Run Away Dad

"Alright, Ronnie tell me when things started going bad?" Dr McDonald said.

"It started when I was five, when the band first started. He started drinking and smoking. Sometimes he would shoot heroin, but that was rare. He mostly drank, smoked, then came home and slept. It wasn't always like it though, he was good until then. He was like that until I was about ten, then my mom kicked him out after the incident." I say.

"What incident?" She asks me. I sigh.

"When I was ten they were fighting badly one night. There was things thrown and smash. My mom told me to go to my room and stay there. I couldn't do that, I heard my mom sobbing and begging him to leave us alone. I rushed out and saw him pinning her against the wall. He slapped her for sobbing. I screamed at him to leave her alone. When I rushed at him to try and push him away from her, he shoved me to the ground. I was stunned when he did that, the man who promised to love me and keep me safe just hurt me. I started crying and shaking, he dropped her and she ran over to me. She was trying to calm me down, by then my panic attacks were only a little better than they are now. He then dropped to his knees and cried. He tried to reach for me but I ran to the other side of the room. My mom yelled for him to get out . He left and I haven't seen him for five years now."

"Who was he?"

"My father, Michael Christopher Fuentes."
