Anatome (Jaime Preciado/Pierce The Veil)

Alexis's POV

"How was tour?" Vic asked as we all sat outside. Jaime and I had invited Jolie, Kenadee, Vic, Mike, Erin and Tony over for my 'welcoming home party', Kenadee and Tony were in the pool having a water war and the rest of us were sitting on the grass, catching up and chilling.

"It was pretty awesome! It was so much better without you guys there." I say and point to my brothers. They pout and fake being sad.

"But... but... we're your brothers, you've toured with us before. Surely we're not that bad?" Mike asks. I laugh in response.

"No, it was pretty great but it did feel weird without you two, Tony and Jaime there. Sure, I did have a great time but I had only gone on tour when you four were there. It was a little weird but it was still amazing." I said, memorising moments of the tour.

"I told you she'd miss us." Jaime said from behind me. I was currently sitting on him, scared that I'd crush him with the weight of myself and the baby whilst he had wrapped his arms around me and placed his hands on my bump.

"Of course I would, my boyfriend, brothers and bestest guy friend weren't there." I said, feigning a sad voice and wiping away a fake tear. Vic and Mike laughed whilst Jaime pouted. I grinned at him then pecked his lips.

"I'm hungry." Erin whines as her stomach rumbled. I was about to agree with her when my stomach rumbled. We both stared at each other for a few seconds before laughing.

"Shall we order in? I suggest we triple our order seeing as there's two heavily pregnant women and I'm scared that they'll rip my head off if I anger them in any way." Mike said, flinching as I shifted, adjusting my weight on Jaime.

"Lex, stop wriggling, you're not crushing me." Jaime said.

"I'm scared that I am." I said and tilted my head backwards, viewing an upside down Jaime.

"Actually, your ass is pretty bony and it hurts. You've barely put on any fat on yourself, it's going to the baby so stop complaining hormonal woman." Jaime said and kissed my cheek. I glared at him for a few seconds after he called me hormonal but I let the thoughts drain away as he kissed my cheek.

~3 hours later

Our food order arrived after half an hour of Vic ordering it, we had stuffed ourselves until we were fit to burst and now, we were currently sitting on the grass, watching the sunset.

"This is amazing." Jolie said as Kena snuggled into her.

"I agree with you." I said.

"I'm going to the bathroom." Erin said. Tony helped her up and she walked through the patio door into the kitchen.

"I'm surprised it's this hot at this time of the day." Mike said as he puffed out his shirt, attempting to cool himself down.

"Mum, I need the toilet." Kenadee whined, tugging at Jolie's top.

"Go to the downstairs bathroom and knock on the door." Jolie said. Kena nodded and skipped into the house. We all continued watching the sunset, seeing the sky turn pink and orange.

"Mum, something's wrong with Erin. She complained about a sore tummy, where the baby is!" Kena exclaimed as she popped her head through the patio door. I instantly leapt to my feet and walked quickly into the house, Jolie following close behind. We walked to the downstairs bathroom and opened the door, seeing Erin clutch her baby bump and panting.

"I'm in labour." She wheezed before hissing and clutching her stomach.

"Shit." I muttered.

"Tony!" I yelled, hoping he'd hear me.

"Yeah?" He called back. Unbelievable, you'd think he'd have come through.

"Tony, Erin's in labour!" I shouted back. Almost instantly, Tony barged through the bathroom and rushed to Erin's side.

"I'll get the car ready." Jolie said and ran outside. I went to Erin's other side and she clutched my hand whilst she had a contraction.

"Shit! This hurts!" Erin winced through her contraction. Tony was saying comforting words to her, looking absolutely petrified.

"Car's ready. Everyone else knows, they'll go in Jaime's car, we're in mine." Jolie said. When Erin's contraction had passed, Tony and I helped her off the ground and directed her to the car whilst Jolie ran next door to get Erin's over night bag for when she went into labour. Jolie came back after a few seconds, shoving the bag in the boot as Tony and I helped Erin into the back of the car, holding her hands and comforting her whilst Jolie pressed her foot on the gas pedal and drove to the hospital.

~4 hours later

Erin had been in labour for four hours and you could see that she was knackered. Sweat was dripping off her forehead and she kept wincing as the contractions were becoming regular. She groaned as another one started and held Tony's hand in a death grip as she tried to get through it. I'm surprised that she hasn't fractured his hand yet.

"I need an epidural! I demand a fucking epidural!" Erin yelled as the contraction passed.

"Erin, calm down. As soon as the doctor gets here, we'll ask for one." Tony said as calmly as he could.

"No, not soon. NOW!" She yelled.

"Now now now, what's with all the complaining?" A female doctor said as she entered the room, holding a clipboard close to her.

"I demand my fucking epidural." Erin said through gritted teeth.

"First, I need to check how far you are." The doctor said. Everyone but Tony, Jolie and I turned in the opposite direction whilst the doctor checked.

"You're almost fully dilated. Another hour or so and you'll be ready to deliver. You're too far along to get an epidural." The doctor said as she started to check the machines that Erin was hooked up to. Erin started muttering, whining and crying from exhaustion, anger and pain.

"Can't the baby come out now? This is agony." Erin whined to Tony.

"Sorry babe. Even though I can't stand seeing you in this amount of pain, you need to try and be patient." Tony said and kissed Erin's sweaty forehead. Tony and Jolie continued comforting Erin whilst I sat beside Jaime.

"This is fucking terrifying. Please try and not be like this when you're in labour. I know you can't exactly control your actions when you're in labour but this is scary." Jaime said as I sat beside him.

"I'll try not to but I'll just warn you now, if you ever complain about being in more pain than me when I'm giving birth, I'll rip your head off." I say as sweetly as I could. Jaime looked slightly nervous for a few seconds then started laughing.

"Promise." He said and lightly pecked my lips.

~1 hour later

"Alright, you're fully dilated! You're now ready to give birth!" The doctor exclaimed when she came back.

"Thank god." Erin muttered.

"Who would you like in the delivery room?" The doctor asked.

"Tony, Jolie and Alexis." Erin said before wincing at another contraction. The doctor nodded and everyone else shuffled out the room after wishing Erin good luck and kissing her forehead or cheek. Erin said thanks back then the door closed.

"Alright, are you ready to do this? The doctor asked cheerily. I don't think this was the right moment to be extremely enthusiastic.

"No." Erin muttered.

"Try and be enthusiastic a bit hun, you're finally going to become a mother!" I said, attempting to lift her spirits. Erin laughed a little then nodded. Tony was on Erin's right, Jolie on Erin's left and I was at her head, ready to distract her and motivate her when necessary. The doctor told Erin to push and she started pushing, hissing and moaning. Jolie slightly hissed as Erin applied pressure to her hand but quickly sucked it up. Tony, on the other hand, wasn't doing so well. He was trying to bear with the pain but wasn't succeeding. After Erin had pushed, the doctor told Tony and I to switch places because according to the doctor, seeing as I was pregnant too, I could handle the pain better. Tony and I switched and Erin started pushing again.

"Come on, you can do it!"

"You're doing really well, keep doing this!"

"Keep pushing, you're doing great!"

These were the main things that Jolie, Tony and I had said to Erin for an hour and a half and I think she was having enough of it.

"I can see the head!" The doctor exclaimed. Tony's eyes went wide and he looked slightly nervous.

"You're almost there, I need you to give one last push then the baby will be born." The doctor said. Erin panted then nodded.

"Alright, 3... 2... 1... now!" The doctor said. Erin started pushing hard then started hissing more again.

"You've done it! You've done it!" The doctor said as she pulled the baby out. Erin threw her head back on the pillow and started crying happily. Tony started laughing then cried a little too, Jolie and I were squealing happily then hugging Erin.

"Congratulations hun! You done it!" Jolie said. The doctor cleaned up the baby whilst we were congratulating Erin then we heard a loud wail.

"It's a boy!" The doctor exclaimed happily and placed him in Erin's arms. Erin stared at him for a few seconds before she burst out crying again. Tony stared at his son then cried too. I had never seen the two of them this emotional and it was starting to affect me too.

"He's absolutely amazing,. He's perfect." Erin whispered as she stroked his hand.

"Do you have a name?" I asked whilst the doctor was retrieving a form, which was probably the birth certificate. Erin and Tony looked at each other before nodding.

"Oscar Rowan Perry." Erin said. She was grinning so widely, I thought her face was going to crack, I had never seen her so happy in my entire life.

"How do you feel now?" Jolie asked.

"I'm fucking sore and exhausted." Erin moaned which earned a couple of laughs from Jolie and I. Erin handed Oscar over to Tony and Tony froe whilst holding his new born son. He looked mesmerised. His grin grew even further when Oscar opened his eyes and stared at Tony.

"Hey son, I'm your dad. I'm going to love you so much, you'll hate me by the time you move out." He said. Erin grinned at him whilst Jolie and I watched the scene fold out in front of us. We were both feeling a little emotional too, watching one of our closest friends give birth to her first child.

"Will he be fine even though he's a month early?" Tony asked the doctor.

"He should be fine, his organs are fully developed. We'll monitor him overnight just to be on the safe side but other than that, he'll be fine." The doctor smiled at us before exiting the room. I heard her murmur something outside the door then I heard heels click down the corridor. After a few seconds, Mike, Vic, Jaime and Kenadee burst into the room, surrounded with blue balloons and baby items.

"We got this whilst you were in here. Mike freaked out about the moaning." Vic said and jabbed Mike's shoulder. Mike laughed sarcastically then glared at Vic who returned the glare with a smile.

"Let's see the kid!" Jaime exclaimed. Tony handed Oscar over to Jaime, who took him in his arms carefully then examined him.

"He looks so adorable. He's got a mix of both of your features." Jaime said as he started at Oscar.

"Who are the godparents?" Mike asked as Jaime continued to be intrigued with the baby.

"We thought about this for a long time, then decided we would have Alexis and Jaime as the godparents." Tony said. Jaime and I started at them with wide eyes.

"Seriously? Us?" I asked in shock. Erin nodded and smiled at me. I walked to her bedside and hugged her tightly.

"Thank you, I really appreciate it." I whispered into her ear.

"What's his name?" Kenadee asked as Jaime passed Oscar to Vic.

"Oscar Rowan Perry." Tony said proudly. I swear, he looked like an ecstatic child right now.

"That's a cute name." Vic said as he passed Oscar to Mike.

"Don't you think it's a bit weird that you carried him in your womb for over half a year?" Mike asked.

"Now that I think about it, it is a little weird." Erin said as she pondered about what Mike said. Tony started laughing and face palmed at Mike's statement.

"Hey, just think, this will be you and Jaime in two months." Jolie stated.

"Oh yeah." I said as it dawned on me.

"I'm now more excited than ever, I really want our little bean to arrive." Jaime said as he wrapped his arms from behind me, rested his chin on my shoulder and held my bump.

"Have you decided on any names yet?" Mike asked. He and Vic were still clueless on the baby's gender, so we decided to piss them off a little bit.

"We were thinking about Charlie or Alex." Jaime said.

"They're both gender names." Vic stated.

"We know." Jaime and I said in unison and started evilly at Vic and Mike.

"Is this your revenge?" Mike whined.

"Yep. You can wait another two months until the little bean is born." I said. We all laughed and then Oscar started crying.

"Guys, what do I do?" Erin started panicking.

"He's probably hungry, you need to feed him." Jolie said. Erin looked confused for a few seconds, then realised what Jolie meant.

"As much as I love you guys, the child needs feeding and it's pretty late." Erin said. We all got the hint and started getting up (I did with help from Jaime). We all hugged Tony and Erin goodbye, gently stroked Oscar's hand and exited the room.

"Well, that certainly was an eventful night." I said as we exited the hospital. Everyone nodded in agreement and we split into two cars. We arrived home after a short journey, said goodbye to each other on the street and went into our houses.

"God, my hand hurts." I whined as Jaime unlocked the house.

"I'm assuming Erin crushed it when she was giving birth?" Jaime asked as he rooted around the freezer, pulling out a small bag of ice.

"Yeah. I knew she was strong but she has a fucking death grip when necessary." I said as Jaime gently placed the bag of ice on my hand. We walked up the stairs, heading to our bedroom. I glance at the hallway clock, showing that it was 1:41am. I had never realised how much time we had spent in the hospital. Jaime opened the door to the nursery and entered. I followed and saw him staring at the baby crib.

"Just think, in two months, our gorgeous daughter is going to be born, look as beautiful as her mummy and be sleeping in this crib." He said as he hugged me.

"I now can't wait to be a parent." I sighed happily as Jaime kissed my lips. Jaime pulled away and stared into my eyes, smiling at me.

"Neither can I."
