Anatome (Jaime Preciado/Pierce The Veil)

Alexis's POV

~4 days later

I had a brilliant vacation. It helped me relax and reduce my brain worrying about everything in general. It was also nice to spend some time away from Shyloh and Jaime (not that I don't enjoy spending time with them, I just needed a break) and spend time with my female friends.

"We're going to miss you." Lights whined as we pulled up outside the airport. Lights decided to stay for a week with Katelynne instead of flying home.

"We're going to miss you too, we need to organise another vacation soon or meet up when we tour." I said to Lights.

"I'll let you know more about the tour information when I get it." She said and we all exited the car. Katelynne and Lights helped Jolie, Erin and I with our suitcases then we entered the airport. It was your average airport: No one paid attention when avoiding other people, havoc was raging at the check in desks and tannoy announcements over lapped each other.

"Our flight leaves in half an hour. We need to move." Erin said. We all hugged each other goodbye then Jolie, Erin and I headed to the check in desks. Lights and Katelynne waved to us then exited the airport from where we entered.

"At least we had a good time." Jolie said whilst our bags were being checked.

"Yeah, true. It was nice to have some adult time with no kids." Erin said.

"I second that." I replied. Our bags were given the all clear, we signed them in then went through security procedures and went to Starbucks that was located a few gates away from ours.

"I'm tired." Jolie whined as we ordered and sat down at a table.

"So am I." Erin complained too.

"You can sleep on the plane, we have a couple of hours for the flight." I said as I sipped my coffee.

"They spelled my name wrong!" Jolie exclaimed as she checked her cup. She tilted the cup in my direction and I saw that it had 'Jodie' written on the side of it.

"Ha. Now you can't instagram your cup." Erin mocked. Jolie huffed and crossed her arms, glaring at the cashier.

"Jolie, quit. If you glare at her any longer, she'll incinerate." I said.

"Good, she should know the difference between Jolie and Jodie." She huffed. After Erin and I mocked Jolie's temper a bit further, our flight was called out. We binned our litter, grabbed our bags and headed to our gate.

~On the plane

The plane journey so far has been pretty peaceful. To my right, I heard a huff.

"Are you still pissed?" I asked Jolie. She raised her head and scowled at me.

"Anyone would know the difference between JoLIE and JoDIE." She huffed.

"Urgh, not this again." Erin whined from my left. I chuckled as the two of them started bickering about Jolie's name.

"Girls, shush." I nudged Jolie then Erin in their sides with my elbows as we started to get stares. They stopped bickering and looked up to see at least ten people staring at us.

"Sorry. Someone couldn't spell my name." Jolie apologised to the starers. They shrugged and turned around, resuming what they were doing before.

"Ugh. If it annoyed you that much, I'll buy you a Starbucks when we land. Deal?" I negogiated.

"Deal." Jolie nodded happily and settled down. Erin stared at Jolie and I with a confused expression on her face before sighing and turning to look out the window.

~2 hours later

"At last! We arrived! Sweet California!" Erin cheered as we exited the plane.

"Do you think you could contain your excitement a little? We need to appear relatively normal so you don't give the OAP's heart failure." I sighed as we reached the baggage collection area.

"Nope. If they stare at me and have heart failure, it's not my fault." Erin said and waved sweetly at an old man that was staring in our direction.

"Nice one." Jolie muttered as she nudged Erin's shoulder.

"Aren't I fabulous?" Erin said, looking at the ceiling and attempting to made a God like pose.

"Oh totally, now get your head out the clouds, we have bags that we need to collect." Erin came out of her own dreamland and we grabbed our bags. As we left, we had to go down an escalator to exit the airport. As we got on, there were a few people with one female two steps in front of us. She was talking into her phone, laughing shrilly at something before she turned around and glared at me.

"Excuse me?" She snapped.

"Hmm?"

"You're in my personal bubble." She hissed and started swatting her hands at me. I just need to ask one thing: What the fuck is a personal bubble? I understand personal space but this is an entirely new thing to me.

"Do you think you can move a few steps back?" She said to me. Bearing in mind, she could have moved down three steps to have her 'personal bubble'.

"Sorry, I'm not able to. There's people behind me." I said, trying to not be sarcastic. She scowled at me before huffing and climbing down two.

"Oh my god Becky, some lesbian was standing right behind me. I think she smelled me, she was so creepy!" The girl whined into her phone.

"What. The. Hell. Was. That?" I asked, turning to see Jolie and Erin having a laughing fit.

"That was brilliant! I can't believe that just happened!" Erin laughed whilst wiping away the tears that has formed at her eyes.

"The fact that she said you smelled her! Brilliant!" Jolie said, laughing along wth Erin.

"I'm not a lesbian. I'm not a lesbian!" I said the second part louder, directing it to the female. She turned at me, shocked with her mouth hanging open as she examined me.

"Are you sure? You were standing close to me?" She asked.

"Oh big deal. I was standing close to you. You could have moved." I huffed.

"Actually, I couldn't." She said, holding her phone to her right shoulder.

"Actually, you could love." Jolie said, crossing her arms and squinting her eyes. The female looked at Jolie blankly before moving further down the steps and stepping off the escalator. We approached the bottom and stepped off.

"Personal bubble. Seriously, what is a personal BUBBLE?" Erin asked as we exited the airport.

"God knows. She creeped me out." I said.

I think it was the other way around. After all, you smelled her." Jolie said sarcastically before laughing again.

"No, I didn't! Shut up." I whined as I mock glared at Jolie. She grinned at me before laughing again. I rolled my eyes at the two of them.

"Who is picking us up?" Erin asked.

"I think Mike is. He said he had nothing else to do and was able to get us." I said. After waiting outside for twenty minutes (fifteen of those were Jolie and Erin still laughing about the personal bubble girl), Mike finally arrived.

"Thank god, they've been laughing the entire time." I whined as I hugged my brother.

"About what?" Mike asked as he started putting our suitcases in the back of the car. Erin recited back the escalator events, explaining it in detail. Mike stared at Erin for a few seconds before staring at me then burst out laughing.

"Lesbian? Brilliant!" He said as he started howling with laughter.

"I don't even look like one! She though because I was a step behind her, I was hitting on her! The girl has no brain." I said as we filed into the car, after I managed to drag Mike off the ground, who had collapsed from laughing so much. He stared at me from the front view mirror before he started laughing again.

"Ugh. Just drive." I said. He regained his composure before starting the car and driving away from the airport.

"Do you have any idea what a personal bubble is?" Jolie asked Mike.

"Probably a smaller personal space or some shit like that but that's still hilarious!" Mike exclaimed, laughing once again. I feel like blood is going to start pouring out my ears. This is ridiculous.

"Hush." I said, swatting at Mike's head.

"Chill sis, chill." He said, mock glaringat me.

"Calm bro." I said, slowly moving my hands up and down.

"I'm not calm. My stomach now hurts from laughing." He whined as he took one hand off the steering wheel and held it over his stomach.

"And whose fault is that?" I said.

"Yours because you supposedly look like a lesbian!" He said before Jolie and Erin joined in with laughing. I huffed before untangling my headphones and playing music.

Manage me, I'm a mess...

I sighed and started to relax as Alex Gaskarth's voice played through my headphones, turning up the volume loud enough to block out the laughter of my brother and two best friends laughing.

~25 minutes later

I felt a soft tap on my shoulder, causing me to turn and see Jolie.

"We're back home." She said. I nodded and got out the car. I yawned and started stretching, the cramp setting in from sitting around for too long. I stuck my stomach outwards, arching my back and stretched. I felt a sastifying crack in my back and I sighed happily.

"Ew, gross." Erin said. For a long time, she has always hated having someone crack their bones. I smirked at her before I started cracking my fingers.

"Ew. No, no, no, no, no. That's gross. Disturbing. Ew. Yuck. Stop." She whined, covering her eyes and whining.

"Lex, stop making my girlfriend be grossed out." I heard a familiar turtle say.

"I'm not Tone, she's creeping herself out." I said. Tony snuck up behind Erin, ready to pounce on her. Seeing as she had covered her eyes when I cracked my fingers, she was oblivious to the fact that Tony was behind her. He wrapped his arms around her waist, causing her to squeal.

"Tony, you asshole." She said, lightly hitting his chest before kissing him.

"Aww, one sappy couple reunited." Jolie mocked.

"About to be two." I looked ahead of me and saw Jaime standing beside Mike, holding Shyloh. I squealed before dumping my bag on the ground and running to hug Jaime.

"I missed you." I said as I pulled him into a tight hug, making sure I didn't squish Shyloh.

"I missed you too." I said, cupping my hands around his face and giving him a sweet kiss. The kiss lasted for a few seconds before I heard a gurgle.

"I missed you too, my sweet little bean!" I exclaimed whilst picking up Shyloh. She continued gurgling and started cooing as she saw my face.

"What a cute little family." I hear Vic say behind me. I look around and see Vic holding hands with Thea.

"Who knows? It may be you two soon." Jaime said and winked at Vic and Thea, causing them to blush.

"Hush, you made them blush." I said.

"That rhymed, dork."

"You're the dork, you dork." Wow, nice comeback Alexis. You should write a book.

"Brilliant save there." Jaime said sarcastically, rolling his eyes.

"Oh ha ha. You know I'm brilliant." I said. Jaime looked as if he was thinking before shaking his head. I raised my eyebrow for a couple of seconds before he sighed and nodded his head.

"I may just a bit." Jaime said, smirking.

"Fine, I'll just..." I started.

"You'll just..." Jaime drolled.

"You won't get another child." I said. I knew this one would work.

"Aww come on, no! That's not fair!" Jaime pouted.

"Jaime, I'm kidding. Chill." I said, smirking at him. He glared at me for a few seconds before wrapping his arms around me.

"You're lucky I love you or I'd have probably killed you." He whispered into my ear.

"Thanks love." I said, planting a kiss on his cheek.

~4 hours later

"I wish I was there! That sounds amazing!" Tony exclaimed before laughing along with everyone else. Jolie and Erin decided to be wonderful friends and tell everyone the incident at the airport. I was close to hving my ear drums burst as everyone started howling with laughter and holding their stomachs from laughing too much.

"Well, isn't that funny?" I sarcastically said, huffing.

"Oh come on dork, you have to admit, it was funny." Jaime said, nudging me.

"She thought I was a lesbian!" I sighed.

"The best part is, I noticed she was wearing a Pierce The Veil t-shirt!" Jolie exclaimed. This caused everyone to laugh even harder and Jolie, Erin and Jaime started crying from laughing from too much.

"Shut up, it wasn't funny." I whined as I took a sip from my Coke can. I didn't really like alcohol and I tended to be the designated driver whenever we went out drinking.

"Say whatever you want, we think it's hilarious." Vic said, slowly calming down. After some time, everyone else started calming down and started sighing from the pain in their stomachs.

"If your stomach hurts, that's not my problem." I said, trying to sound sassy.

"Were you trying to be sassy?" Erin asked.

"Maybe, maybe not." I shrugged in an attempt to act nocholant.

"I'm sassier than you. I'm the sass master!" Mike yelled and stood up, pounding his fists in the air.

"Gerard Way is the sass master!" Vic yelled.

"Hell no! Louis from 1D!" Tony yelled.

"Dude, what the hell?" Mike said, turning to Tony and giving him a look.

"What's 1D stand for?" Vic asked.

"One Direction." Jolie said.

"They should walk in one direction... into hell." Mike said and made burning sounds.

"Slightly harsh." I said.

"Why 1D?" Thea questioned.

"Why not?" Erin shrugged. We all muttered in agreement and started calming down.

"What film shall we watch?" Vic asked.

"Harry Potter!"

"Star Wars!"

"Frozen!"

"What? No!"

"Choose one or vote." Vic said as an attempt to put an end to the agreement.

"I suggest Frozen because there are two infants and a six year old child here. The kids are too young to understand Harry Potter and Star Wars plots, no-one has watched Disney films in almost a week and I'm female so all final decisions are settled by me." I said, sounding formal.

"Why should you decide just because you're female?" Mike whined.

"Duh. Because she's female!" Tony exclaimed, acting as if it was the simplest thing possible.

"Ugh, fine, but no singing!" He said as Vic put the film in the DVD player.

"What? Us, sing? Never!" Jolie sarcastically replied. Vic stared at Erin, Thea, Jolie, Kenadee and I curiously before shrugging and put in the film.

~1 hour later

"Hans, don't you dare kill Elsa!" I yelled and threw popcorn at the screen.

"Why won't the Arendelle soldiers warn her?!" Erin whined and threw her arms up in frustration.

"No Anna! Don't stand in between them!" Jolie exclaimed.

"No!" Kenadee yelled.

"Goddammit, Anna, no!" Thea cried as Anna froze and Hans was knocked away from the force.

"I am never watching this film with them again." Mike muttered as we all cried as Elsa cried when she discovered Anna had been frozen. Throughout the entire film, we had all laughed about our relations to Anna's actions, cried when Elsa and Anna's parents had been killed, laughed at Kristoff's stubornness, chuckled at Olaf's actions, sang along to all the songs and were now crying over Anna's emotional, temporary death. We all sighed in relief when she unfroze and Elsa brought back summer to Arendelle.

"Yay! Everything's saved!" I squealed and threw my arms in the air. Erin, Jolie, Thea and Kenadee joined in and we all started cheering and whooping.

"Seriously, can you control your emotions for one film?" Tony whined.

"No, we can't. We're females, deal with it." Erin chuckled and leaned down to peck Tony's lips.

"Ugh, I feel so lonely. You guys don't mind if I invite along Beth?" Mike asked us all.

"Yeah, sure. It can be a huge moveie night/date." Jaime said. Mike whooped and ran into the hallway whilst dialling Beth's number on his phone.

"If you break any paintings on my walls, you owe me!" I shouted to Mike as he ran out.

"Yeah, sure, whate- hey Beth! How are you babe?" I heard Mike say fromthe hallway.

"Seeing as we're going with a sappy/romantic theme with films, what shall we watch next?" Jaime asked as he got up and took the DVD out the DVD player.

"I can check Netflix if you like?" I questioned. Everyone murmured in agreement whilst I flicked over to Netflix. When Mike came back and told us Beth would be here in half an hour, we decided to 'prepare'.

"Guys, get food. Girls, comfy bedding. Let's make this a slumber party!" Jaime cheered. We all cheered along and started preparing. Erin and I put Shyloh and Oscar in Shyloh's room, keeping as quiet as we could to not wake them up.

"They can share the cot. It's big enough and it's only for a night." I said as we tucked Oscar and Shyloh into the cot. We settled them down then exited the room. Erin headed to the landing cupboard and started pulling our blankets and covers. Jolie came up the stairs and helped Erin whilst Thea and I went into Jaime and I's room to gather our covers. Afterwards, we dragged them out the room but not before we tried sliding down the starts with them.

"One, two, three, go!" I called and Erin slid down the stairs on one of the spare covers with Thea. They bumped down the stairs and ended in a hgue pile on the ground, laughing like children.

"Well... that was certainly interesting." Jolie said as we watched Erin and Thea help each oter off the ground.

"Your go!" Erin squealed.

"Is it safe?" I called down.

"Not really but it's fun!" Thea yelled up to us. Jolie and I shared a lookbefore shrugging and sitting on the stairs with a cover underneath us.

"Three, two, one... go!" Erin shouted. Jolie pushed off the top of the stairs and we bumped down the steps. I said ow with every bump before we hit the last step and fell forward, shortly flying in the air. We landed on the ground with a loud thump.

"Ow." I whined, stretching my neck.

"Pain has overtaen my body." Jolie whined from behind me. We complained for another minute before all four of us looked at each other then burst out laughing.

"That was so fun!" Jolie whooped.

"Hell yeah!" Erin said.

"Children, children, done playing?" Vic said, tutting as he examined the scene in front of him.

"No?..." I questioned as I held my stare with my brother. Vic tutted and shook his head.

"You need to be normal." He said, referring to us all.

"Normal is boring." Thea said.

"Good quote babe." Vic said whilst walking over to Thea and wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her into a hug.

"Thanks babe." Thea said and kissed Vic. When they kissed, I saw Vic smile into it. I smiled at the scene in front of me. I was glad to see my brother happy, he deserved to be with someone that'd he love every day, until he took his last breath.

"Food's nearly ready!" I heard Tony shout from the kitchen. We all stood up and dragged the covers into the living room. An idea popped into my head and I squealed in excitement.

"Lex?" I heard Jolie ask. I ran into the dining room and started dragging the dining chairs through. Kenadee seemed to catch on quickly because she had a happy, shocked facial expression and ran into the dining room to help me drag the rest of the chairs through. I started positioning the chairs and couhc cushions whilst Kenadee started opening up the blankets and started draping them over the chairs.

"Blanket fort!" Thea yelled, catching on to what we were doing. Everyone started murmuring in agreement and that was how we spent the next fifteen minutes: building a fort.

"Casa de Frozen is complete!" I yelled in victory as we completed building our fort.All the females cheered whilst the guys walked into the living room with the food.

"Ooh, nachos!" I exclaimed as I eyed the bowl of nachos. I reached my hand out, only for it to be swiped away.

"Ah ah ah, not yet." Jaime tutted at me and swatted my hand away from the bowl. I ppouted at him and started at the bowl enviously. I watched the cheese melt on the nachos, eyeing up the sauces beside it. Mmm...

"Are you having a food orgasm?" Erin asked.

"Who, what? Me? No." I stuttered. Way to go, Alexis.

"Sure you weren't." Tony rolled his eyes at me. The doorbell rang and Mike bounced off the couch, giggling in excitement as he ran towards the front door.

"Well, someone's excited." Jolie said as Mike ran off. We all chuckled as Mike entered, guiding Beth in behind him.

"Hi guys!" Beth said, waving to all of us. We all waved back and Mike sat on the couch, pulling Beth on to his lap.

"Wow! Awesome fort!" Beth said as she examined our fort.

"Thank you!" Kenadee exclaimed.

"Right, what film are we watching? And yes, it is a sappy/romantic film." I said as I flicked through Netflix.

"Ooh, Forrest Gump!" Jolie oohed as Tom Hanks appeared on the screen.

"Oh my god, yes!" Thea said.

"RIght, looks like we're watching this then." I said as I turned on the film and the previews started. Our seating arrangements ended up as this: Jaime and I ended up snuggling on the ground in the pillow fort as well as Tony and Erin doing the same as us. Kenadee and Jolie also joined us in the fort whilst Vic, Mike, Beth and Thea sat on the couch that hadn't been used for te pillow fort.

"Time to not get emotional." Jolie said as she grabbed a handful of sweet popcorn.

~2 hours later

"Oh my god Jenny, marry Forrest! He may be dumb but he knows what love is!" Erin cried at the TV.

"Erin, babe, it's only a film. Calm down." Tony said as he gently patted her hand.

"But it's sad! It's so cute and sad!" Jolie cried and pointed at the screen.

"Forrest is capable of love!" I yelled at the screen.

"Guys, please shut up." Mike whined from the couch.

"MIke, be nice." Beth said to Mike.

"Mmmph." Mike groaned and turned to the TV screen again. When the film ended, all of the girls were in tears whilst the guys were laughing at us crying.

"Yes, it's sad but not that sad!" Vic whined as we started wiping the tears from our eyes.

"It's emotional, shut up!" Thea whined at Vic. Vic laughed and hugged Thea, pulling her closer to his chest.

"Need any emotional repair?" Jaime asked me.

"Meh, some horror films will sort me out. I can laugh as the girls huddle up in fear." I said.

"You're different and I love you for that." Jaime said and kissed my lips. I smiled into the kiss and pulled away after a few seconds, resting my forehead on his.

"I love you too, dork." I whispered. Jaime smiled at me and I returned the smile. We gazed into each other eyes then I saw a flash emitt from our left.

"Jailexis moment for the fangirls!" Jolie squealed as she opened the Instagram app on her phone. I groaned and buried my head between Jaime's shoulder and neck. Jaime chuckled and wrapped his arm around me, pulling me closer to him.

"Do you need me to hold you during the film?" Jaime asked as Mike put The Conjuring in the DVD player.

"I won't get that scared but you're comfy and I like it." I said, shifting closer to Jaime until there was barely any space between us. I looked around and noticed that everyone had curled up to their partners, Jolie was holding a sleeping Kenadee and I smiled at the scene around me. I didn't think that anything could get better. I heard two bleeps and I pulled my phone out my pocket. Jaime did the same and we both had a new message. We opened it and we both had the same message:
