Failing Lights

*Vic Pov earlier

"What about me?" I asked.

"Um Mike you've got this. I have stuff to do." Jaime said looking through Scarlett's bunk.

"Like what?" Mike asked.

"Candy related things." He said holding up a few boxes of candy. He quickly dashed off into the restroom leaving just Mike and I.

"So how's life Vic?" Mike said trying to change the subject.

"Cut this act. What are you hiding?" I sneered.

"I told him about your and Scarlett's past." I whispered.

"What do you mean?" I whispered angerily. Jaime dashed past us and into the living room. Oh great a Jaime on a sugar high.

"I mean what happened. You know the kissing and all." He whispered with the same intesity back.

"What the hell are you talking about Scarlett and I never were lovers!" I angerily whispered.

Creak!

Mike and I both turn around to see Scar herself.

"Um uh, did Jaime go threw, um uh nevermind." She stuttered grabbing her purse and running off.

Seconds later we heard laughter.

Mike me looked me intensely in my eyes, grabbed my shirt. "Stop blocking it out. Amber wasn't your first love or kiss. It was Scarlett. It always was about Scarlett." He let go of me and I walked away from the bunk area...
