Remember Me?

"Happy Birthday To you." I sang to my three year old son. "Momma? Where's grandpa?"
"We go see him soon okay?" He smiles and pokes his finger on the little cupcake.
"And Daddy?" I looked into his blue eyes. The eyes that reminded so much of Bryan.
"He's always looking at you Luke." He frowns.
"Where is he?" I sit next to him and he cuddles close to me. "Daddy has a special place in heaven."
"Is he with the angels?" I nod. "Will I ever see him?"
"Of course baby. But you have to grow old and wrinkly."
"Like great grandpa?" I nod and he smiles.
"Come on Birthday Boy. Let's go visit daddy and then we'll go to Grandpa Mike's house okay?" He nods smiling and gets off his bed, going to his closet and taking out his clothes. He runs to the bathroom.
"MOMMMMYY!!" I chuckle and run towards my little man. Another year with my son.
Another year without my love.

"Papa Mikey!" Lucas yelled as we entered my parents house. "Me miss you!"
"Lucas! My little boy!" He swings him around. "How's the birthday boy?"
"Momma bought me a puppy!!" My dad looks at me smiling. "And I got many toys!"
"Really?" He nods and my dad laughs. He puts Luke down and he runs outside. I go up to him and hug his torso, him kissing the top of my head.
"How you doing?"
"I'm okay I guess. It's... Complicated."
"I know baby. I know." Alysha appears and she was holding my little brother, Keaton.
"May I?" Alysha nod and put Keaton in my arms. I look down at him and he smiles. Despise the huge age gap, I'm glad I got a little brother.
"He looks like you dad."
"It's the skin color." Alysha said. "Where's the birthday boy?" I point outside and she smiles. Keaton puts his hand on his mouth, I take it out and he grabs my index finger.
"Three years without him is hard." I finally said. "Luke reminds me so much of him, and it's hard to sleep without Bryan flashing in my mind... I just wished he was with me throughout the pregnancy.. I bet you if I wasn't so pushy, he'll be alive."
"Ali... He loved you.."
"I know he did.... I just never showed him I loved him too." Lucas squeals and starts laughing along with Tony. I sigh and smile.
"He's so much like him." Ash says as she sees him. "You make a great mother Alia."
"Sometimes I think that I'm not good enough, but when he comes to me and hugs my legs, and says that I'm the best mommy. I might be doing a great job." My dad wraps his arm around my shoulder and kisses my cheek.
"Your doing an excellent baby girl.. I'm proud of you."
