Remember Me?

We were poppin' champagne and drinking wine. Kitty and Dani had to drink apple cider since they were a little younger. I mean.. I.. Yeah, this wine was crisp. Delicious! "Want another one?" I asked Bryan. "I'm fine Alia. Thanks." I smile and set the bottle of wine down. My grandmother, Aunt Laura, Rachael were washing the dishes. "You okay?" Stephan asked. "Yeah. Excellent." "Your thinking?" "My mom." He nods understanding and sits down next to me. "How does it feel to be in a holiday feast with your dad, after sooo long?" "Actually, it feels fucking amazing. I love it. It's just this welcoming and warm feeling inside, it's amazing." "Sure is. Has your dad talk to you about tour?" "No, but Kitty said something about it." "Yeah.. And I usually go, but you should go this time." "I will. I can probably help with the tech or something." "You do tech?" I nod. "On what?" "Guitar, the microphone, drums, bass, the lights.. Anything." "How did you learn this?" "My adoptive dad's brother was a tech dude, he tours with Of Mice and Men, Breathe Carolina and Ghost Town." "That rad." "Hell yeah it was,sadly he never took me because my adoptive momma didn't let him take me." "But you did meet them?" I shake my head. "Why not?" "Mom." He laughs and I do as well. It felt good blaming a mom for something, I didn't do it for quite some time. "You haven't spoken to your adoptive family?" I shake my head. "I said I wasn't going to keep contact, it hurt them but they understood. Although, I want to." "Well maybe you get to see your Uncle cause they're touring with OMM." "No way?!" He nods. "OH MY GOD!" I yelled and he puts his hand over my mouth. I bite his hand and he yelps. "Take it somewhere else." Tony said. "TONY!" We both yelled and threw punch at him. He laughs and gasps as he looks at his shirt. "Oh shit." Stephan said. Kitty walks behind us and stares at her dad. She leans in to the both of us. "You guys better run." She whispers. I quickly get on my feet and ran towards my dad. "Woah. What happened?" "Me and Stephan accidentally threw punch at him... Ruining his shirt." "Oh... Well honey, you're screwed." "What? You're not going to help me?" "Nope..." "What type of father are you?" "One that will advise you to lock yourself in a room. Cause Tony's coming this way." I peek over my dad's shoulder and see Stephan with juice dripping from his hair. Oh hell no. I go under the table. "Alia.. Get out of there." Tony said. "On hell nah." I said. Then I felt someone get my leg and drag me out. "STOP!" I said as I tried to keep my dress down. Once I was out Bryan was smiling down at me. "Traitor!" He carries me outside and stands beside the pool."Bryan if you care about me.. You wouldn't do it." "You're right Alia.. I wouldn't." I sigh in relief as he puts me down. Tony was standing right behind him. "That's why he did me a favor." He says before I get pushed in. I just stayed down the water and looked above. I smiled and made my way out. "You okay?" My dad asked me as I got out. "No.. I'm freezing." He chuckles and Uncle Vic wraps a towel around my body. "Thanks Tio." He smiles and punches Bryan on the arm. He walks up to me and gives me a hug. "I'm sorry." "You know, that's no way to treat a friend." "That's no way to treat a lady like you." He kisses my cheek and I hide my face with the towel. "I think I have extra clothes." Alysha said. "Come with me oh young Alia." She grabs my hand and takes me to a room."I hope these fit you." She takes out some undergarment,a black dress and ankle boot heels. "Want tights?" "Please." She takes out some lace tights. "Thanks a lot Alysha." "No prob. I'll let you too it. I'll be right out the door." I nod and she leaves the room. I quickly change my wet bra and underwear and put on the dry ones. I put the dress over my head and looked at myself. My cuts showed. And I forgot my bracelets. I panicked a little. I put on the tights and the ankle boots heels. I looked nice. I dried my hair with the towel and put it in a bun. "You done?" "Yeah." I said and put my arms behind me. "You look adorable! I think ima let you have these." She says and I smile. "Want makeup?" I nod and she takes out her bag. "Sit." I do so. "Close your eyes." I hesitated at first but I closed my eyes. She cleaned out the ruined makeup and put some in. "Do you wear eyeshadow?" "Minimal." I felt the brush go over my eyelids. What was she doing to me? I put my hands in front of me and I started to play with my fingers. "Want makeup up for this too?" She asked, touching my wrists. I open my eyes and see her staring at them. "I don't know what made you do these, but from what I've seen so much of it, you're really strong." I smile and she wipes away a tear that had escaped. "Come on, let me finish you and I want to see Bryan's reaction with the new look." "What?" "Your dad will get pissed off for making you look hot, but I totally think you and Bryan will make one cute couple. To bad he's not my age.." I giggle and she smiles. "Your dad will have to understand." A few minutes later, she smiled widely. "Damn..." She said and out her makeup away. "Look." I stand up and look at myself from head to toe. "Holy..." "Hot damn. You look fucking gorgeous." Alysha said. "Let me call Penny for you. Stay there." I nod and she leaves. I looked different. My hair was still in a bun but the bangs were slightly curled, my makeup was black but kept to the minimal, the dress hugged my small curves and the heels.. I loved them. "Alia.. Holy shit." Penny says as she enters the room. I chuckle. "It's just the dress." "No, not this time.. It's the whole package." I slap her arm. "It's true! You look hot! My inner lesbian is acting." "Penelope!" She laughs and so do I. "I'm not kidding. Oh my god, Bryan is going to be following you like a lost puppy. And for your daaaddd..." We both look at each other and start laughing. "Stephan's mine. Back off." "Penny. He's my cousin... That's gross." "It happens in fanfictions, doesn't mean it can't happen in real life." "Oh you fangirl.. Which ones are you reading?" "The ones for Of Mice and Men. They're great."I shook my head and chuckled. "Don't judge me woman! It's like me judging you for stalking John Green." "Shut up! Don't ever say that!" "It's true." "Who stalks john green?" We turn around and see Alysha standing in the door frame. "My aunt." Penny said. "She loves him." Alysha laughs. "Come on Alia. Let me show off my masterpiece!" I shake my head and I follow her outside. I walk by Uncle Vic who spits his drink and looks at me. That's just weird. "There I fixed her." Alysha said and everybody looked at me. My dad's eyebrows shot up and Bryan's mouth opened slightly. My dad shoots him a look and he closes his mouth fast. "DDAAAAYYYMMMM!!!" Stephan broke the silence. I felt my cheeks heat up. My dad walks to me and stands next to me. "Ladies and gentlemen. This is what I made." I smack his chest and he yelps. "Ow!" "Give credit to mom too." "And Beatrice! Damn We made a good looking kid!" Everybody laughs and my dAd wraps his arm over my shoulder. "Okay.. We'll go around and say something we're thankful for okay?" Mama Fuentes said. My dad raises his hand. "Mikey... Go first." "Okay I'm thankful for the people I have around me. For the blessing and the opportunity to be living a dream. Second of all, I'm thankful for the opportunity I have to share this holiday with my little star, and all though she probably hates me inside, but I'm happy that she's faking it." They laugh and I punch his arm. "I'm also thankful for having an amazing girlfriend, who like always, is telling me that Alia should be my number one woman... She is, but I have three number one women. Them and my mother." My grandma smiles. "I guess I'll go next." Penny said. "I'm thankful for having a family. I lost mine when I was around 3 or 4, and I've never felt so accepted before in my life. I want to thank Stephan and Kitty for being there. I want to thank PTV for always being there for me, not only through music but personally as well. I also want to thank God, because he gives us everything, for my best friend, and I'm thankful that I was there that one day." She smiles and I walk up to her and give her a hug. Stephan goes up to her and wraps his arms around her waist. "I want to be thank the one above for bringing my little cousin back, and for me having both of my parents. I'm also thankful for having the opportunity for having my girlfriend with me." He kisses Penny cheek and I squeal, happily. "And for everything actually. It's more than I could ask for, but I'm not complaining." "OH MY GOD!" I screamed and did my happy dance. Penny laughs and so does Stephan. "I saw this happening! Oh my god! I'm gonna cry! No!" I fan my eyes and everybody laughs at me. "Too cute.. AHHH! I can't!" Bryan wraps his arms around my waist and I stop being weird. "Uh." Was all I got out. I turn around and see my Dad smiling, and nodding. "Can I ask you a question miss,Alia?" Bryan said. "You may." "Be my girl?" He said and Rachel and my Aunt Laura come out with a bouquet with roses. I put my hands over my mouth to muffle my scream. I turn around and face him. "Yes. Yes. Yes." He smiles and slowly meets his lips with mine.
