking down at me. "Your new nickname." I laugh and lay my head back on his arm, sighing in happiness. "Okay then, Jay." I decided that's my new nickname for him. Mike, Vic, Alex, and Kellin remained by the tree as Racheal and I drool over our crushes. We weren't popular, or cool, or rich, or any of that. But we're all okay with that. We've got each other.
