There's Hell Over Me

Vic's POV

"Amelie, and we're running away." She grins. This doesn't seem right. The other girl- Scarlett- looks streetwise and tough enough to take care of herself out there but Amelie... I don't know. She looks pretty anxious to me. She keeps pulling the sides of her jumper down, too.

"You're not serious." Mike says before I can.

"You can't go anywhere at the moment, not with that ankle." Jaime chips in.

"You can stay here if you want, I mean, you don't really know us but..." I offer.

"Really?" Scarlett asks. She nibbles her nails, I would appear, despite the Tough-Girl exterior, Scarlett is quite anxious too.

"Definitely." Mike answers, he seems to have built up an affection for Amelie. He keeps staring at her. I can picture it - The big tattooed boyfriend and the cute, shy girlfriend. I ship it.

"Woah! Thanks! So is this your first year at Warped?" Amelie asks.

"No, apparently we're quite 'famous' whatever the hell that means." Tony laughs. At that moment my girlfriend, Danielle, walks in. She's really beautiful, I'm lucky to have her to be honest,

"Hey, Danielle!" Tony shouts.

"DANIELLE?!" The girls shout in unison.

"Amelie, Scarlett, oh my God! It's so good to see you two!!" She hugs the two girls.

Scarlett's POV

Danielle hugs us.

"Dani... We thought you were dead."

"Well, you know..."

"No. We don't." Amelie cuts her off, suddenly strong. "I never faked my death and left my best friends to grieve over me."

"Can I just ask where the popcorn is?" Jaime jokes. We all glare at him. "Oh, okay. I'll find it myself."

"I didn't mean to hurt you, I just, well you know how it was." Danielle lowers her voice. I tap my foot.

"We all went through it together, we thought he killed you. We were all the same but we never faked death." I whisper.

"But you are running away." She points out.

"Yes. I am." I storm off the bus, I feel bad for Amelie but I couldn't stay in there any longer. I thought she was dead. She was my best friend.

"Scarlett! Scarlett! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it!"
