Remember Me?

After weeks of traveling and being 'mature' and having tons of fun, we had to come back home.
"I'm tired." I said, sat down next to me dad and put my head on his lap, he was playing FIFA.
"Why don't you go to sleep?" Uncle Vic asks as he was playing also.
"Because I can't."
"How many nights is that?" Stephan asked.
"Four? I think? I just cAnt close my eyes without panicking or something." I yawn. "And when we go home I know Penny and Ash would want to party or something."
"True.. You TRY to sleep again, we still have like four hours till we get back home."
"I might as well." I said and closed my eyes.

- When I open my eyes, we were home. I got up from my bed and walked outside.
"I saw them... Up her legs,stomach." My dad's voice said. I looked at my clothing. I was in pajamas
. "You have know understand she went through a rough patch bro."
"I know, Vic. But it still hurts, knowing I could've changed everything. I'm responsible for those."
"Don't blame yourself... It's not entirely your fault Mike."
"Yes It is. If I wasn't such a immature fucker, she probably wouldn't even have scars."
"Mike... Someone can have one or both parents. Have the perfect family, the best grades, the perfect home and still suffer from all that." That was true.
"Dad?" I said.
"In the kitchen." I walk up to them, my dad fakes a smile. "You slept well."
"Yeah.. I needed that." I said and sat down next to him. "Where's everybody?" They both point to the back
. "Okay.. I'm going outside." I kiss his and uncle Vic cheeks and went outside.
"SHES AWAKE!" Ash yelled, making Penny run towards me, jump, wrap her legs around my waist.
"You're awake! Yay!" She clings to me and I hug her tightly. "I missed my wifey."
"I did too. OH! I have something for you buuutttt!! You have to wait." She pouts and I slightly kiss her pout "don't be such a downer, We're back! Let's have some fun!" She kisses my cheek and jumps off me and jumps inside the pool. Everybody was inside the pool cooling off this horrible heat. "I'll be back!" I yelled and ran inside the house, up my room and slammed the door shut.
Bathing suit. Bathing suit.
There you are!
I grab my red two piece bikini and quickly put them on. I put my hair in a braid and grab a towel. I put in my flip flops and ran back outside.
"Aaliia!!" My dad yells and I laugh. I put my shit next to the chair and put on some sunscreen. "DDDAAAYYYYUUUMMMMM!!" Kitty sang and I blushed. "Working on my tan guys!" I yelled and they laughed.
"YOU NEED ONE!" Stephan yells.
"FUCK YOU!" I yell back. I put in the towel on my head and laid down.
"Uhh.. I'll be right back." Bryan quickly said and ran inside the house.
"HARD!" Ash yelled, earning a hard laugh from Stephan. I shake my head and put on some shades. I was about to close my eyes when I felt a water on me.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" I take off my sunglasses and see Penny and my dad jump in the pool. "You guys!"
"Sorry sweetie!" My dad yells. I roll my eyes and take off my flip flops. I might as well get inside the pool. I walk up to the boggy board and make dive inside, going all the way and stayed there. I look around me to see their dangling legs and I swim towards them, pinching them in the process. I go up to the surface and take in a deep breath.
"Ow!" Penny exclaimed. "what the fuck?"
"You wet me!"
"You pinched me!"
"It's pay back!"
"That's not fair!"
"GIRLS!" We look at my nana. "Stop acting like kids and continue swimming."
"She started it!" I said.
"You hurt me!"
"I was working on my-------"
"ALIA!" My dad yells and I laugh. "
Stop being such a party poooper!!" I sang and got outside, just to dive in again.
"You say that once more, you're changing into some other clothes."
"I need I work my tummy tan dad! I might be Mexican but I'm white as snow okay?"
"Not really.. You got some tan." Kitty said."besides, it not like you want to be dark as well."
"No! Just a little color."
"What's wrong with being dark?" Penny said. "You have a problem with dark people?" She walks towards me, splashing water at my face.
"No... I just envy their skin color." I said, splashing back. A few dives and throws later, the sun had set and the backyard lights were turned on, we were all changed into some shorts and just watched the night sky. My fingers intertwine with Bryan's and he squeezes my hand. I snuggle up closer to him and lay my head on his chest.
"Ya know... We should go camping." Dani said.
"We should." Stephan said. "Just us."
"After my parents wedding." She said. "Then we could go." "Sounds good." I said. "Do you think you're dad would let you Kitty?"
"Pretty sure. I hope he let me." We nod in agreement. I started to hum 'Have Faith In Me.'
"I said I'll never let you go." Kitty sang softly.
"And I never did." Penny continued, then we were all singing the song. Our voices were all over the place but we didn't care.

We were no Matty Mullins, or Hayley Williams.
We were us.
And that's all that mattered.
