200 Reasons To Live

Pitter Patter. Boom! Crack! Snap! Pitter Patter...BOOM! I sat up in bed.

"Oli!" I yelled.

Anxiety spikes. I could feel my palms getting sweaty and my heart beating at a rapid rate. Okay slow down. Deep breaths. I breathed in until my lungs couldn't take anymore oxygen, then let it all out. I repeated this about three times, until I heard another boom. The room illuminated a Florissant white.

"Oli!" I screamed. I heard footsteps. Boom! Crack! Another Florissant White light flooded the room for a second. I threw the covers over my head and trembled.

"Skylar?" Oli yelled. He sounded like he was in the room. The cover I threw over my head was ripped off. Oli's face flooded my vision. "What's happening?"

"I don't like....like...like" I stuttered.

"Storms?" He finished for me. I nodded my head. Oli scooped me up in his arms. He walked through the flat and to the living room. He set me down on the couch and wrapped me up in a blanket like a burrito. He then walked away.

"Oli?" I shouted out into the dark.

"Calm down, Sky, I'll be right back." He responded.

"M'kay." I yelled back. I heard Oli shuffling around. Soon he reappeared and was holding two cups of hot chocolate. I snaked my arms out of my burrito of comfort and grabbed the mug. Oli silently sat down next to me, and grabbed a remote off of the coffee table. He turned on the television, and soon after we were watching Mean Girls. I learned that on Wednesdays we wear pink.

Hey guys so short chapter, I'm sorry I've been gone, loads of stress and stuffs, but now I'm on break, and I've had a crazy past few days, and I might incorporate some of those things into chapters. Mkay bye!
