Anatome (Jaime Preciado/Pierce The Veil)

Alexis's POV

~1 month later

"Thank you New Jersey, good night!" Vic yelled into the microphone and ran off stage. After the crowd started slowly filling out of the venue, I headed backstage. Even though I was heavily pregnant, I was still the tour photographer which everyone was shocked about. They kept trying to convince me to relax and put my feet up but I don't relax easily, I need to keep busy.

"Great show guys!" I exclaimed as I eventually got backstage. Normally, it took me under a minute to get backstage but now it took more than three minutes, two with the help of Jolie.

"Thanks! You're getting slower preggers." Mike said and smirked at me.

"The hell you just call me?" I said in a ghetto voice (Not trying to be rude or anything...).

"You heard biatch, mhm." Mike said, 'sassing' me.

"Seriously, HOW am I related to you two?" Vic whined as he watched us.

"You're just as crazy, it's not as noticeable." I said.

"Ooh, hot damn! You just got BURNED!" Mike yelled and we high fived. Vic pinched the bridge of his nose, huffed and walked out.

"Hmm, a new record for irritating Vic. That was about half a minute after you appeared." Jaime said as he entered. Being the grotbag he can be, he grabbed part of my checked shirt and wiped his forehead with it.

"Eww, Jaime, gross!" I whined and swatted him away.

"Admit it, you love the sweaty hugs." Jaime said, dragging out the love.

"Normally I do, but pregnancy screwed with me. If you attempt going within a five feet radius with me whilst you're sweaty, I will rip you to pieces." I sweetly threaten him then kiss his cheek.

"No fair." Jaime pouts then walks off, I presume to go and shower.

"Glad that it's the last show?" Jolie asks as I sit next to her.

"Yeah, I'm just shattered, the pregnancy is taking it out of me." I moan and lie my head in Jolie's lap. She slightly laughs and starts stroking my hair. I had half a month left of pregnancy and I was glad, it was starting to wear me out constantly.

"When do we leave?" I ask.

"In a few minutes, hopefully. It's 12am and we have a sixteen hour bus journey." Jolie said as she checked her phone.

"Fucking hell." I whine.

"Bus call!" I heard Kevin shout. I lift my head off Jolie's lap and shuffle off the couch with Jolie's help. I was glad that many people were patient with me during my pregnancy.

"Finally!" Jolie says enthusiastically and we head to the tour bus. We board the bus and I collapse onto the couch, searching for the remote control.

"Looking for something?" I turn to see Tony smirking at me, TV remote in hand.

"Turtle... you know how much I love you as my unbiological brother?" I sweetly said, smiling widely.

"Nice try but no. We'd like to watch something besides The Walking Dead." Tony says and turns the TV on.

"Woah, woah, woah! Hold up! You can never get enough of The Walking Dead!" I exclaim.

"Actually, when you're not as obsessed as you are, you can." Jaime shouted as he walked on to the bus.

"IS it bad that I'm starting to get absorbed into it?" Jolie asked.

"No." I say.

"Yeah." Tony and Jaime say in unison.

"Thanks, guys." I mutter, scowling.

"No problem babes." Jaime said and kissed my lips. He smelled a lot better so I allowed him to sit next to me.

~1 hour later

"Excited to go back home?" Jaime asked me as we cuddled. Everyone else had gone to sleep and we were the only two awake. My insomnia was acting up again and Jaime was wide awake, unable to sleep.

"Yeah, mainly so we can have our daughter." I said.

"Only two weeks left." he said and we grinned at each other. After seeing Erin and Tony have their child, we were ecstatic to have our little bean. I yawned and rubbed my eyes.

"You're finally starting to get tired." Jaime chuckled.

"Finally." I muttered. We headed to the back room we were sharing. I was unable to fit in a bunk and Jaime refused to sleep by himself, saying that he needed me with him.

"Night babes." Jaime said as I turned off the light and got into bed.

"Night Hime-Time." I said. I laid my head onto Jaime's bare chest, letting the sound of Jaime's heartbeat send me off to sleep.

~9 hours later

I suddenly woke up, feeling sharp pains in my stomach and noticing that the bed was damp.

"Jolie!" I yelled. A few seconds later, Jolie had appeared.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"I think the baby's coming."

"What?!" She exclaimed then the bus jerked to a stop.

"Oh come on, you have to be joking!" I heard Vic and Mike moan from the front of the bus.

"This hurts like hell!" I winced as I clutched my stomach and attempted to control my breathing. I couldn't hold it in any longer and moaned loudly.

~Jaime's POV

"Oh come on, you have to be joking!" Vic and Mike moaned. According to Kevin, the bus had broken down. We were in the middle of Texas in the desert. We had no way of getting help, we'd either have to walk or hope that someone else would drive down the road and pick us up.

"Jaime! What happened?" Jolie asked frantically as she barged into the front of the bus.

"The bus broke down." I said.

"What? No! It can't have! Now's not the time!" She said, starting to panic.

"Why? What's wrong?" I asked, genuinely concerned.

"Alexis is in labour!" Jolie exclaimed.

"What?!" We all exclaimed then heard Alexis cry from the back of the bus. Imagine this situation: Transport has broken down in the middle of nowhere, no way of contacting someone for help and your girlfriend is in labour, ready to give birth to your child. I was definitely fucking screwed.
