Sometimes, I Think We're Better Off Out Of Here

Chapter 5
Kellin's P.O.V
I just sat there as Hayley and Katelyn fussed over the cuts against my lip and the bruise on my back, much to their boyfriend's dismay. "I can't believe Austin hit you!" Hayley exclaimed, recieving a nod from Katelyn. I shrugged. I knew I deserved Austin's slap. I knew that I should've told Vic what had actually happen but I pussied out. "I... deserved it...." I whispered. Katelyn and Hayley looked at me like I was explaining the string theory to them.
"What Austin did was totally out of context!" Hayley squealed. I sighed. Austin had seen through me as if I was a bottle of windex. "No seriously. Austin was in the right." I sighed. Katelyn and Hayley's faces scrunched up. "And how, Kellin?" I sighed. "Okay. So what actually happened....."

*Flash Back Commences*

I blinked, releasing a sigh. I couldn't sleep, like usually. That's the problem with being an insomniac. You can never sleep no matter what. "Are you sure everyone's sleeping?" A low voice bounced off the walls. "Shh! Are you trying to wake these brats up? Yes, I'm sure they're asleep, dumb ass." A second voice responded. I shuffled as if I was turning in my sleep.
Two men climbed through the window carefully. "Do you know how much that Jardine bitch is paying us to do this?" Slowly, I started the video camera on my phone, postioning to the men. "I know! Jardine is paying us a fortune!" The second one stated. They crept over to Vic and Mike. "The shorter one right?" the first guy asked. The second one nodded. Slowly, they reached for Vic.

"I wouldn't do that." I said softly just as they gripped Vic's body roughly. They jolted before rushing to the window. "Idiots." I mumbled before climbing out of my bunks as the men scurried out the window.

I walked over to Vic. He stirred lightly. As I went to fix the covers back over him, I was flipped onto my back, an angry Vic yelling at me in spanish.

*Flash Back Done*

"No wonder Austin slapped you." Zyan blurted out as I finished, getting a playful slap from Jordan. I sighed. "You better go find Vic and show him the footage." Katelyn said. I nodded. Getting up to go find the mexican.
